I had a terrible experience at this U-haul location. They did not have the trailer that I had reserved earlier that morning and they offered me an enclosed one at a higher rate. The family ahead of me in line was turned away with the same story. More importantly, the salesperson was asleep on the sofa in the showroom and, after trying to wake him by shouting, I had to physically shake his leg to get him to awaken. They offered no help in aligning myself or hitching the trailer or checking the lights. A passerby on the street kindly offered to help me hitch it when he saw that I was struggling. I would highly recommend against using this location as they are unreliable and very unprofessional.

Dear Customer Service, We had reserved a 10-foot truck to move our son today from his university in Ottawa, Ontario, to our home in L'Orignal, Ontario. Our reservation number was 74482201, and the truck was to be picked up at your 532 Montreal Road location in Ottawa. The rental was booked as a one-way rental, with the truck to be returned to your U-Haul location in Hawkesbury. To ensure everything was in order, our son stopped by the Montreal Road location yesterday to confirm that all the arrangements were correct for our pickup this morning. He was assured that everything was set. When we arrived at the Montreal Road location at approximately 9:30 a.m. today, we were surprised to learn that our reservation would not be honored. We spent nearly one hour trying to understand the situation and asking the staff to fulfill our confirmed reservation, but unfortunately, without success. As a result, we lost an hour of our moving day dealing with a problem that should never have occurred. My wife then suggested that I call your Cyrville Road location in Ottawa. The representative there was courteous, professional, and immediately found a solution. She arranged exactly what we had originally requested—a one-way rental from Ottawa to Hawkesbury. Unfortunately, a 10-foot truck was no longer available, and we had to rent a 15-foot truck instead. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. We lost valuable time, endured unnecessary frustration, and had to find a solution ourselves to resolve a problem that was caused by U-Haul's failure to honor our confirmed reservation. Given the inconvenience, the hour we lost, and the frustration we experienced, we believe it would be appropriate for U-Haul to provide us with compensation as a gesture of goodwill and to restore our confidence in your service. The drop off went smoothly once we got to this location, however, initially U-Haul directed us to a location that has specifically communicated to the company several times that they do not accept one-way drop-offs. This added time to an already busy and tiring day.

I was scheduled for a pick up of truck. Uhaul changed locations. Did not tell me new l9cation was a lock box. No app loaded by me so very complicated at pickup. Lost an hour. Stress using app. Paid labour sitting waiting. Made for a shitty start to a l9ng moving day.

My location was changed 5 minutes before pick up. We spent almost 2 hrs on the phone trying to reach your company and never did. My movers had to wait 2 hours for us to return. There is no customer support for your company and we were left alone to figure out what to do.
