I returned the truck during business hours, yet there is no physical person you can see in the building. It's some odd virtual experience and I was told to put the key in the lockbox since no one was at this location. We step outside, take pics of the truck, gas & mileage and see someone coming from the restroom, briskly walking back to a door area that's code protected. This is not the type of place to go virtual, especially if you are charging folks a $20 fee for an after hours drop, when there wasn't one! It was just after 4p, broad daylight! Disgusting way to try to get extra money when I put less miles and more gas than I needed, and returned it 2 days earlier. Shame on to Midgard
TIFFANY PThe mobile process is too complicated, especially for older customers. The truck was left inside a fenced area and the gate was padlocked. There was a maintenance worker driving around the lot who was far from helpful and very rude to my wife. I will be taking future business to another truck rental company from now on.
Eugene CThe directions where to find the truck keys was a big vague. The truck was parked way in the back and the keys were next to an office up front but there was another building that also looked like the office, so I wandered around a bit but found them.
Phillip DNot having the ability to check back in with attendant was not good. Truck engine light came on and was not able to let anyone know. Not sure if related to engine light, but the truck got about 2 miles/ gallon and I should be reimbursed for that.
BRADLEY BThe virtual employee we accessed at Midgard Ecusta Road to locate the correct drop off point was awful. Kept telling us our drop off point was the pick up point.

Elijah TMid-Gard runs a series of U-Haul rental and storage locations in Western N. Carolina. For their own convenience, and in spite of customer inconvenience, Mid-Gard forces U-Haul customers to drop off at remote locations, costing much time (54 miles of mountain driving = 84 min.), The problem is not at all with the specific location rated here. The problem is UHaul policy allowing dealers to refuse to take trailers. It is not like they are packed full, but it is like they prioritize storage business over UHaul business. Never used to be this way.

Jim NThis was not the closest option for us and is an out of the way location (for us) to drop off and when we arrived we were initially told they could not accept our trailer at that location even though this was our assigned drop off location. The representative relented after discussion and allowed us to drop it off.

Thomas DOriginal drop off owner refused to take the truck (Everything Automotive, 69 W French Broad St., Brevard, NC) - said he had too many. He couldn't/wouldn't tell me where another U-Haul dealer was located. He never got up to acknowledge my coming in and was RUDE. The alternate location (I FOUND) was excellent.
