Virtual agent and no personal checking made incorrect Refill Amount. I only want 12 miles but I used 2 gallons of gas that's insane.
JAMES RThe online reservation process is broken. I reserved a truck with mobile pick-up in Winnsboro SC. The order came back with a non-mobile order truck in Blythewood SC (20 minutes further). And this place was only open until 2 with no mobile check-in so had to go another 15 minutes to get the truck. If I had known this up front, I would’ve rented from Home Depot with no mileage charges. I will be very hesitant to use U-Haul again.
George TIt was difficult to go through the pick up process. I am a tall person but had to get on my tip toes to enter the code on the padlock when I finally found it. I was also charged for 2 extra gallons of gas, despite stopping at the corner gas station to ensure that I would have the same amount of gas as I had started with. Not my best UHaul experience.
Audrey CYou have to go through a lot just to get a u-haul truck I mean why you guys go back to when you can speak to people. I would never Recommend you guys to anyone that I know.
Nelson WThere was no oil in the uhaul! NO OIL! I was driving down the highway and nearly lost control of the vehicle. The power steering stopped working, the truck cut off. While i'm driving down the highway!!! Very unsafe, and scary experience. Thankful I didn't hit another vehicle on the highway. We were on the side of the road in the hot South Carolina heat for hours, with no water, no shade and miles from the next exist. I was so glad I didn't bring my 2 year old son like I planned to do. It was a very horrible experience! And the outcome could have been devastating!
AERRIS DAbsolutely HORRIBLE experience dealing with Uhaul! I made a reservation 6 weeks in advance and the location and truck size was altered FIVE different times - we eventually had to drive 35 minutes OUT OF OUR WAY to pick up a truck that was TWICE the size of what I originally reserved - after being told MULTIPLE times that I would only be charged for the smaller truck, I was required to pay for the larger vehicle as well as the additional money it took to fill it with gas! I will NEVER rent from Uhaul again (& this was my FIFTH truck rental in 6 months with them as well as several years of doing business with them between moving my girls back and forth to college) - absolutely deplorable customer service/scheduling representatives - rude and condescending - who did not do their job correctly. SHAME ON YOU Uhaul for not showing loyalty to a long-standing client!!!!
Robert COn-line rental return was rather hectic. We finally managed to get it done.
Verlon RI was charged way over the amount that was quoted and I believe that no one checked the miileage prior to the last rental and instead of owning up to the mistake that was made UHAUL charged me nearly $200 more than expected. I will never use them or recommend this company to anyone. I am extremely disappointed.
darlene rThis location utilizes virtual technology. The guy on the computer stated he would send someone to the counter to help me. 40 minutes later still no one. Called the virtual guy again got a new guy, who then said he too sent a message. Someone finally happened to walk by the window and saw me and asked if I needed help. At this point I’d been there for over an hour. And she just so happened to walk by, stated she never received a message there was someone here that needed help. The truck was also on E. I understand you get the truck and return it where you find it. But if you are moving the last thing you want is a truck that is on E. That shouldn’t even be allowed. A 1/4 of a tank should be the minimum you get a truck on. Also, renters agreement stated my truck would come with a dolly, there however was not one included. Just over all was not happy at all with the UHual pick up. This was after getting rescheduled to numerous locations and one representative refusing to help or try to reschedule something that fit my schedule and truck needs. My third uhual representative was amazing and super helpful.

Talbert GI will never do this again. The app is horrible and wasted 2hrs of my time before I could get my truck and get going. I want to deal with a living breathing human. It would have been much quicker and easier. On top of no available at U-Haul during normal business hours, there also was no one available at the location to help me. Truck had no gas, no furniture pads, Had someone else's lock on the back so we couldn't even use the truck until we cut the lock off, and was dirty. I am a regular user / customer of U-Haul but I have trouble every time I rent and it is really getting old. Time to find another solution for my rental needs. I am done with Uhaul
Jon SWhen we realized we needed two more days on the truck rental, U-Haul was very understanding and accommodating. I very much appreciate their ability to be flexible and how easy it was to grant our request!
Derek WThe Truck Share 24/7 program does not work AT ALL. There was no customer support available when I needed it, not from the app, the hotline, or from the staff at the pick-up location. If anything went wrong during the verification process, I was all on my own. Because of how long it took to retrieve my moving equipment, I was forced to delay the move-in to my new apartment until after the weekend, when I wouldn't have the support of friends & family to do so since it was during a work day. That is what 2 hours cost me. I was highly distressed & inconvenienced by the experience, and it would be unlikely that I would recommend the digital service to others. Certainly not the Midgard Self Storage location. No thank you, never again.
Kurtiss SI waited 45 minutes to turn in the appliance dolly. I called the number posted on the office door multiple times, but it was not answered. The employee was doing her walk around with the cell phone. Not sure why she didn't answer.

Loren MOnly drove 16 miles and was charged 261 miles. Was told gas was half way full but tank was on E. Mileage was also incorrect and backtracked to the previous owner. Van was dirty as hell too. I would never come back to this location even though it is the closest to my house. Good thing I have proof of mileage and gas before I even drove off the lot. Not happy that I have to take time to dispute a charge that should've never been a issue to begin with.

Malcolm-Jamal JLocation was very convienent. However, equipment was sub par. Door wouldn't open on truck. taillates were broken. I tried to clink link to report damage after getting truck-link was expired and would not allow me to report damage. Tried to call office--no answer 3x. Site was extermely busy and understaffed. Desk clerk was very nice but too busy to attend to customers .

Genova MMs. Doris, the employee at the store that help me gather information by phone, helped me at pickup and again with the vehicle return, was super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. She has the patience of a saint, and definitely goes above and beyond to make sure the customers are happy. You have a gem of an an employee in Ms. Doris, make sure she knows it!

Shane FIt shouldn't take 1.5 hrs to check in when you reserved the rental online, and there was only 1 customer in front of us. The staff worker was trying but didn't seem to be trained. He couldn't figure out how to unlock the box outside to get the key for a customer, and after 3 attempts gave up and started helping another customer and left the other customer hanging. So we walked outside to look at the key box and figured out how to open it in 2 minutes. We felt like we were having to help the staff worker do his job throughout the whole process. Also, after we drove the rental truck through heavy rain and returned it, we noticed one of the tires was almost bald. That could have been dangerous on the road. We hope that got replaced before renting it to another customer.

Samuel LI have been overcharged by 94 miles and I'm waiting on resolution. While this may not be the locations fault directly, they are an agent for Uhaul. So far the location's representative has been helpful in trying to resolve. Inside cab of truck had a few items from previous renter, otherwise clean.

Rosie SRenting from U-Haul is a joke. I had to answer way too many questions and take way to many pictures upon returning the equipment. I usaully rent from Enterprise. It is much easier with them, you just drop the keys and go.

EATHEL MThis location is a storage center non specific to a u-haul center. I had taken my car off the trailer to return the trailer then unload the truck. The attendant stated he couldn’t be responsible for the trailer without the truck. I was told to place the trailer across the street on the grass and no one would probably steal it until I returned the truck. Upon returning the truck the attendant had to call a locator team to process the return and since this location is not a u-haul location the call is processed as a normal call with longer wait time. Had I known this I would have chosen a closer u-haul specific location
Felicia RReturn agent was fairly rude and seemed like I inconvenienced her to return equipment. Also, not very good entrance location for longer trucks with towing equipment.
Carl ONot this location's fault but was referred here after reserving a car dolly at a different location that had them but having to go out of my way to this location to get the dolly I needed. U Haul offered me a discount by text but didn't actually give it to me. Dreadful experience!!!! Again... no fault of anyone at this location. Actually very grateful they had what I needed even if it was totally out of my way.
