Dropped truck off Saturday afternoon. And the guy said no one was there to check it in so just leave it or bring somewhere else. I left the truck there. And it was never checked in till today Monday. When the nice gentleman Tom at your North Smithfield location called them about it. I was not at all happy with Midtown. They shouldn't be representing you. Thank you Donna Rowan

i Called to ask why I got charged the cleaning fee. I told him it was already like that. He was real rude and used profanity.

The son who oversees the rentals was not there and the dad did not know what to do. Didnt care much about doing it. But they did detach the trailer for me and called Uhaul, after I asked them to, so as to confirm my drop off. Thats all. Otherwise it was an ok drop off location.

Had to confirm drop off. Seems the location is overwhelmed with returns, might want to do that. Although it got fixed, I got charged for a dolly I actually returned. It's handled and I'm getting a refund but shouldn't have happened in the first place. Pedro the manager is a nice guy and very helpful however. Got a call from Manny so that was nice too.

RENTERS BEWARE. Everything was fine until I got the bill. When I arrived for pickup, truck was ready with a half of tank of gas. I drove the truck 80 miles, put $20 of gas in it , and returned it to the half tank level of gas it had when I took it. When I received the final bill, they charged me $72.00 for 18 gallons of gas. when I called Midtown, the person (and I use that term lightly) I dealt with pretty much told me that all I had to do was call customer service and they would credit my account. While speaking with customer service, I was put on hold while customer service called the person at Midtown. Apparently in an attempt to cover his failure to check the gas gauge upon my rental, he lied to the customer service rep and said that the tank was full when I took it. Absolute Lie! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and I wouldn't be surprised if I wasn't the first renter they've done this to. In my opinion, you should avoid Midtown Auto at all costs and UHaul should be ashamed of themselves for allowing these people to represent them. Just not fair.
