The truck was in operable and the new it when they gave it to me but I couldn't pick it up at that time because they refused to help me load my car so I had a comeback to pick up the truck and they were already closed but when I turn on the truck the yellow light came on check engine it sounded like a freight train and when I went to move it I had a press the gas all the way down to get it to even move and it won't go over 30. Thank goodness I was only a mile from home and I called u-haul repair service and they got someone out there and they said the Cadillac converter had been cut out of the truck The people at the u-haul gave it to me inoperable.Tamara S.
Midtown Tire was not at all helpful - no offer to help with hookup or light check, no verification of towing equipment. I checked the trailer tire pressure before I loaded anything, and found 40 PSI, 37 psi, 40 psi and 15 psi. I will urge anyone who asks to avoid doing business with Midtown Tire.Richard G.
No one greeted us when we arrived. We had to hunt for someone to help us figure out which trailer was ours. Then they just said "that one over there." They didn't help hitch it up and it was actually stuck on another trailer . They were very annoyed when we had to go inside to ask them to help us get it unstuck from the other trailers.PAUL M.

We had a little trouble with the app at the end. It wouldn't submit photos and the pick up location was closed but I called and they let me leave it without the closing procedure. Also, a photo of the lock would be useful on the app.Thom P.
When the Uhaul scheduling person has a family emergency, make sure another person can handle Uhaul customers. Then when the person with the family emergency returns, don't call the customer five times, over issues this person should have been able to handle. Lack of training.john C.

The person that filled out the paperwork was rude and very difficult to deal with. The uhaul was within 4 inches of being blocked in by his personal boat and the business sign and when I told the woman at the desk about it she went and got the owner of the garage (rental location) and he backed the uhaul out with a scowl and I thanked him 3 times before I got even as much as a grunt and head nod out of him. The uhaul reeked of cigarette smoke and had garbage (coat hangers, broken personal items from previous user and cigarette ashes and butts all over the inside and ashtray and I had to smell a used ashtray for 254 miles all the way home I rode on the interstate with the window down. Stop allowing people to smoke in the uhaul and enforce cleanup from the rental store before its let out again.Joseph R.

Send customers to another location. The people at this one act as if it is very inconvenient for them to rent to someone. Also I've never been charged for both gas and milage for a local run. Won't be renting here again. Which is a shame because it is close by and we are a small new business that had intended to rent from Uhaul until we could find a truck of our own.LIESA H.
