The truck was old. Windshield wipers were terrible. Found a rotten banana that gave the truck a horrible smell. Took possession of the truck at 1/4 tank of fuel. When I returned it the tried to tell me it needed to be full.Eric K.

The unit ran well. It was a little dirtier than what we have typically experienced. We also struggled with the app to get checked in. Took almost an hour before we were able to get on the road. Customer service helped us and we appreciated their efforts.Michael Anthony F.

They were closed the day we returned truck and trailer. Took pics of everything and dropped keys in the box. They didn't get it checked back into the system right away and had to call 800 number to make sure you were aware that it was returned on time.Patrick H.

Vehicle was well maintained and ran great for the trip, however, upon pick up the vehicle was very dirty in the inside including dog hair and dirt in the seats. I cleaned it out and wiped down the seats and insides of the windows as they were dirty as well. Vehicle also smelled of cigarettes.Sean G.

The bigger issue was the mobile check in and return didn't work. Other issue is the receipt said I drove nearly 13 times farther than I actually did. They guy on the phone was nice and helpful.Kathryn C.
The reservation was made 3 weeks prior and the pick up was scheduled for the Silverthorne CO location. I called 3 days ahead of time and was told there was no equipment available. Fortunately customer service stepped in was helpful and found me one in Leadville CO. 45 minutes further away. No problem on the pick up however the trailer had 2 bald tires and I was driving 750 miles . No a safe practice.Dennis C.

first have the equipment that was reserved second don't charge more for a smaller truck and trailer combo than was agreed upon for original 26' truck. I was told the price would be same-it was not but what do you do when you have people waiting and took time off work to help. will shop elsewhere for next move and will tell to do sameRonald O.

The owner of this establishment called and yelled,threatened,and cussed at me for dropping my truck off in the wrong location. Threatened he was going to charge my card 800$ for it. Also, he accused me of not leaving the tow dolly with the truck, and I just received a bill with additional charges for â€œreturning the truck 7 days lateâ€ which is absolutely fabricated. Apparatus need lubing up from being used high in the mountains. Pretty dry and crusty. One tire is balding and split. But it worked fine and we are pleased with the transaction. Thanksdave M.

No one was at the location during business hours. Tried calling the posted phone number on the door and it went to voicemail. Never did hear back from them.Ryan J.
When I arrived I had many problems trying to use the 24/7 Haul share. The mileage on the odometer was approximately 8,000 miles more than what was reflected on the Uhaul app. I had to spend about an hour with customer service just to get the truck. Same issue when i returned the vehicle. Also, I picked up the vehicle with a 1/2 tank of gas and returned it with a 1/2 tank of gas, but was charged approx. $41.00 for gas. So now I have to write an email, spend more time. i would not recommend this location as it appears they are not paying attention to the vehicle mileage or fuel load. The Uhaul corporate folks were nice, but I would not recommend using Uhaul in the future.Kory P.

I was informed AT DROPOFF that the Leadville UHaul location has been closed, and I was expected to return the truck to a location 2 hours away. Not acceptable. I won't recommend UHaul.Josef E.
Origional reservation dropoff was 15 minutes from my home. It no longer exists, (for 3 years) Had to drive 2 hours each way to different location. Stopped at Uhaul I saw before designated one. Guy there (owner) Rude, lazy, said he won't help unhook or get off his chair basically. Not professional. Owns 3 locations including our dropoff, yet wanted to charge $100 dollars to go into his computer to change location dropoff. REALLY !!! Will never recommend this guy to anyone.cindy M.
When you get to the location there is no one there to assist you in hooking up the trailer or checking the equipment. We had to telephone number where he talked us through hooking up the trailer. Wanted us to take a trailer that had bad tires and probably would not have made it out of the city. Happen to have another 5x8 trailer with better tires, however the turn signal and back light did not work. Told us to go to different Uhaul center to get it fixed. They were wonderful and able to fix the light and turn signal, even though they were very busy and we did not pick up the trailer there.Gregg B.
The specific size trailer I had reserved 45 days out was not available and had to drive 75 miles each way to get the size I needed. Upon arrival it was not there. $50 in gas for nothing.James M.

First of all, we were told less than 24 hours that the truck we rented was not available at the location we originally planned for. We had to drive 80 miles out of the way to even get a truck to move the next day. THEN... When we got to the Lakewood location, the guys there informed us that the truck was never even dispatched. We were driving illegally and if we were to have gotten pulled over, we would've been arrested with a car theft charge. The Lakewood location could not even take our truck because it wasn't dispatched. WHAT A FUCKING DISASTER. NEVER AGAIN UHAUL. UHAUL SUCKS!!!! Tell your friends. Tell your family. DO NOT USE UHAUL.Madison M.
There were 3 different phone numbers poster. The one that worked was hand written on a wet piece of paper. Phone was answered Hello. He did get the job done. Not sure if truck originated at this location, and the office was closed for a month during the time I picked up the truck, so it may have been dropped off from another UHaul location for my use. Inside of cab and box was not very clean and I had to clean myself before using the truck. Also had to add engine oil. There were no instructions what the â€œhaul/towâ€ function did, but I was able to figure it out after about 30 miles. Truck overall performed well during the trip.Raymond L.

Both Uhaul and Millenium Towing are equally responsible for the disaster that is renting a truck from this location. We wanted to move this past Saturday morning. We tried to get the truck at 9am and due to various Uhaul app problems were not able to do so until 11:15am. The Uhaul app caused a number of highly frustrating problems. We rented a hand truck as well that wasn't placed in the truck. I guess it was just too difficult for the people at Millenium Towing to follow simple instructions. As a result I enjoyed the delight of lifting a freezer, dressers, etc. by hand into the truck. There's absolutely no one, and I do mean NO ONE, at this location to help you or even call on the weekends. You are completely on your own. Call Uhaul? Yeah, enjoy that. You will sit on the phone, get tossed from one dept to another, and still be no closer to solving your problem. I would avoid this place like the plague.david K.

I was on the phone with one trying to secure an after hours drop-ff location, lost the connection, called back only to speak with some different. That person said they would call me right back, after 20 mins, I called back only to be on hold until I received the "office is closed message." There is no mention on the web site which specifies that you need to get a verification code via email from your smartphone when you pick up the truck.ANDREW W.
After hours check in was not done even though an employee was available. Number to regional manager was an answering machine and my call was not returned. National call rep was useless, and on-line turn in could not get past the prompt for "Location" even after I double checked and re-checked that my phone's location service was properly activated. So, four points of failure and several marginal performers that need to be corrected.Jason K.

The process is not clear; the web site only mentions that you check in with your mobile phone, but when I talked to the rep he said I have to download the mobile app. Since I wasn't able to get my phone to work, the rep signed me in and did a great job- thank you.ANDREW W.
This is the most horrible experience I have ever had. I will go out of my way to post, chat and tweet to make sure that no one ever rents from this place, U-Haul in Leadville, CO. . There is no help, no knowledge and no person to speak with that has any information. I have been on hold for over 45 minutes. Not able to assist with billing. This is the worst I have never experienced. As a contractor I would be renting this truck numerous time a month but never from here again. Do not be an idiot and rent from U-Haul Leadville.Lori C.
I had the worst experience. Picking up took over 24 hours to get truck and trailer together. Had to travel all over western co. Had to postpone when I left. Lost a day of work. Terrible fucking experience. You should be ashamed of what I had to go through. Then the running lights didn't work on the trailer. Go pulled over in Wyoming. No one showed up to open the business. I had to spend more than an hour on the telephone, provide iPhone photos of my hitch and driver license and hook up the trailer myself in the MUDDY lot in order to start my use of a trailer that had a bunch of wood chips in the bed. The trailer latch would not tighten onto my ball completely, so it rattled a lot until I had some load in it. I would say you need a different agent at that location.Kneale B.

The reservation process was very unorganized. where and when to pick-up the equipment was not clear and I had to call multiple times to Uhaul's customer service line and each time the service rep did not know I had called before. When I picked up the tow dolly, I was sent a link by uhaul to view photos of damage that was present on the dolly. The web address was TERRIBLE! It sent me to "uhal.com" I would never click on a link with that misspelling, it looks like a fake address.Alan M.

When I saw someone to ask about the dolly and blanket he was rude. He told me I never here its not my job. Then come to find out my husband knew him he quickly changed his tune. All of a sudden we had a dolly and blankets. We obviously moved but I wouldn't recommend them. The advantage they are the only ones in townKatherine K.
Millennium towing needs to step up their game. This is my third rental and drop off from this location due to location and available rentals near me. I will begin driving farther to rent budget or Penske. Millennium will not answer the phone anytime of the day, yes even during business hours.Josh M.
