Unlike many small locations that see a U-Haul partnership as a supplement to their main business, the Milverton location was courteous, responsible, and quick -- as if U-Haul customers were their main concern. Will use again.Jack N.
U Haul did everything they could do to make my experience as crappy as possible. I was stuck and had to use them unfortunately, and they know this. There really isn't any competition against them. The only positives I have for them, is the pick up location workers were great,and only 1 off the many reps I spoke to on the phone was helpful. The 20' van that I had to drive 1900 kms was a huge pile of steaming shit! Air conditioner didn't work, engine light on, stumbling idle at every stop, huge exaust manifold leak,cracked front windshield. 🤣 Felt like I was renting in a 3rd world country. There's a lot more,don't have the energy to write more disasters.AARON G.

I have been renting uhauls for years, this is the last time. First, my pick up location was supposed to be Etibicoke, drop off Listowel, day before move get a call no truck in TO, pick up Milverton, the gentlemen there were very nice and in no way responsible for the shit show that ensued. None of the equipment that I ordered was In truck, unknown to.me until reaching Etobicoke. Truck was smaller than originally reserved, I reserved a 20' got 15' Everything had to be carried from the 5th floor of apt building. Due to lack of dollies. The screw up cost me an extra 143 km just to get to my staring point. Plus equipment cost, extra gas 175.00 total for fuel. (Prices were down) Put my move 6 hrs behind. The steering in the truck was horrible, dangerous on highway. Called in on Monday, just to be basically told "sorry about upur luck!!" "It's all based on availability" why reserve when you get whatever? I feel should.have been compensated for the extra millage that I had. Considering gas prices. Totally disgusted with customer service and the "oh well" attitude. The only money being returned is 22.00 for equipment, it's going to cost me more than that to drive there to get it, because I paid cash. Iam so.disappointed in uhaul, be accountable for your screw ups!Kerry R.

When I scheduled a moving truck one month in advance and the day prior to my move I received a call saying there were no 26 foot trucks available in Waterloo and that the only truck available was a 20 foot truck in Milverton. Being that I needed to move the next day I had to rush out to Milverton (leaving work early as I was told I had to pick it up on Friday) which took 40 minutes each way. What did not sit well with me was that I took weeks prior to reserve a truck in Waterloo which was not available and the size of the truck I needed too was not available. My question to UHaul is why make a reservation if you don't know your reservation will be accommodating or not.David S.

I booked online 2 weeks in advance and my requested pick up location was changed to one 35 minutes out of the way on the day before. With 2 weeks notice I expected to be able to pick up the truck at my chosen location and was very frustrated that this was not the case and no one had any desire to make it right.Barry B.

I had difficulty returning the truck due to the online return system. For some reason, online or by app, it wouldn't accept the pictures I was taking and simply refreshed or booted me out of the page. The only was I was able to return the truck was by using my dad's phone. It would be better if the app and website worked for all kinds of phones. Thanks!Valerie G.

I was originally reserved to pick up in Palmerston but day before pick up they changed to above location which was an hour out of my way and the email didn't even come to my inbox went to Junk and found all this out after I arrived in Palmerston cost me extra fuel and they unsullied wouldn't compensate me anything horrible company will go out of my way to never use them again!!Jill T.

This is NOT the location my rental contract, booked over 2 months ago, advised me to drop the truck off at. I arrived at the location listed on my rental agreement in Palmerston, ON only to be advised they are no longer a U-haul location and they did not know where the new/next location was. I called U-haul to be advised that â€œIâ€ would now be required to drop the truck off in Milverton, ON, 1/2 hour from the drop off location listed on my rental agreement and 40 minutes from my new home. A 20 minute round trip truck return turned into a 2 hour return trip, barely (stressed) making it back to my new home before the moving company arrived with the larger items. Not impressed. You don't think U-haul could off advised me the location I was scheduled to drop off was no longer where I was to return the truck? Extra driving time + gas for me and my son following in our personal vehicleâ€¦the stress of whether there was enough time to get back before the moving company arrivedâ€¦I'm now responsible to delivery â€œyourâ€ $$$ truck to an alternate location!!? Thanks for not staying in touch and thinking how you may have made this experience far more tolerable.Stephen L.
