Uhaul couldn't be bothered to call teh location to verify euipment. Then U-hauo cals and then without ask changes equipment locaiton (42km one way to west of original pick up - so adds 42 km to y bil0. an hour on phone i am told i get like 50 extra km free as have to drive east that way to get to my move location and the extra fuel to drive said equipment also so not a savings for me. 12.5 huors later I am 1 km over the 263 total km allowed I had to go to 3 gas station to get gas. Super rude location of drop off charged me $75 (teh extra miles UHAUL gave) I call Uhaul and again an hour and someone is arguing about mileage. i was forced to pick up said equipment as described in camrose AB not daysland (42 km to west). so that was extra mileage just to start and ought to have been free due to the inconvenience. let alone given a piece of equipment with literally 1/4 of a tank fuel! I still have not been refunded my money that UHAUL STOLE. Ridiculous and second time I have moved using them and had to go way out of way to get a piece of equipment. last time was 20 years ago. force to go from Calgary to medicine hat to get a 25' truck instead of a 20' and wow given an extra day and no fuel extra etc. again that time western president booked said equipment in person. this recent experience ahsme thining go with budget and pay more and not get screwed over. thanks uhaul look u the rental i had pn May 16 2026 from Camrose taht went to Heisler and then back to Edmonton. I will accept the extra charges AND fuel cost of $50 on top and ow aobut an actual apology- sales even tried to say it was iles so if it were 263 miles and the truck was showing km i was at half of allowed but thats is sales eople no clue aobut sales. thanks a lot. ONLY GOOD WAS CAMROSE DEALER USED HER PHONE TO SET UP RENTAL AS MY HPONE DID NOT ALOW CONNECTION BUT UHAUL APP POS IT IS WOULDNT ALLOW ME TO SAY THE KM AND FUEL ELVEL AND I TRIED AT LEAST 10 TIME AND UPLOADED PHOTOS TWICE.

Drop off was on the city street..,,lots of U-haul trucks parked. Didn’t deal with personnel as closed and no parking within the facility itself. Trucks always on city streets. There was no N/A for answering the last theee questions so chose no for that reason. Found key drop box outside the gate. Only info given was drop off location.
CINDY OThe location was not open on the day of drop off so I followed the steps on the app for drop off, which was completed before I had the truck for 24hours even. The location then attempted to charge me for having the truck an extra day. U-haul customer service has been great to try to get this resolved when I have contacted the general support number. Not impressed with the drop off location and them trying to not return my full deposit.

MICHAEL MHonestly I wish I could write a better review, the ladies at the Mini Mall Storage are very very nice and I want to say this is not a reflection of the employee. First of all I rented an 15’ truck, I was called the day before pick up and told that one was not deemed roadworthy and we got a free upgrade to a 20’ truck instead, very nice. Unfortunately our uhaul was stuck in 2” of ice when we came to pick it up at 8am. We didn’t think it was stuck until we turned it on to let it warm up and couldn’t even budge it. I didn’t understand how they deemed the 15’ truck as not road worthy but didn’t check that the 20’ was? We were originally told because we didn’t pay for roadside assistance there was nothing they could do — we hadn’t even driven it off the lot yet!!! Regretfully I had to get stern with the poor office lady at the Mini Mall Storage, because it was not my fault they parked the uhaul there, and it was unable to be moved. Eventually Uhaul paid for a tow truck to pull it out of the ice. We started to finally load our stuff two hours past the time we scheduled to pick it up. Very frustrating

Stephen HPicking up the truck was a nightmare- I thought I had given all the information and only had to call for a code -they needed contact information and then came back and said they couldn’t contact them- no one answers phones anymore unless they recognize the number - then we couldn’t get into the box - we were there just after 8 didn’t actually get the truck until much later -after 9 A real gong show -when we got our bill it said we were paying $1.59 km -that’s not what it said when we were booking

KEVIN BHours for this location were extremely unclear... Uhaul and Google Maps both have different hours listed than what they actually keep, and they told me another time again. They also didn't have a debit machine, and the whole pickup process was a lot more awkward than usual. The people were friendly at least, but I won't be back to this location.

Terri-Lynn SI don’t like the Fuel system. The fuel gauge reading is in the eye of the beholder . I only put 15 miles on the truck and put 13 L of gas in and the system said I owed a fuel surcharge.

Donald CThe agent at this location was friendly, helpful and had great customer service skills but Uhaul seems to have switched to an automated system which was cumbersome and slow which was much different than a year ago when I rented the same equipment, really disappointing and not better, I'm not sure anyone without a smart phone would even be able to rent anything, the equipment worked awesome as previous but quite a delay in getting through the issuance process, agent was staying late to process returns

Klassen RNot happy with the constant bouncing of where a truck is when you booked it in advanced to be at a place. Instead of three different locations. It took way to long to fill out paperwork in order to get keys even though it was all done online… thanks to Simon and the staff at Mini Storage for getting it under control… Simon you went above and beyond. However the online stuff needs to be a lot more user friendly for staff. Three cheers to the gals at mini, thank you
