Truck was parked in a dip in the parking lot that was filled ankle-deep with muddy water - lock was stuck shut so I had to stand in the water for a long time before I could get it to open. An improvement would be to repair parking lot and/or fix drainage.

The person who opened the office did not apologize for making us wait. She let us in and then left again for about 10 minutes with no explanation. There were 3-4 customers waiting before it opened. One positive note: when I returned the truck the same person that checked me in was there and she was nice and helpful at that time.

Sue L.Office is difficult to find, separate from the large parking lot of rental trucks and trailers. Dropped off just before closing time and agent said I'd have my receipt in 5 mins. Middle of next day and having to contact Uhaul to sort this out.
Troy S.I had a 6 am scheduled pickup. The attendant was 40 minutes late. The truck hadn't been checked in the night before so it had not been cleaned, or stocked with the extras (cart, dolly, blankets) etc. the whole exchange was a mess. I don't plan on renting a truck from that location ever again.

Alan R.It should be noted this reservation was originally made at the Batteries R Us location in Hopkins, Minnesota. Your representative, Orlando, was an incredibly poor ambassador for your brand. U haul failed to call me on the 24th to confirm pick up. Upon arriving I was notified that no truck was available. Orlando proceeded to improperly create a new reservation which jacked the price up about $90 dollars from where I booked it originally. While I forget her name, your rep over at the Minneapolis Auto Care center SAVED THE DAY. She corrected Orlando's poor execution of the reservation number change and ensured I also had basic insurance on the u haul truck, which Orlando also failed to confirm with me. I will NEVER be recommending people visit the Batteries R Us location in Hopkins, Orlando's training was sub par and created more problems than fixed them.

Wayne O.Fantastic experience overall. Only constructive criticism would be that parking was dicey. All street parking was full for blocks and we ended up having to double park and block the bike lane. They said it was fine but I think they could have directed us to park in their back lot and walk the block and a half from around the corner.

Mark P.It was really weird to have to walk all the way around the block and across the street to N. Washington Ave to find the truck. There is a LOT of traffic (semis) on this road. My truck was not first in the line - it was wedged in between two others so I had to do a very delicate back and forth to get it out, all while semi trucks were roaring by. The truck was dirty with sticky cup holders and smelled of smoke.

The uhaul was parked pinned in behind cement trucks and it took a good 15+ minutes just to find the truck then flag down a staff member to move the cement trucks. There was no 2 wheel dolly in the truck like I had requested, ordered and paid for. Very inconvenient to say the least.

Brendan C.Signage is horrible! This was a drop off location for me. How hard is it to put a sign for where the key drop is? I never would have found it if I didn't happen to run into someone who pointed us in the right direction. Also parking was very unclear.
Philip H.After having to get a truck in Minneapolis instead of Eau Claire due to lack of availability (not this location's fault, but was extremely disappointing), I tried to unlock the back of the truck to get the key in the morning so that I could get to the location I was moving out of in time for the movers to get there. I could not get the lock off, and the location was not open. We ended up trying to rent a truck at a different location (Brooklyn Park) after calling the support line, and when we got there, they told us that they didn't have any trucks available. They called me once but I missed the call, and they did not leave a voice message explaining this. I had tried calling them again, but they didn't answer before we got to the store and they told us they had no truck. Eventually, we went back to Minneapolis Tire and Auto, where the employee was about to get the lock off with a screwdriver. Ultimately, this whole experience made us about two hours late.

stacy M.Not same as a U-Haul Center but was OK for my drop off in downtown Minneapolis in that it was only 1.3 miles from where I unloaded. Customer check-in online is a bit tedious and detailed, but OK. Glad I wasn't taking pictures in -10 degree weather.

TERRY D.This location is in a sketchy part of town - there have been several shootings directly in front of the building - one occurred the night before I picked up the truck. I avoid this part of Minneapolis at all costs.

She hung up on me in the middle of me talking to her then wouldn't pick up the phone when I called back. Other than that this location is fine, but I would not recommend it to ANYONE because of her.

I had to use a smaller truck which resulted in more trips and was an inconvenience. No one has contacted me regarding the $50 per the website. This is false advertising and I will be contacting the attorney general as well as the BBB

Beatrice M.Cleaning fluid in the windshield wiper tank. Very dirty windshield was my main problem. First truck I WS given I couldn't see out at all and appeared to be out of gas. 2nd truck, still hard to see but drivable. Good customer service by employee. Very helpful and patient.
LAURIE B.I reserved a truck, tow dolly, and furniture dollys and furniture pads. several weeks in advance. Two days before I was to pick up the equipment I received a call that said I had to pick up the tow dolly 60 miles away and at my own gas expense! This is outrageously poor service. Luckily one became available only 15 miles away, but this is not how reservations work. Also, they did not have the furniture pads.
Nicholas S.No one answered the phone when I called to tell them that I was going to be about an hour late for pickup and the walkway from the street and stairs hadn't been shoveled and were full of ice. I slipped and could have seriously hurt myself. As a disabled veteran, this was very unacceptable.
LISA N.I was called a couple days ahead of time saying the truck I reserved wasnt available and I needed to go to a different location a mile or two away. Fine no big deal. When I got there, the online check in kept trying to get me to check in at the previous location. I had to use online since the new place wasnt open. I tried calling customer support and telling them the situation on which I was rerouted to the same unhelpful automated support 3 times before I was routed to the correct support. When I finally was routed to the person that could help me, she was impatient and told me to "just look at the screen". I explained to her that it was trying to get me to get the truck from the previous location which wasnt available. She told me to just confirm it, which I did and I asked her to stay on the line while I confirmed I could get the key and get into my new truck. She again was rude and impatient and said she would just put me on hold. She didnt and just hung up on me instead. I lost 40 minutes of my rental time dealing with this and wasnt compensated for the extra mileage it took to drive from there instead of the original location. Probably going to just try to go with a local transportation company next time cause this was a terrible customer support experience. Dont reccomend.
