Very friendly and efficient staff. I was in and out in no time flat. I returned the truck after hours, and they do a good job of reconciling the mileage and fuel. I would rent from them again.

Jonathan NMake sure the windows work properly. The passenger side window sounded like it was rolling up with sand on it every time you rolled it up to the very top. Very annoying. Also the airbag wasn't on passenger side

Domingo SSo many complaints. We reserved a dolly with our truck, when we got there at 8am there were no dolly’s. The truck had 1/4 tank of gas. The check engine light was on. The truck sounded terrible when driving. Lots of shaking and it sounded like the gears were grinding. Just a bad experience overall

domingo sI had reserved it for two days, and I got charged 150 on fees because they set it as 2 hour total rental (after I left with the truck) then I get slammed on these extra fees. Ridiculous.

Brad CWhen i returned the truck, I was a bit rushed to make sure i submitted on time so I forgot to add that the truck isnt very clean (the cup holders) when we took it and also there was a bag we threw out.
Jad Ythe only things that could have been improved is I was not informed about the damage insurance as an option. I have coverage for renting a moving truck through my insurance, so I would not be interested in purchasing additional insurance. I was not told about the additional insurance coverage, nor was I asked if I needed it. Instead I was billed for it, even though I didn't need or ask for it. I explained this to the booking center service person after I returned the moving truck and the appliance hand truck to the U-Haul facility. The service person refunded the cost of this insurance back to my debit card. The other thing that was strange was there was no rental contract I signed before I was handed the keys to the U-haul moving truck or much about the responsibility I would have to assume in the rental agreement within a typical rental contract for the equipment I was renting. I have never not had a contract to agree to and sign prior to accepting the understanding of costs, responsibilities, and other provisions that go with renting equipment. Fro example: I had to rent a simple hammer drill twice earlier this month for a task that required that tool. Of course there was a rental agreement contract that I had to read and agree to and sign prior to renting the equipment. There was a couple of technical questions regarding its proper usage that I needed to ask before I left the rental yard and I was provided those items and everything I needed prior to leaving the rental yard with the hammer drill. By being extremely knowledgeable and helpful he helped me have a tailored experience that matched my needs for the weekend. I was able to maximize my use of the 10’ Truck. It’s completely because of him that I look forward to referring my clients, friends, and family to this location. He made sure that my customer experience went above and beyond!

Francisco LThe San Diego (Mission Valley ) staff were friendly, however I felt rushed and was not given any information or instructions about how to use the 15' truck and the auto transport---how things worked, what to do if I had any issues, and so on. I signed the paperwork and was let go. Luckily I had some experience from before. Also, the left rear brake/turn signal light on the trailer did not work as I discovered shortly after leaving, and I used it over 9 days across the entire country, from San Diego to Florida. I feel the equipment was not thoroughly inspected, if at all. Given the importance of reliable moving/towing equipment, this is not acceptable. Also, there was minor cosmetic damage from before on the truck panel and I wasn't given a chance to report this, however I took photos and let the destination U-Haul staff know.

Roya II was in a jam for meeting a deadline and needed a15' truck. The Uhaul on El Cajon and 43rd st. were very helpful in reserving a truck from the Mission Valley location. Both places were very helpful, pleasant and professional.

Devon CI booked the U-Haul to be picked up at a downtown location because it was walkable (we don't have a car in San Diego), but our pick up location was changed to Mission Valley Moving Services, which we couldn't walk to, so we had to take an Uber to the pickup location, which was not ideal.
