My whole experience was very unpleasant from start to end. I made a reservation for a 15â€ truck online and in my email for my order i received the wrong address to the location. There was a sign out front stating where the uhauls are at. Very inconvenient. Then the rep had an attitude as soon as i walked in as if i was bothering her, she rushed me out and barely explained anything to me so when i came to return the truck the website keeps ending the session after i try to login and return the truck. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone!James S.

Total disaster, It total ripoff and the way business running is just to rob the customers, 1) There is no proper way to direct the customer where to drop off the vehicle. 2) Did not received receipt . 3) No proper way of calculating the gas, and charging way to high than the gas price.jeevan P.
The battery died in the truck within a few hours of picking it up. We were stranded on a main road in downtown Charlotte for 2 hours. We contacted Uhaul for roadside assistance. It took them at least an hour before they responded and then we were told it would take another hour to get someone there to help us. We ended up using AAA to get the truck started. It ended up putting us over 2 hours behind with our move. A very frustrating situation.Wendy P.

I drive for a living the brakes need to be fixed also they charge me for gas $33 and I filled the tank up myself I made sure the tank was filled up I drove the truck there and parked it myself I had the truck for a total of maybe 7- 9 days. I spent a considerable amount of money with this location over $600. I spoke with the owner about the gas he would not refund the gas money. I am very disappointed and I will never use U-Haul again ever!!! I just opened the business and I was considering renting from U-Haul at least 2 to 3 days a week sometimes I may need to rent four to five days a week. Again I will not use U-Haul because of this that's pure greed.Amy D.

While the location and people there were helpful, I found it disappointing that online booking shows and always has 0.79/mile no matter the day and yet because I switched from a 26 foot to a 20 foot at the location, I was charged 99 cents per mile. When you drive 97 miles, that's a big change.Benjamin W.

The online checkin was not clear and I was stuck in the precheckin phase of the checkin not letting me go to the next step to get the key code. The website directions were terrible. A person did arrive early to the location to help with the key, she then informed me that there was not a hand truck or moving blankets available even though it was on my rental agreement. The facility had been out for more than a week, they should have called as the only items I was moving was furniture. I had to drive 22 miles across town to another uhaul to get moving blankets. When I returned the truck not all of the blankets were folded neatly and she said she would have to charge me for refolding them. I promptly walked out and refolded them myself asking her at the end if it was good enough for which she gave me a smirk. I will not be using uhaul again given this experience, there are other rental companies to chose from.Aaron O.

The day of, my truck was in a very unsafe location to pull out of due to two other U-Haul parked in front of it sideways leaving only a small space to squeeze through. After being transferred 3 times on customer service to different people, this took over 2 hours I never got helped. I got to my location at 6pm and wasn't able to leave till 8:30pm after it got dark. It was 90 degrees outside and I was by myself, I had to ask a stranger to guide me out of the unsafe spot. To be honest, this was the worst experience I have had with U haul and I feel that I should be reimbursed for my inconvenience. This took 3 hours out of my already long packing daykellik S.

I had a question about my charges and called to speak to someone because they were different than my reservation. What the young lady on the phone said did not calculate up to the "savings" she said they gave me with what they charged. When I continued to question and asked her to breakdown the charges, she got frustrated and curt. I asked to speak to the manager or owner she said "I am the manager." But I told her I met the manager/owner the day before (a man) and it was not her. She then said, "Well I am the only one you are going to talk to today." And then she hung up the phone. When I called back, of course I got a voicemail and no one ever returned my phone call. I spoke to someone at the U-Haul 800 number and voice my displeasure with how I was treated, but they made no effort or gesture to make up for it. The rep said one of her managers would contact me and that never happened either. This company clearly does not put customer service as a priority.Keith B.

While the van was relatively new, it was absolutely disgusting inside. The front driver area was super sticky and with bad odors. The back was covered in some thick sticky syrup type substance that got all over my items I moved. Got charged $20 because I didn't use the app to check it in. I tried to use the app but it wouldn't take the picture of the dash to move forward, so I got charged $20 because the app sucks. I've had this problem at other Uhaul locations, but they know the app problems and don't charge the $20 because they know it's not the renters fault. I'll be going to another location next time I need a van.SCOTT D.

Find out how many miles per gallon the truck gets. When I replaced the fuel, I guessed how much I needed. The hand was slightly left of the 3/4 mark. I added 3 more gallons and let the truck run at least two minutes and the hand never moved. So I put fuel in for the third time - 4 more gallons. When I crank the truck, it was full!BEVERLY I.
