The unit I rented was in an area of tall grass and the unit has a large number of tiny ants in it. If the equipment needs to be stored in a field I suggest bug spray be applied to the area. The drop off person said she would spray the unit for bugs.

1. So, the bigger issue was that the trailer leaked from both front corners when we picked it up, out stuff got wet when it rained that night after we packed. 2. While this didn't impact me my rental, the confederate flag toy thingee on the office counter was not exactly professional.

we really have moved with uhaul many times I left extra gas every time but this one. It would seem that one gets no credit for the extra they do. We will go with ryder next time.

We couldn't turn the equipment in at our 1st choice because they were full so this location was offered. When we arrived Josh helped unload the trailer. We asked for paperwork showing we turned it in and he said his brother Casey the owner would send us an email. We have been waiting 4 days and have never received an email. I have called 3 times and never got a response or call back. When the head office called to confirm that we were dropping the trailer off 2 days after we dropped it off I told her about the lack of communication. She said ok I will note your file. Fortunately I took pictures of Josh unloading it so hopefully Uhaul won't be coming after me to pay for a trailer!

Have a live person available to turn your truck into. It is disconcerting to leave a U-Haul truck and trailer with the keys in it at a closed U-Haul facility.

Truck was blocked in by another truck. Cab was dirty. I didn't get the dolly that I requested and was told the closest one to me was 2 hrs away. I was then told they would make my max cost $50 for all the mess ups. I'm still waiting to see if they stand by that.

My location for pick up in Hiawassee was changed to Young HARRIS. Fortunately I called to check the day before and found out about it. Didn't get a call from UHAUL until the morning of the pick up. Should have got a call earlier....however other than driving an extra 15 miles, all worked out....

No matter what U-Haul location is used, the U-Haul computer systems are not working correctly or not working at all! Very frustrating for your agents and customers. It not the agents fault. U-Haul needs to get it's ACT TOGETHER!

I returned the trailer early. Nobody was there. The uhaul app wouldnt allow me to add a photo of the trailer, which meant I couldn't complete the trailer return. The trailers are parked off the main road, which means anyone can drop by and steal the shipping blankets and dolly from inside the trailer. So without a photo verification, I would be responsible for the contents. I had to return the next morning, before 8 am, which was suppose to be 8.30 am, to return the trailer. Nobody was at the location. So back to the app. It worked this time. So if it didnt work, and nobody was there to assist me, uhaul would probably try and charge me for another day rental. And if I called for them to verify the dropoff, uhaul would have charged me $20 for the "convenience ". And again, I had to disconnect the trailer by myself. Not a problem for me because I'm a big strong man, but if your not strong and healthy, you would hurt yourself lifting the tongue of the trailer, if you could even lift it. Uhaul relys heavily on the app to conduct business, which creates problems and can cost the customer extra fees and perhaps even physical injury, because it eliminates the personal help factor. And the app proved to be NOT reliable. The pickup and return process was frustrating and inconvenient. And uhaul was in position to profit if I didnt inconvenience myself. It's almost a scam. They documented me picking up the trailer 30 minutes before I was there. Then they dont allow the proper early return using the app, because the picture wouldnt upload. Then there is nobody at the drop off to help, so the trailer can be verified as returned on time. So I go back to the app, and "somehow " it works at this time. 5 minutes before 8 am. So uhaul is either going to charge me $29 for another day rental,(if I dont returned trailer by 8 am) or $20 to verify the drop off, (if the app doesnt work). This drop off is in a country setting and I've returned trailers in even more remote locations, so what if there is no phone signal, To use the uhaul app? It's going to cost the customer more money and uhaul will still make more profit off the app system. We use to just drop the trailer off and put the paperwork in the drop box. Simple. Now the system forces us to have a phone. Guess what? There is no law that says we have to own a phone. It's an unwritten law. What a mess. Good luck everyone.
