Submitted a pic of drivers license and credit card and did everything online and yet he want my drivers license and when I tried to show him the license from a distance he refused and instead of holding it tried to educate him him about Covid and contactless but I guess he never heard of that also his mask was under his nose only covering his mouth. First and last time at this branch

Uhaul representative was extremely rude and unprofessional. Would not answer any questions and during return kept telling me to wait while he was dealing with other customers from the convenient store. Also charged additional $23 charge when we looked at the mileage and fuel together during the return and he stated there would be no extra charges. Will never use uhaul again.

Was rerouted to this location a few days before my move. I had an unprofessional text message sent to my personal phone asking to confirm pick up. I had checked- in online as recommended by Uhaul and thought that was sufficient. I was unable to pick up my truck at the time I needed but instead had to wait for the store to open which threw our plans off. So we were a half hour late picking up our truck, but by this time I kept getting phone calls about picking up the truck when we had just pulled in. The male calling me was upset because it was a super busy day for him for truck pick ups and I was late, but yet none of the trucks were looking like even remotely picked up, nor any tire tracks on the ground from them recently moved. Nor were there any customers in. I get into the store and the male doing our paper work complained for around 5 minutes about how I didnt answer his text message which I kept saying, it was from an unknown number from an area code not in Durham Region and the language was simply unprofessional and I checked in online via the recommended uhaul way. Not to mention I asked for contactless pick up... and this male never once washed his hands nor gave me a clean pen to sign the forms with. He also handled my id and credit cards with bare unclean hands!!!!!! and questioned my address saying it didnt match.... Im MOVING to another city, I havent received my updated card because that takes 6 weeks! But every other piece of identifier was the same. I would not recommend this location for pick up. Disrespectful and rude. I made sure to take tons of pictures and do a 360 sweep of the uhaul before I left as I didnt want to be dinged for anything, there was garbage on the floor in the cabin and the back wasnt swept out, and the gas tank was less then half full.

My 5th time renting from this location. Truck was very clean and in great condition. They gave me a reminder that truck was ready and had wiped it down. The staff at this location are personal and friendly, unlike another location close by. I highly recommend and will continue to rent from this location.

I did a mobile check in at this location. I did a pre check in. By scanning and taking a photo of my license and c.c. . I had to go into the store the get the key. He then demanded I give him my license and c.c. , after I already did it myself. I choose mobile check in to limit the contact I have with other people due to the pandemic. So I feel the store owner should not have touched any of my id. Thanks Logan Malette.

Have the truck where you say the truck is actually for pick up. Our pick up was supposed to be port hope Ontario and we had to drive to Thornton rd in Whitby to actually get our uhaul truck. We wasted 4 hours in this process and a bunch of gas money of our own.

I had the worst experience first time using UHaul. I rented the truck for 24hrs, however due to closing issues for my property I had to call your office to extend it for another 24 hours as I had no where to put our stuff. I kept getting calls from your office and the store and I was threaten with a $50 charge per hour or late fees then I received a text that I will be charged $500 plus other costs despite extending it. I had to leave my belongings at my neighbor's and some on the front of driveway so I can find another truck. I rushed to drop it off. I was very shocked to receive a call from your office and forcing me to return the or face huge fines. I never had such an experience. I must say that I have recommended more than 10 families past 4 years to use U HaUl services however I will never ever recommend it to anyone. Truly disappointed.

I wouldn't recommend uhaul again. Uhaul changed my confirmed reservation 2days before my move Via email to a place that was 1 hour away and 6.5hrs later then my original reservation. It took me over 2hrs to get a new reservation. They made me feel like it was my fault that UHAUL changed my reservation. It was the smallest truck 10f truck. We had to do a few loads. Cost us more in miles. I am very disappointed with UHAUL

Very happy with the rental. Everything went smooth despite covid19 issues. Staff were great! They made sure to let me know of all my responsibilities to not incur any additional expenses. I rarely need a truck but it's good to know there's a reliable service close by.

I was suppose to pick up the truck in Newcastle. The windshield wipers were non functional. The truck could not be driven. Cost me 2 hours to shift to another location. Very annoying

I was charged more than what my receipt shows and have yet to be refunded for the extra charge. So perhaps don't over charge people. Also, when trying to drop off the truck, nobody was there to accept my preferred payment. 10/10 would not recommend this location.

The ‘oil change required' message was showing (was told it just needed to be reset, but it's an unnerving way to start), and the mobile check in didn't work—I waited a while for it all to be “authorized”, which it never was. The staff at the location were nice though, and I appreciated that the truck was ready when it was supposed to be. All went quite smoothly.

the vehiclei rented had the check engine light on the entire trip. as a result i drove slower to get to my destination as i am not a mechanic. regular maintenance needs to be done on the vehicle before renting to customers. i drove over 1000 miles from ajax ontario to conyers ga and the ride was unsettling in a poorly maintained vehicle

I went with Uhall as the price to rent a truck was good. $39.00 per day. Never in a million years did i think the bill would come up to over 300. That reason only i was disappointed.

Truck was not ready at the guaranteed time. I was supposed to get a $50 credit but was not received. This site does not offer contactless transaction and as such you should modify your website accordingly. Store hours are also incorrect cost me a 3 hour delay cuz I had to pay for staff to wait around till the store opened.

Windshield wipers needed to be replaced, and we drove in a rain storm so that was not good. Lots of sketchy characters at the pick up location.

I had a terrible experience that had nothing to do with the location. The service there was great. The problem is that the truck I booked was not available until 4.5hrs later. I was not moving close to that area and had to wait. That was ridiculous. A moving day is stressful enough and this made it terrible.

Jackie was friendly and very helpful. You're online return my truck option kept putting up errors and quite frankly stinks. Dealing with Jackie was much better and he is not responsible for an option in the your online service not working. Have gone to Jackie twice now and will continue to do so should I ever need a Uhaul again.

I filled the truck to where it was when I got it. I have a picture of the dash. The guy argued that it was slightly off. Charged me $15 to fill it. Even after I put $15 in it. So to drive from port hope to Oshawa cost me $30 in gas ? Also said I was over Kim's. Charged me another $5. I will post on Facebook how. Terrible this was.

Overall, experience worked out fine in the end. I booked my uhaul for August 15 and when I arrived to pick up I had no reservation. Turns out uhaul took my August 15th date and changed it August 30 so when I did the online checkin, didn't even notice the change. Luckily, my move was local and fairly small and there was another vehicle available for use but extremely frustrating that even happened in the first place. At booking - showed what I needed was fully available (other locations showed at limited quantity). I got the online check in link sent to me 2 days prior so made sense for timing, especially considering it was a Covid screen for online check in so why would I check in 2 weeks early? Asides from that, the location was easy to find, vehicles clean and maintained so it worked out fine in the end.

The costumer service in this location is terrible, the guy who attends don't know anything to costumer service. I have been use U-haul long time ago and never have been this kind of service. Definitely I don't recomend this location.
