Well we have rented from Uhal before but have never had someone go out of there way too accommodate my needs as much as Tammy from Nanaimo Mini Storage. I have been to many Uhauls and they rush you through like cattle just there for the money. This one was different as they were professional very friendly and extremely helpful. If you are thinking Uhaul this is the place. They are a little out of town but what they offer .makes up for it.

The drop off location was automatically generated to a town i lived in 2 years ago fortunately that was caught before we picked up.. The drop off location was an hour away in another town east of Lethbridge. I called U HAUL to see if there was a closer drop off location. They replied no, then double checked and for sure i would need to drop off an hour away. So I called other locations in Lethbridge myself and found one here 10 minutes away. The drop off was a breeze

Outstanding customer service from the family run business! My reserved rental unit was available at this location rather than my original preferred location. It was well worth the extra drive to this location. The exceptional customer service and amazing attitude to impress the customer was very rewarding. This location went above and beyond expectations. Highly recommend this location for U-Haul rentals.

I dropped it off at sSuperintendent foods, this was the worst experience I have ever had with uhaul and I will never rent a uhaul trailer or truck ever again. I was charged $31.50 cleaning fee for a 2 minute clean that was supposed to be emailed or texted to me which I never received, I was treated badly and accused of lying, they refused to refund me. I don't recommend renting uhaul from Nanaimo, very unprofessional and very bad management.

My pick up location changed twice between booking and pick up. My turn around time for pick up went from 40 minutes to 3 hours. , putting me behind schedule for my move. For this reason uhaul i will not use uhaul again if i can avoid it.

Time differences between head office and our location perhaps make connections difficult; I find it easier to simply contact the local depot directly. In theory, your available rental fleet online records should / could be accurate, however, perhaps more up to date info is available to the location franchisee? Thanks in any case. Once again the equipment is totally functional. I have only rented a "square wheeled trailer" once - unfortunately it was for a 10 hour inter-provincial move...but I consider once in 20 relative luck / success.

Booked at location close to home for low mileage, at Townsite, Nanaimo location reservation was changed to South Wellington Rd location made for higher mileage on end rate. Was hoping to keep mileage rate lower.

When a customer books a one way to originate in Victoria and Uhaul only provides one way rentals in Nanaimo the customer should be warned right away, not the day before.

I did not end up needing a storage locker and cancelled it. Booking the unit was confusing because the U-Haul app said I qualified for a free month but it still showed that I would have to pay.

Tammy and Mark, owners were always helpful. There was one weekend person for a few years who was not particularly helpful or knowledgeable - hard to get good help sometimes! In general we had a positive experience at this facility and our locker location and the facility location was very convenient for delivery. We would not hesitate to recommend Nanaimo Mini Storage.

The owners, Mark and Tammy, were awesome to deal with! The unit was very clean as was the entire facility. We moved out a week after our monthly renewal charge occurred and there was no problem at all getting a refund for the 3 weeks we didn’t need the unit! We would absolutely recommend Nanaimo Mini Storage!

The reason why I wouldn't recommend this buisness to anyone , is because of 1 specific employee. The older man with I think a slight Australian accent. He was Always very rude and a bit condescending to me anytime I spoke with him by phone. He is the sole reason I closed and moved my unit, after the last phone conversation with the him regarding me trying to empty my unit. The rest of the staff, especially the older lady who worked at the computer in store. She is honestly the only reason I continued to use the unit until I closed the account and moved my stuff to another storage company!!!

Everything was wonderful. There was a situation that someone moved into my unit in error and the admin were very apologetic quick at fixing the issue. Very Satisfied. Only complain I would say is my door in my unit sticks and one of the maintenance fellows said they would fix it but they did not, this might not have been much of an issue for others but I struggled as I recently had hand surgery. It was BIT of an inconvenience but other than that was an awesome experience Thank You!! Great company Great Service!!
