I was scheduled to pick up the truck on Thursday but the previous customer didn’t drop it off or bother to inform you what their plan was. I had to wait until the next morning to find out from you if the truck was arriving, which it didn’t. I had made arrangements for people to help on both sides of the move. People changed their plans for me. You could at least had a tracker on the truck so we could have begun making plans right away. I am not rating the outlets lower, it’s beyond their control. But it is you, corporate, that needs to up your game to accommodate your customers. I am very disappointed in you. In this day and age you could do a lot better. I live and work in Africa most of the time. The delivery trucks there almost always have trackers on them. Not here? Up your game to help you and your customers. I’m very disappointed in you. Several people helping me with the move stated they have had similar issues with your service as well. I don’t have to tell you that when people start talking about an issue with a company it’s not good.

Pretty much no change.
Aundre CSince the equipment was dropped off on a Sunday morning, there were no personnel present. Basically park the truck and drop the keys in the drop box. Since I was not the one dropping off the truck, I did not actually see the location. I've used both Ryder and U-Haul in the past. This experience was distinctly disappointing -- being required to accept a smaller truck than we reserved and having to drive it an extra 70-80 miles was not the kind of service we experienced in the past.
Gregg DWhen we got the U-Haul the roof was already damaged and water was coming. Took it home and we waited for someone to come out and patch it which delayed us and we had to extend our rental and got charged for it. When we made our move there was still water coming in our stuff.
Zach JEverything was very good. Service was quick and the vehicle was clean with a full tank of gas.
Dana SI dropped off after hours and the code scanner did not work on your website so I couldn't scan, so had to just leave the key and continue on the website. Then was charged a cleaning fee when there was nothing to clean, unless they did so because we GAVE BACK OLD MOVING BLANKETS we previously had that we never paid for on this trip. So UHAUL got back stuff we didn't owe you for and you charged us for it?

LINDA SI wanted to rent a van. They didn't have one, I settled for a small truck. When I arrived to pick up the small truck, was told it could not be used out of town. Had to drive a large truck which was very physically difficult and not what I needed.

KIMBERLEY BI was supposed to pick up the truck at 8:30 AM and the office didn't open until 9:00 AM. I had great difficulty and frustration trying to get the 24/7 service to work on my phone and was never able to get it to work. Somehow my phone was blocking location and camera and I couldn't figure out how to change those settings. It was finally able to work on my wife's phone and we were able to get the key and truck.

DAVID SAfter making a reservation in store, I wasn’t able to reserve that specific truck. I assume I didn’t reserve it soon enough. Maybe the customer service person at the front desk can let the customer know to do that. The app was a bit difficult to maneuver through. I would much rather prefer to deal with a person behind the counter than ever reserve a truck on the app again.
Karla MI hate that when you reserve a UHaul trailer, you will not actually be getting your trailer at that location or returning it where you want to. It makes you feel completely taken advantage of. I'm reserving it, I should be able to count on it. This last time, the customer service person told me that even though I had to pick up in a completely out of the way location, I couldn't pick it up over the lunch break, and I couldn't be more than 30 minutes late or the reservation would go back in the system. If there was ANY other company to use other than UHaul, I would. We've had to use UHaul several times now, but I always hope I'll come up with a better option the next time. I just don't understand why you can't make reservations and stick to them.
