The rental experience was fine. Place was fine. Only issue I had was I had to hook up my own trailer and then bring it forward so the attendant could take his picture. As I am a customer and I am also a dealer I feel it necessary to say that according to corporate policy the attendant is the own that should have done my initial hook up. We are required to do so at our dealership. Other than that the experience was ok. I also do not understand at this location when asked attendant for his managers phone number I was refused the managers number. I was under the understanding that if a customer requests it they should receive it according to company policy.Daniel E.
Thankfully, I was strong enough to pick up the trailer tongue high enough to get it onto my hitch, because there was no help available to assist me. The hitch clamp was rusted to the point that I couldn't really tighten it up initially. I drove a few blocks, then pulled over and it had loosened up enough for me to be able to snug it up securely. That was not the fault of the rental facility, of course.RANDAL S.

had a reservation for a 15 ft truck but couldnt get it at my reseveration time, so have to settle for a smaller truck and spent double gas mikeage , so there went 32 dollars , funny thing is i reserved that truck for 830 am to 230 pm and it was avaioable he said it was going to west virigina, what ever, brought my rental back guess what still there, so instead of spending 70 dollars had to spend 107 wow thanks uhaul id rether use my own vehicles than ever use u again smh plus ur customer service is awful got hung up on twice after waiting 15 min first then 20 min secondALAN F.

The truck I rented was very old and the air-conditioning did not work. The trip from Ohio to Florida was thus almost unbearably hot. I would like some sort of monetary compensation for the extreme discomfort I experienced. Finally, I was directed to the wrong drop-off location in Florida, i.e. one that does not any longer exist (The Florida Candy Factory on 721 Lakeview Road in Clearwater).Please contact me regarding these problems.THOMAS E.

I am rating uhaul as a company. I rented my truck in one location. I was called and told I had to drive 15 miles away to pick up my rental. I ordered an appliance dolly. After driving to get all rental. There was no appliance dolly. They told me to drive across town to see if another location had one. They did not offer to call first or to pick it up or to give me additional miles. Long story short, they had me go to four different locations to find a dolly and never once offered to give any sort of discount or additional mileage or anything. The information regarding the condition of the u-Haul was not accurate. The pictures sent to us before we drove off the lot/accepted each photo did not show the damage to the front bumper. This made us go back into the store and have the employee come out and look at the condition of the vehicle and check the fuel level (which was also wrong). The employee corrected everything but it was an extra step. Also the inside of the u-Haul was very dusty when we picked it up.JILL M.
We drove through alot of rain from Florida to Ohio. So we go in to return the truck and told them that the truck was leaking water (from the rain) in the cab of the truck and in the back of the truck and that alot of my boxes & furniture had gotten wet. Also that some of the blankets that we were retuning were still wet. This guy was so busy at Neon Sun Tanning and was the only one working so he told us it was going to be awhile before he could get a chance to look at the truck. I told him look nothing against you but I'm exhausted from this move & driving and that the truck was leaking and probably needed to be looked at so nobody else's things got ruined, and that the truck had more gas in it than it had when I took it and that here are the keys I'm NOT waiting! By this time and all the hassles & waiting & running around in Florida and now to be told I would have to wait more time and he wasn't sure when he was going to get a chance to check it out due to being the only person working. No I was NOT waiting! I'd had enough of U-haul and the companies disorganization!! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND OR USE U-HAUL AGAIN!!!! ðŸ˜ŸBeverly L.

My in-person rental took longer than I expected. My process was interrupted by someone calling in to make a reservation. Luckily, there were two trucks available, so I still got one. Had there only been one left, the person calling in would have gotten the truck even though I was there first, in person. I didn't like getting interrupted like that, especially since the phone call was nearly 10 minutes long. I plan to reserve online in the future. Otherwise, everything was fine.BRENDAN S.

The area that was meant for processing my pick up information ie name, address, phone number and credit card information was done in the same location other people were coming in for tanning appointments. It was a very small desk, so everyone was privy to my personal information. I my opinion there should be a separate office for there tanning business and the UHaul business.linda D.

Easy online reservation process. Large easy to navigate parking lot. Desk Staff needs to continue working on her rental agreement knowledge she seemed confused about some questions that were posed. I'm sure with a little more time she will be great! Overall, the vehicle was clean and I had very little wait time despite it being a Friday on a holiday weekend.Summer Q.

Truck was not ready. Truck was being stored offsite and facility manager expected customers to know. With it being stored offsite, when returning, customer is expected to walk more than a block to retrieve their own vehicle. No key return lockbox was onsite so customers can't return truck unless business is open.Katie A.
