The truck was fine and as expected. The rental pickup was where the problem was. I had selected the in person pick up vs the online pick up. Cell service at this location is limited. I went into the gas station to pick up the rental and was sternly told to just download the app, check in there, and then he would give me the keys. I did that as directed, and showed the reservation # with all the necessary info and had checked in online earlier in the day, so I'm not sure why i had to do this in the first place. Even though, I had already checked in, the guy working at this location then had to call someone at Uhaul to get authorization to give me the keys to my rental. And this poor guy at uhaul, it was his day off and he was with family and shouldn't have been working and having to deal with any of this. i ended up getting the truck, but what should have taken less than 5 minutes to do, took over 20 minutes. And to be honest, there was a few moments where I didn't think there were even going to give me the rental. and when I returned the truck, I didn't even want to bother going inside to return it, I just did it via the app because I didn't want to interact with the people working in the store again. I won't rent from this location again unless i absolutely have to.

Horrible experience at this location, never going back. We walked in to ask where we park the U-Haul, I had already parked it next to other U-Hauls there. He refused help answer the quick question because he was with a customer (which that’s normally understandable but he was rude about it) then we went to return it when it was our turn, he gave me a random number to call, wouldn’t tell me why, I called it, it just said “leave your name and number and the person may get back to you”. He stopped helping us immediately and went to other customers who just walked in instead of helping us at all. I told him directly “I can’t call this number you’re going to have to return it yourself” he then called a number and tried to have me be the one to go out and work with the U-Haul dispatch to return it myself. He really shouldn’t have a U-Haul location as he clearly hates doing it and is legitimately sketchy.
Sol PStore owner had to have us call someone else. In the end the truck was ready for us. Did not Have the extra equipment in the car. Not a bad experience, simply not very smooth. Everyone was polite and helpful.
K'Lynn GI want to thank and appreciate Brett Grover for the over the top help he did for me. My emergency situation he had made sure I was taken care of as the right trailer for my car( which I didn't know that it is a all wheel drive ) then finding it , making sure they would be open when I got there. Just making sure that before he left that I was taken care of everything to make me on the road safe and nothing extra needed. You got a very caring and devoted to the customer Area Field Manager.
