Truck was physically clean, but there was a garbage smell

Terrible experience and I would not recommend it. The attendant was unfriendly and didn't explain anything, making the process very confusing. As a first-time renter, I had no idea about the fuel rule, which should have been clearly communicated. They didn't even ask to see my ID. On top of that, the truck was extremely dirty and smelled awful. Very disappointing.

Your APP is terrible and nothing worked. Thank goodness the person working at the pickup location was so helpful. Please fix your APP as the rest of the Uhaul experience is amazing. Every time I move I’m amazed at what you guys have come up with that’s new. Love the storage space option and the bins to rent gonna try that next time

I rented the truck for 2 hours I was there for 11am the staff at the location couldn’t figure out something on their computer when I did everything already on the app so they end up giving me the key for the truck at 11:30 am . Also I paid on line a big size dolly and the give me a smaller one that I couldn’t even use.

Arrived at 8:30 for mobile pickup, which i had previously confirmed on the phone that they had mobile pickup available. When I got there the app said to call customer service, who told me that the location had not, in fact, set up mobile pickup, and we had to wait for the store to open at 9. Checking in took 30 minutes with a lot of confusion.

Horribly bad, I booked through the website and 10 minutes later I am called to tell my truck and location are unavailable so I had to choose a further location which only in transportation costed 3x what I had quoted. Once arriving to the location the person, who was wonderful by the way, told me that the system is not picking up my international license, I called u-haul and they told me nothing could be done, that they didn't accept international license, take into account I checked in before all this and entered my license information. Thankfully the person there help me through and I was able to get the truck 1 hours and a half after the booked time. Additionally I did not get the equipment I booked, why would you allow to book if the equipment is not going to be there? Only reason I am not putting the worse score is because of the person at the location who helped me tons, but I will surely not be booking from u-haul in the future ever again.
