This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with uhaul. I'm not sure if this was an issue with the location, or with uhaul as a company, but I will do my absolute best to never again rent from uhaul. I picked up my trailer as per usual. Outside of the fact that the uhaul attendant did not accompany me out to the trailer, which is something I have come to expect. They did not hook up the trailer, nor the safety chains. I had to do all of this myself, including taking rhe pictures to send to him showing the condition and cleanliness of the trailer. Once I was on my way, it was as per usual. I had received the email confirmation from uhaul which identified my drop off location. When i was finished with the trailer a few hours later I took it to the drop off and left the trailer there, it was after-hours, and the location did infact accept after hours drop off. I thought that was the end of the interaction. However the following day I received an interesting call from a uhaul associate asking where the trailer was. Naturally, I was a little confused as I had already dropped the trailer off at the drop off location (and took date stamped picture of that fact). He that informed me that my drop off location had changed and that I got a text message hours after I had the trailer and the drop off confirmation email? Indicating such. In fact, I never received a text message or any other notification, and already had the verified drop off location in the email. They, then continued to tell me that if I did not go to the location I dropped it off at picked up the trailer and took it across edmonton, to a different location that I would be charged $300 for not taking it to the correct location. He was extraordinarily rude and inconsiderate, as I tried to explain to him that this was the actual drop off location that I used, i was looking at the email as we spoke. He then continued to tell me that he did not care what I thought, he was going to charge me the $300 regardless, If I did not do what he said and went to pick up the trailer. I asked to speak to his manager who was much more willing to discuss this and told me all I needed to do was call the scheduling office for uhaul and have the location changed. I still thought that this was extraordinarily weird, seeing as how I had the confirmation of the drop off location and that's where I took the trailer. However, I felt that this was an easy option to get this taken care of, so I called the scheduling office and spoke to an agent. After some time trying to explain that the email that I had actually was where I dropped the trailer off at, she said, she would look into it and give me a call back in a couple hours. I did not receive a response back from her for over a week. Until yesterday, when another uhaul associate called me asking where the trailer was. Needless to say, I was extraordinarily frustrated with this, however, the associate I spoke to was very helpful and got things dealt with in short order. This is absolutely ridiculous.The first associate, I spoke to who was threatening me, should not have his job. If he would like to call me and have a discussion about it, I'd be glad too. This is one absolutely disgusted customer, a company that's been around as long as uhaul, should have people in place that can actually deal with problems and not just be arrogant ignorant human beings.

Dispatching error caused a hassle, had the truck booked for 24 hours and was told upon return I was late and was going to be charged for it. However I had the truck returned 3 hours before I needed too. Created extra hurdles for me to jump through to avoid a late charge in an already stressful time moving. Highly suggest getting the system sorted out as that made for a poor experience and will definitely be notifying other people of this issue

Absolutely horrible. I was supposed to pick up near my place and the day before you moved me to a location 30+ minutes from my house. Your customer service on the phone was very poor also. I waited for over an hour on hold before being told there was nothing that could be done.

We understand she has a business there, but Uhaul customers take a back seat. This is a busy store and even if you were there before another customer using the business she stops helping you. The lady was also very rude.

I picked up a 26' truck for a same-day move at 9 a.m. The staff member was professional, but the iPad booking app kept hanging and wouldn't process the rental. It took about 25 minutes and a call for support to complete, which held up the other customers waiting in line. I'd reserved 12 furniture blankets more than two weeks ahead but was only given 6, since that was all the location had on hand. The rest were removed from the order on the day of the move. Reserving well in advance didn't guarantee the equipment was actually available, and having the gear ready on pickup day is what matters most. The truck cab was also dirty on pickup, and the seat belt worked but didn't retract properly. To improve for the next customer: a more reliable booking system, better inventory tracking against confirmed reservations, and a quick cab cleaning between rentals would make a real difference. Please also review blanket billing, as I was charged for 12 after receiving only 6 and returning those 6.

When I went to pick up my original booking from this location the pick location and time where changed with out any notification from uhaul, which didnt work for me. The person was able to accommodate me with another rental that was bigger.

Rental location is a busy gas station/convenience store, U-haul customers have to compete for attention with gas/store customers, delaying the check-in process. The truck was not clean, windshield was covered in bug debris. Also, U-haul changing my pick-up location further way from where I agreed to rent cost me additional $$, should not do this when you're charging by the mileage.

The U in U haul means you load your own blankets and trolly. U park it back where you got it. U try to put enough gas in that you will use but not overfill. The rates are reasonable but be prepared to do most of the work … which I guess is the basic idea.

The location is very dirty, hard to understand staff member. Next to no fuel was in the vehicle. There was garbage in the vehicles interior.

There was no U-haul staff available. The only person there was the gas station cashier, and he said there was no one who could help me drop off the trailer. I had to do everything by myself and almost broke my finger. I also hurt my back. It was a terrible experience.

Booked a trailer via the uHaul app at a location that was a combined gas station and uHaul station. When I arrived the teller could not locate my reservation, she had me step aside to take many other gas station customers while I stood patiently waiting even though I was there first. Then there was issues with their iPad trying to complete the rental. I was finally assigned my trailer number and drove to the lot to hook up. The trailers was absolutely covered in mud and the box of the trailer was full of mud and trash. I also noticed there was significant damage to the pin lock on the trailer ramp. Aside from the rental experience and condition of the trailer the trailer operated as it should, the tires were in decent condition and the lights were all operational. As a person who rents uHauls regularly I will not return to this specific location again.

We had problems during check out..The gentleman we were dealing with was awesome but the uhaul program was giving us a problem. When we were ready to go to the vehicle we had to go search for the vehicle. We were only told it was out there. The parking lot was very unsafe. It was not cleared properly. We needed to take photos of the vehicle. This was difficult ....with uneven ground because of the pour plowing job. The vehicle was not prepped for our use. While moving we ran into problems and an emergency...which put us behind in schedule. I tried to extend our time on the app...it wouldn't let me. The store was closed so I couldn't contact them. I couldn't return it....because of this I ended up paying double of what I planned. When we tried to open the back door it was frozen shut. I would say that this was our worst experience with uhaul.

The equipment was well maintained but not cleaned (to be fare it was - 30C). Once assigned a trailer, there was no help offered. I had to ask for help to lift the trailer onto the hitch as way to heavy for one person to do alone. Luckily I have trailer experience and know how to hook up because again stay didn't know got to do anything.

The drop off location parking lot was 100% unsafe as it was totally covered in ice with no maintenance done for the entire winter. Causing me a difficult time to park safely. Place u it safely. I will not return there or suggest others to rent there as in safe and no assistant. No same. No salt. Terrible

Absolutely terrible experience! The staff had no idea what they were doing and tried to sell me services I never asked for. It took almost TWO HOURS just to get a key for a reservation I already had. One location was completely shut down even though the website said it was open, and the second location didn’t bother to help at all. I wasted money on taxis, showed up late to an important appointment, and got treated like I was the problem. This is unacceptable. Easily one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.

Make more room near the loading ramps for people trying to back in for building B. When there's a truck in the one spot loading or u loading there is not enough room to back a trailer into the ramp area to load or unload because of the turn radius needed and there is either parked uhaul truck or trailers blocking the ability for a safe back in. Other than that its fine.

We were booked at another location Leduc Supreme Paint & Dent. Was told they are full after we arrived. No phone call or notice was given. Had the 26 ft which isn’t super easy to navigate in small parking lots and a car was blocking us from leaving to go to next U-Haul for drop off. Asked the kid to politely move and he said too bad I’m waiting for my mom. His mom was the U-Haul worked and the kid wouldn’t move. Finally ten minutes later he revved his car and moved after his mom told him to. Went to next location at Nisku Esso. Lady said we had to bring blankets in so we did. Back room was a disaster and communication was poor.

Starting a rental with a full fuel tank leaves no room for guessing the level. I rental regularly from Enterprise and and the vehicle is ready to go, no need to spend time filling it. The location is advised to have spots for the largest trucks to park that do not required 6 reverse and forwards to clear the parking space and leave the lot.

Provide the customer what they reserve. We reserved a 5x9 trailer and the location we reserved from didn't have one so sent us to this location where we were given a 4x9 which didn't accommodate what we required it for resulting in us having to rent another trailer incurring double the charges.

Absolute joke for service. Called me less than 24hrs to tell me my truck wasn't available for a one way trip across pronvinces. I had to pay for movers and my stuff was damaged in the truck due to me not being able to be there for the move. Then charged me extra money for gas after drop off after the employee said we were good. WHAT A JOKE OF A BUSINESS MODEL

Have the truck available that the Uhaul confirmation email confirmed would be at this location but was not. Make picking up the truck in person not take 1 1/2 hours. Make it so the uhaul representatives can change the billed amount to match the original contract $. They attempted to charge the rate for the 20' even though a 26' was the only truck available but Uhaul system would not let them change the rate charged.

Upon returning the trailer we had decided to drop it off at a location which was closer than its pick-up point. The drop off facility were not answering their phone, the next choice we had tried... said they do not take trailers, and upon arriving at the third one ...we had experienced that they close at 2:30 pm!!??? We had shown up at 3:00. So had to scramble to find another drop off facility before 5:00 (the closing time) for other outlets. Our drop off location was extremely difficult to locate due to lack of signage displaying it as a U-haul facility. A very difficult time for us in dealing with U-haul !!

Previous customer left pad lock on the trailer which I picked up. This caused unnecessary delays. The u-haul proprietors said it was not there fault as they didn’t put the lock on I contest they do bear responsibility as they rented equipment not fit use. The rental process was also very slow and painful for what should be simple

Drop off location was different for the Uhaul truck and auto transport, but we had to turn around and bring the truck back to where we dropped off the auto transport anyway because there wasn't enough room at the second drop off location.

Was a muddy pick up site. Exterior of the trailer was dirty Was asked to hook up trailer myself but was fortunate to find a u haul mechanic fixing some other equipment. He helped me hook up the trailer. Would not recommend this location for pick up.
