In don't think the people who run this location fully understand what comes with it. It's meant to be a 24/7 location, but It very much isn't as I arrived at 7:30 and they didn't have keys in a lockbox for me and I had to wait till 9:00am. Imagine if I requested the truck for earlier?? Then when I called the 1800 number she told me this WASNT a 24/7 location. So definitely some things that need to be worked out on uhauls side.David E.

Lies. First I had to drive one hour 10 minutes to pick up truck. Was supposed to be reimbursed for gas. That Didn't happen ????? I booked my truck over the phone at nearest location five minutes from my home. But yet had to drive to pick up point over an hour away my gas both ways. Maybe someone should OPEN there eyes. I requested to be reimbursed but all I got was the run around and poor excuses. Highly disappointed.RAY T.

Winter in Toronto makes for a messy drive. I don't care about the interior but clean the windows so that people that don't normally rent vans or trucks can actually see around them. The side windows were so dirty, you couldn't even barely see the mirrors.Alex N.

Worst experience with Uhaul ever, I booked a 15' truck with two more than 2 weeks in advance, I got to this location to do the pick-up at 7:50 my reservation was at 8am, I couldn't do the mobile pick-up, so I called Uhaul, they told me the previous customer was late and the truck was not available, so they offered me a 10' truck at my location or a 15' in Scarborough, literary 30min away from me, no more 15' trucks available on the whole GTA???????. This is ridiculous, I was moving out from Mississauga so I didn't take the 15' truck in Scarborough, instead I took the 10' truck to move all my stuff, of course the truck was so tiny that I had to do two trips, and I got charge $90 for milage, even though it was not my fault that I had to do two trips. Plus, gas that is $1.600/L. I am so mad with Uhaul right now, I expended $170 to move out from Mississauga to North York just because Uhaul change my truck from a 15' to a 10' on the last minute. The vehicle was covered by snow. I had to bring my own cleaning stuff to be able to clean windows and drive. Back, side and front windows were fully covered by snow. After I started driving the vehicle, I found that there is NO window washer fluid. This was not pleasant drive. When I returned the vehicle, the rental pick-up personnel said I should have filled the washer fluid, and they would reimburse the cost. I was not too happy about all this.NENAD K.

I tried to call a few days before to make sure I had a truck. I got hung up on multiple times so I just gave up and just waited until the day came. Front desk is unprofessional, has attitude and is not well kept, looks like she just rolled out of bed. Store looks a front to me but that's besides the point. I find u haul locations are all like this but this one is worse. Will not recommend to anyone and will not be using this service anymore.SHANNONMARGARET P.

I had many problems with this location I was there at 5:50 but I could not pick up my truck till 6:45 but my time started at 6:00 . Will I drop the truck before 10 it was charging me for extra kilometers so I called the u haul call center ,there pickup the call after 45 min. There charge for the extra day rental without my mistake.Mohammed H.
Its not worth it to drive 14kms and use a 13 liters of fuel without using AC. And you should send the fuel level when start driving untill returning the vihicle, because you just send me the fuel level mark when i returned the vihicle. Because the last time i rent on the other uhaul branch theys send me a fuel level from the start driving until i return the vihicle, but not in this branch. Its not acceptable to me.Ronald Erol A.

1. During the booking I was informed that that location would have someone 12:00-1:00, therefore I specifically selected that time as I was expected to have someone at the location as I had some questions about additional tools I might need. I was then presented with the chive of getting the truck with in-person assistance or through mobile, and I specifically selected with in-person assistance as that's what I was offered and that's what I needed. Upon arrival I was sent the instructions on how to self check in and pickup the truck, and when I arrived at the location there was no-one to assist me. This is not the first time that it's happening to me as there is constant misalignment with information posted on the website and the reality. There was a phone number placed at the door for any questions. However the phone number was ripped as it was placed the outdoor end of the door's window (probably done on purpose so that no one actually calls) 2. Self-Checking process incredible difficult. No information whatsoever on format for the postal code, province, phone number besides just getting error message â€œyour phone number is incorrectâ€, â€œyour postal code is incorrectâ€. I had to figure it out myself by multiple times trying to re-enter the information with different formats. No information whatsoever that my location services have to be enabled BEFORE I start the process instead of notifying me in the middle and then trying to figure out how to change it. No information Whatsoever on all the additional things you guys request. There was a PASSPORT as an additional requirement??? How would someone know to bring the passport if you don't tell them? Anyways. Just my incredible awful experience with the process of booking and picking up the truck (not the first time, but hopefully the last one as it looks like more options are appearing for renting trucks besides u-haul)ILYA S.

Previous truck renter was late with the drop off and I required human assistance to pick up truck. The super friendly stuff stayed past their working hours and were able to sort it. I am very happy and grateful for their service. I will use this location in the futureMACIEJ M.
When we rented a truck from the location, no one told us that we need to do mobile pickup. So when we arrived there, we can't pick up the truck till the location opens next morning. And we called to see how we can get a truck. The lady picked up the phone told us there are no 15'' truck in the area so we need to drive 20 minutes to another location to get a 10'' truck, and there are no dollies available neither. When we wanted to return the truck in another city, which is 1 hours drive from Toronto. the lady told us the truck has to be returned to the same location in GTA. And then the location called us saying there are no space for me to rent so we need to return to another U-Haul location. Horrible experience.Yuxiao H.

Not the fault of the location, but the U-haul pricing is confusing as I paid almost 100$ just for using the van for only a couple of hours. Misleading prices and non-transparent charges. Won't be using U-Haul again. On the other hand, the location and store owners are nice and accommodating. You should check out their store and warehouse as they sell a bit of everything!Ivan S.

This place handling too many business at the same time. So they are not really well aware of the integrity of u-haul business. Also, not clean interior, especially the storage bed was all muddy. I had a online check-in problem due to a bad picture quality and I had a temporary license on hand. The rep helped me to resolve the issues, even though it was already after normal business hours.Vadim P.
My online reservation was disabled because I picked up the vehicle 30 mins past the start of the reservation time. I reserved the vehicle for 20 hours. I was forced to call the U-Haul helpline so it could be reactivated. I was forced to wait over an hour on hold before being able to talk to a representative. It is standard practice to be able to pickup your car at any point during the reservation time and many people, especially those moving, need flexibility. I imagine the help line is flooded with calls of this nature. Other than that, the location and truck were all great and my vehicle was loaded with the correct equipment.Cameron M.

how about removing Self Service option for the locations with ZERO network coverage? We had two cell phones, each with a different major network provider, neither had any coverage there which is almost impossible in Toronto. But somehow it is like that and you still keep that location with the Self Service option. It took us half an hour to pick up and an hour to drop off. Also, it was all muddy in the back. The combination lock to access the key was very corroded and hard to open. Especially in the coldJoshua W.
There were several things that went wrong during my experience here. It started with the whole approval and pick up process via mobile, which I kept encountering many errors and then ended up calling customer service many times over and over again. Eventually it was all approved and I was given the wordlock code to obtain the key. The biggest mix up was that someone mixed up the rental vehicle that I originally requested- I asked for a cargo van that was parked in that location, but there was also a small truck. On the instructions, I even confirmed the vehicle number that matched the van, but the key location instructions clearly said: "back of the truck." I got really confused because first of all it wasn't a truck and there was two wordlock box attached to the building where the van was parked by it. I thought maybe that's what they meant by it, but no matter how many times I tried the given code, it wasn't working, so I called customer service, and on the first try, someone attempted to help, but i was put on hold and then they hung up on me.. tried the second time, and finally this lady helped me figure out that maybe that other truck that was there... try looking there and long and behold...... there was a wordlock box key at the back of the truck... and what was odd was that the given wordcode was already on it..(why didn't this person make it random after locking it up.. what if someone else came by and took the truck..) and it opens and the key was there.. wow.. and it wasn't even a key for the van, it was a key for the truck.. the agent on the phone also confirmed it and she switched the rental to the truck for the same amount and extended my rental time because I literally wasted a whole hour for this ridiculous crap that you guys put me through. You guys should have not even charged me for the full amount. This was REALLY RIDICULOUS. And to top it off, the two wheel dolly and the furniture pads that I also ordered was not provided.. :) I mean.. wow.. just wow.Sooyeon L.

hi worst experience ever. i was supposed to get the vehicle at 4 pm and i went within that hour to pick and waited for 40 minutes and they were not able to give me the details and said the system is not working, you cant take the vehicle. i had a furniture pickup scheduled for 5 pm and i could not reach at that time. furthermore, they sent me to the next uhaul location to pickup from there and that the systems are working in that area. i went there and tried to get the vehicle and they said they cant give me the vehicle too as the system is down. i waited for again around 100 minutes there to get the vehicle and that too on paper after giving my card and driver license info. at that time i didnt even know if i could get the furniture. i still tried to go and pick it up. and guess what, due to uhaul i could not even get my furniture. the people who were gonna give me left the place already and all of this hassle and hours of waiting and inconvenience on such a cold day went into vain. so so disappointed in the service that day. people tried to help but the system and everything else ruined it for me. i left early from my office that day just for this, deducted my pay for this.only to not get the furniture. i want full compensation for this and please work on your system and network issues. it is not affordable for everyone to have their salaries, time , fees deducted like that for faulty uhaul network issues.Paras S.
