I request a smaller trailer at a closer location. I was told I'd only be charged for the smaller trailer, it that didn't happen. This is not the pickup locations fault, but uhaul's website. A+ for the location, but the website was not accurate.Eric Jeffery B.
I was rented a truck that would not start and then told I needed to wiggle the steering wheel to start the truck because the steering wheel locks (needs to be maintanced) when I had truck loaded and ready to move I was not able to start the truck & sat for 45 minutes trying to get it started! This truck should have never been rented out knowing that the truck required maintance!! Worse experience of my life and I will let everyone know that I speak with! I have rented before and had nothing like this with the Welltown location in Winchester VA! NEVER AGAIN!!! i WILL LET EVERYONE KNOW ABOUT THIS !!REGINADAWN K.

This guys are amazing super friendly they always helps and answer any questions , my favorite place ever.. I used to visit the one in valley av but they are horrible , horrible service , slow and super mean.. But the Sunoco they are the best...JORGEALCIDES A.
Fix the issues with the AV trailer (It was clean but...) Replace the locking mechanism, it should never be that hard to turn and lock into position, you can clearly see where someone used a channel lock on it which created sharp burrs. Passenger side lights went out during trip. Convenience Store & U-haul store combo makes for waiting in lines.PATRICK FRANCIS M.

The box truck I used had a hole at the top of the box so I had a bed get ruined from rainCHARLESJACOB A.
I was charged for the cleaning fee however, I inspected the truck myself and picked up all loose items. The gas meter was wrong upon renting as well as the truck was not clean enough. Returned the truck in the condition it was rented. I even offer the cashier to inspect the truck in my presence but he said I may leave. Later I was charged with cleaning fee. My key did not fit inside the dropbox. While it was easy enough to walk into the store and the cashier took it for me, this might not always be an option for people. Some instruction on what to do if the key doesn't fit in the dropbox could be useful.Robert H.

If there was a uhaul sign or a picture of the key box in the check in process that would help eliminate lots of confusion. Also if there was a way to get a status of your truck the full 24 hours before pick up, that may help set up expectations. We arrived at the first location and were told we'd have to wait until the shop opened an hour later to get the keys.Julia R.

Inspect and clean the truck before renting it to the next customer. Also, the app did not allow enough pictures to dispute all the issues. I was not able to show the condition of the inside of the trailer. It had smeared manure and smelled strongly of livestock.JENNIFERTHERESE H.

The pick up location was fine, the online pick up process was a little frustrating. Once I arrived on-site, I had to provide two alternate contacts, who were then called for verification. With no advanced warning, this was difficult and stressful, because one of my contacts wasn't able to answer the phone. This should have been requested earlier in the process. In the future, I would prefer to go directly to an agent. The online process could have been faster and easier.David C.

The u haul that I picked up was super low on gas, had 26 miles of gas left in the tank. The cabin also wreaked of cigs. I smelled like them all day after using the u haul. Might not be their fault but it was bad.Grant L.
