This local UHaul dealership in Canby, Oregon, is top notch! They have a good assortment of vehicles. They're open 7 days a week. But most of all, they have capable, personable staff right there to help. This was the very best UHaul experience I've had in over 40 years of renting trucks for various reasons. I'd go out of my way to rent from the team at Northwest Furniture Outlet in Canby.

KEITH SWhile things are good currently, I am not satisfied with some past experiences. A few years ago, I made two reservations in San Fransisco for large trucks. After being assured more than once we were good to go, the trucks were not available when we arrived in San Fran. We then had to rent trucks here to drive there to return back here. I was promised two (2) $50 vouchers or refunds for the inconvenience. It's kinda funny (not really) those refunds or vouchers never materialized. Thank you very little U-Haul... DO BETTER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PHILIP SWhen I made the reservation online, I was instructed the download and use the mobile app to check out the truck. However, when I arrived at the pickup location, the mobile app did not work, after repeatedly trying to reload the prior screen and try again I called support number listed on the app. The customer service rep on the phone was unable to resolve the issue and I had to locate a real person to get the vehicle.

Vernon JWith all of U-Haul's expectations regarding use of the internet, it's strange that a reservation for a certain size truck made three weeks in advance suddenly can't be honored. Instead, I was contacted three days before needing that size truck to get a shock and the nasty news that I'd have to pick up the 26-foot I needed at a dealership 14.5 miles away rather than at the local Redmond Ridge facility where I'd seen a 26-foot truck very recently. My driver and moving helpers were expecting to begin loading at 10 am. I had no one who could pick up a truck earlier on move day OR the day/night before! Rather than create major problems for the truck renter, who is already going through enough stress making a move (In my case, with a recently broken hip) U-Haul shoulld have gotten the truck in Renton, WA up to the location of the storage unit I needed to vacate early on moving day, so I could get to my destination in a timely manner so the people/helpers could honor their commitment to help unload. I've supported U-haul in the past, but I'm very displeased with this last move!!!

PATTI BCustomer service was sub standard and immediately started out with "you're early and we don't usually service people before 9am". It's just a poor experience instead of "we'll be right with you" etc.
JASON GStaff was super nice & professional! The truck was great. We emptied my storage unit and were able to empty it in the home garage and return the truck easily.
GRETCHEN LMike was great, super helpful and was really easy to get in and out with truck. Truck was clean, zero issues and ran great.

Our truck did have some oil spilled by a previous renter, the floor of the truck was very slippery and stained a few items of mine. It looked clean but was not, we informed the person when we returned it.
