They were wonderful here I didn't have a major credit card but was able to rent a truck with a cash deposit. I will definitely use this location for all my rental needs especially when I get my credit card. They were really wonderful.

I brought it back and have a picture that says 5512 miles. They sent me a receipt saying it was 5518 which it wasn't. I also returned it at 12:55 PM(DST). The business was closed so I dropped it off in their overnight mailbox. They checked it in at around 5 which cost me another day. Not fair to charge me extra miles and an extra day.

Truck cab was very dirty. Dolly was rolling around loose in the back of the truck from previous user. Truck sounded like it was constantly on the brink of dying, particularly on start up. It would be great if they cleaned out the trucks between users.

This is a lawnmower repair shop......the guy was confused why. Would give the keys to his employee when I pulled in and his employee asked for the keys. Just doing as I was told. Not sure they know what they’re doing.

Undecided. I rented a utility dolly to help move boxes and the gentleman said he didn’t have one. The $7 was never taken off my bill after I had even mentioned it twice. Please remove it or refund it to my card. Thank you. -Randy

I am super upset with this experience this time. The truck was very dirty, especially around the driver space. And then, I reserved a 17 feet truck, I think I only got a 15 feet truck. I didn’t see anything showing this is 17 feet because the outside information around the truck body is missing. But I took a photo of the vehicle info to confirm later. But the most ridiculous thing is, the sofa cover should only sell for 3.95 and they sell it for 12.50!!! They are saying maybe corporate store sell it for 3.95 but they can only sell it for 12.50. Also, they don’t have the dolly, so I have to go to another U-HAUL store to get what I need. The last but not least, I told to return tank full, but I noticed it was not full after I was not full. So I came back to the store to show them a picture of the tank is not full. This is so disappointing. I will never come back again.

Truck interior and cargo space was filthy, the roof leaked and got all of my boxes wet, and they charged me for two days when I only had the truck for one.

Please have a dolley when you commit to it. Also, i was downsized because of over booking and nobody told me about it until 2 days before move.I could not arrange any alternative. I had to do 2 extra trips on my personal vehicle to carry stuff and pay for extra hours to handy men. I wish i had a alternative to uhaul. I would have cancelled this reservation for sure.

I return trailer at 8 am I receive email at 12:07pm so I just returned and I was charge 32$ more , call them they don’t know what they do . Poor custom service, find better place.

Better customer service. Also, inform the customer of any changes in the rental that they were expecting to pickup. I had plans depending on a one way, and called the day before to confirm it. The employee confirmed that I was good to go, but when I showed up, the truck somehow was scheduled for a round trip. The employee couldn’t figure out how to change it to a one way like I had originally booked, and blamed it on another customer not showing up.

The place is a dump, the people that work there are rude, the windshield wiper was broken and they still sent me down the road. Everytime I hit a bump, I thought the front end was going to drop out of the truck. Reserved moving blankets and they had NONE. Worst experience with UHaul in my lifetime, will be hard pressed to ever use UHaul again!

Location did not call to confirm pickup location the day before, but entered that the did in the U-Haul system. When asked about it, they cagily changed the subject. When asked about the U-Haul Reservation Guarantee, they cagily changed the subject. I had moving to do, far away from where my pickup was moved to without notice, so I didn't bother to stay and debate. The inside of the truck was dirty and strewn with dead leaves.

I would recommend based solely on location.This business doesn't answer the phone during regular operating hours. Only offers voice mail call back. Frustrating when someone has a couple of quick questions.

I will never work with this company again 1215 Irving Park Rd A, Itasca, IL 60143. The owner was not professional, lacking customer service, he was lying to me, and was trying to make extra money off me. I am surprised this place is still in business. I went to rent u-haul on 10/26 for picking it up Sunday the 28th. He quoted me price for $29.99 with $0.79 per mile for Sunday. Then when I called on Saturday to confirm the time for Sunday, he said they will be closed on Sunday, so I have to come take it that same day on Saturday. He promised to give me the same rate. I went to take it before noon, and I called the movers to switch the day from Sunday to Saturday. It was a hassle but we were able to. When I went to take the truck on Saturday, not only he said different HIGHER price, but also he did not print the paperwork for me and said he will email it. Good thing I did not leave. I waited for the email, and since I did not get it, I asked him to print it. He said it should arrive to my email anytime and I can go. I insisted to wait for the print. Then he gave me the printed version, and I went my way to take the truck from outside that was started already. To my big surprise the miles were showing more on the truck and less on the paperwork he printed(about 30 miles). I asked him to change the miles on the paperwork to match what it shows on the truck, otherwise when I return the truck, I will be charged 30 miles above what I actually drove. He said the system is busy and cannot do it, but he will take a note and change it later. I told him, I can wait until the system gets fixed, or when he calls u-haul to fix it. Total time I spent in that shop was probably an hour. In the mean time he was taking other customers. He then said instead of waiting, he will give me a new truck. So he did. And the miles this time were correct with the paperwork. I took the truck home and waited for the movers to come. My husband I prepared the last boxes. When movers came and opened the truck, we were having another big BIG surprise waiting inside - two huge grass mowers, which made our move impossible. I called the owner right away and he said I can come on Sunday(they were already closed on Saturday) to return it(oh wait, they were closed right?- Well he said he will have someone there to exchange the truck). Unfortunately movers had to go since there was no available truck, and I was not able to move them back to original Sunday date. So on Sunday when I went there, I had to return it, and wait until next week to do the moving again. Next week, because my husband could not take day off during the week, and because I am with two newborn babies at home. SO we ended up paying mortgage and rent for two places, one of which was unusable due to the moving hassle we had. We stayed with everything in boxes, and let me tell you, with two newborns, was not easy. At the end I had to unpack and pack all over during the week. Also this was extra $350 for us.
