The tires on the trcuk were very old. It felt like the truck had transmission problems.

Make sure someone is willing to assist with lifting trailer off of hitch. Attendant offered no guidance into a tight parking spot. Attendant only helped me lift trailer off my hitch because I asked.

Daniel AI arrive to pick up my vehicle I ordered a week before. I was then told my size truck is not available. Because I was on a time frame and had movers scheduled to help with my move, I asked what do you have available? He stated the larger one for 39.99. Ok... have no choice, ring me up. I finish up the move, take it to get gas and let it fill up till it clicks off. Full. I did not receive the truck full. Next day I have a charge for $189 on my account. I look at the receipt and it shows I have $35 in fuel costs stating it was 6 gallons short along with a $20 after hours fee. $60 in mileage. What a joke. I also hired movers for the heavy stuff for $175. If I was going to get a $189 fee to rent a truck to go from Streamwood to bloomingdale (20 minute drive) I should have just hired a moving company for all of it. Almost $400 total for a 20 minute drive. No call prior stating my truck was not available. No discount for the inconvenience of having to go up a size.. Improper charges. Just crazy. I've used U-Haul SO many times with no issues and this was just plain out wrong.
