The truck had issues with the tire sensor and gave false readings of an issue with the tires. These false reading caused many stops on the journey to check the tires to determine that all was OK.HAROLD W.

The store has an awful smell. The first transport was connected however the belt was not attached. We had to unhook and change equipment. Why was this equipment in service??? The second transport was connected. The person assisting with the transport hook up should be familiar with attaching the belt to the tires if they are serving as a vendor for UHaul. They represent your company which means they should have training classes on how to do a complete trailer hookup. The belt that was attached by the vendor to My car tires were completely undone when I arrived at my location in Hattiesburg, MS. I was distraught at the thought that I could've died or caused a horrific accident! My car is brand new and the rubber fender was torn on both sides however luckily it is what saved the car from dislodging from the trailer!! I am completely dissatisfied with UHaul. I have used you all before but this whole experience was a upsetting. When I picked up my 20ft truck, they didn't have the dollies that I ordered stating they haven't had them in 6 months. Why does the website allow me to order them only to find out on the day of pick up that the item is not available. I have very heavy furniture. Completely dissatisfied and My brand new car needs to be repaired. I have only had it for 30 days. How do I file a claim with your company for repair? 228-239-1108FALENA B.

Try to have rental truck closer to renters requested location. We had to drive 60 miles round trip for pick up. The Water Valley location assistant was extremely nice and very helpful.Clayton D.

The personnel at the location itself verbally gave me a drop of location, and then the text I received from the Uhaul number was different, and 45 minutes away. The verbal she gave for a drop off location did not exist, or rather was not a Uhaul rental/dropoff location so I had to drop it off at a separate Uhaul location found through google.Austin M.

Numerous of Dogs barking and growling when you pull up and walk to door. They're all over the store while you there but I admit the owner has them trained well Just doesn't think dogs should be all over the store because not all customers would be okay with that.Nicolette G.

I declined the SafeMove coverage and I was still charged for it and I returned my truck back on July 4th and I'm still being charged THREE days for only one day and after calling into support, I'm told I'm being charged three days because it was an EIGHT hour rental. I was never asked a time limit when I called to reserve and I said a ONE DAY rental. Will NEVER use U-Haul again and I've been using them for 10 years now.Haley G.

Original pickup was Hwy 6. Oxford, MS Water Valley was VERY NICE, but we were forced to drive 52 miles round trip because of being hung-up on and told Hwy 6 was closed. Your website instructions state a tow dolly must be inspected by Uhaul prior to use. The dealer didn't even know how to hook up a car. It was fine as I knew what to do, but your instructions and the dealers knowledge didn't align. Nice lady though and helpful. Also honest about not knowing what to do.Erik H.
The truck was given to us with MANY undisclosed but known issues. One of which even delayed our move. I won't go into a ton of details but the cargo door got jammed by the lever and had to wait for someone to come fix it, driver door sounded like it would fall off at any moment, tons of damage to outside of vehicle, radio didn't work, air knobs were whacky. Shifts so hard it nearly tosses you through the windshield. Just terrible and not even the location I requested.Tori M.

I've filed a dispute because I've been overcharged and I booked a 15 ft truck in Oxford MS and UHAUL gave me a 26ft truck in Water Valley 21 miles away with NO furniture pads. WORST UHAUL EXPERIENCE EVER. Will never rent from UHAUL again.Julie A.

May experience with Debbie at Water Valley pick was excellent....nothing else was. I was pulled over by police due to my trailer was reported stolen. After 30 min on roadside and frustrating calls to U-haul by the officer and myself, we finally decided U-haul was screwed up and just part ways.Mark L.

I am not satified with how everything was charged. I wasn't explained about they charged me $99.00 dollars for the truck and insurance and when we got back there was a mileage charge of $63. 00. I think that was too high to just rent a truck for a couple of hours and didn't go out of the state. Price need to be lowered!zella H.
After requesting a pick up in Oxford, Mississippi and flying into Oxford via a private flight I was required to rent a vehicle and drive with a friend to Water Valley 25 miles SOUTH of Oxford. This was a 50 mile round trip that I had no plans in making, had no desire in making and put me behind in schedule by almost 2 hours. I am NOT pleased.Mark W. H.

This location was EXCELLENT. My issue was with U-Haul reservation department. I was given a truck 40 miles away from where I reserved it to be it cost me about 60 addiitonal miles which equals $60.00. I guess this is the U-Haul way of getting extra rental fees. The agent (Teresa)that called to confirm the reservation was very rude and unprofessional. Her customer service skills were pitiful. Her only response to my concern that the truck was so far away and that it would cost me additional miles, "do you want the truck or not?" I feel that I should have been allowed some credit on the additional miles that is cost. But it was a situation where U-Haul had the upper advantage on the customer. Less than 48 hours from the time of the move is when they let you know your reservation had been modified. Leaving the customer no other options but the play their game.PHIL C.

I called the UHaul on Hwy. 6 in Oxford, MS to get my rental - I expected to pick up my truck at that location. UHaul sent my truck to the Water Valley, MS location. This delayed my move by over an hour because we had to drive 60 miles to get our truck. Not only did it delay us but it also cost me several hundred extra dollars because I had 2 moving men that I had hired to help with my move. I think the policy of UHaul dropping a truck that was rented at one location being sent to a totally different location is just very bad business. I was and still am very angry about this. And I expect to hear back from UHaul about this situation.LIZ R.

This location was great and did a wonderful job taking care of me. My only frustration is with the corp reservation system. It allowed me to schedule the pick up at a facility that did not have what I rented and I found out 2 days before I left that I was going to have to drive an additional 80 miles round trip to pick up the trailer. That was very aggrevating, but it was not the fault of the pick-up location!!!Mike G.

We reserved a truck for pick-up in Batesville, MS. We were directed to Water Valley which was 30 minutes out of the way and very inconvenient. The truck was very dirty and the "Change Oil Light" stayed on the whole trip to the exclusion of anything thing else on the display.MICHAEL L.
