She further stated that all the vehicles/equipment she had on property had over 100,000 miles. I’ll be sure not to rent from that location.

BRUCE WHITEWe had car trouble and was late returning trailer but we notified owner advance. Told owner it would be late Monday or early Tuesday and sh said fine. Went to return Tuesday morning at 9am and she was closed so she charged us for an extra day. We feel we need a refund for Tuesday. She did NOT tell us she would be closed.

Jim WesselWhen I rented the vehicle I said upfront we may go a bit over the stated mileage. The guy where I rented it said " no problem that is just an estimate". Well, when I turned the vehicle in A FULL DAY EARLY I was charged $95 for going over the "estimated" mileage by only 86 miles! I would like to see that refunded please.

Marla AdairI had a reservation to pick up a trailer in Oxford, MS, then a few days before my pick-up I was given a different location about 30 miles from Oxford. The day before my scheduled pick up I called the new location only to find out that they did not have any equipment to rent. The corp Uhaul rep told me to call a different location as they showed that they had equipment to rent and thankfully they did - Very stressful event having call around to find my own trailer.

She even took time out to call me and check on me since I was travelling almost 900 miles from Mississippi back to Virginia. It’s professional, caring, and friendly customer service like that that made me go back to the folks in my neighbourhood in Mississippi and tell them if they ever need moving services to go to Debbie down in water Valley Mississippi.

Rhesa HodgesYour 1-800-go uhaul number leaves a lot to be desired. I had two separate uhaul rental contracts within a week of each other, and there was cause with both contracts for me to call uhaul for further clarification both before the pickup date and when dropping off the equipment. I would go so far as to say that those in the upper echelon of the uhaul corporation have little or no experience of calling their own 1800 go uhaul number for assistance. As an exercise, I highly recommend that those in charge do so, in order that the system can be improved. On at least four separate occasions when awaiting a ‘call back’ due to the waiting time being in excess of 50 (fifty) minutes, the automated call back disconnected the call before I had a chance to speak with an agent, resulting in another 50+ minute wait. Across the two rentals, approximately 4 (four) hours of my time was wasted trying to get in touch with Your company about Your equipment. This is unacceptable, and I was not compensated for my time. I fully understand that your corporation is a busy one, and at peak times, it will involve a wait, but some of my delay was not during peak times, and this could be remedied by having more agents available to assist customers. I voiced my frustration with the pickup location manager for my second contract and asked if they, as a uhaul dealer location, had a special number that they could phone and get through quicker, and they said, “no, we have to use the same 1-800 number that you use, and it can be very frustrating, and sometimes the uhaul staff on the other end of the call are impolite and/or unhelpful”. I have other issues specific to my first contract that I would be happy to discuss, if a uhaul customer service manager would like to learn more about how they might make small changes to improve the uhaul customer experience.
