I was disappointed to see an additional charge of 10 dollars with no explanation. Was arriving before 5 but had to wait for the train blocking the drive.

DANIEL FTwo of the four tires on the car transport trailer were low on air. This wasn’t noticed until the car had been loaded and secured, at which point one tire on each side was almost completely flat (less than 25 psi). A mechanic helped us out and brought a portable air compressor to fill the tires enough for us to drive
Benjamin YWorst experience ever. My local uhaul dealer didnt have 20 ft truck so had to use another location. Lady was put off when I asked her to match the mileage rate. She claimed they couldnt cause its set by UHAUL. I told them I had rented before at better rates, She didnt match mileage rate but did lower it from 1.19 to .99. When i returned the truck, no one was there so I DROPPED OFF KEYS IN DROP BOX. When I got the bill I noticed I was charged a 25.00 cleaning fee. I called on Monday and lady said she would check into it and call me back. When I didn't hear back from her I CALLED BACK ON Tuesday. She said the truck was dirty and would send pictures. I explained I only used the truck to move a ladder, a bedroom sets and a couch. I asked her to see if she could waive the fee. She said she would check and get back to me. I didnt hear back from her so on my way back from Dubuque, I stopped to talk to them in person. There I met Ken Oberhoffer. I explained to him the situation and he said he was aware. Thats why he was out there and the other lady didn't want to deal with me. I showed him the picture she sent me and he said it was too late and that the money goes to Uhaul. Call Uhaul if I HAVE any issues. I told him I had dealt with many Uhaul dealers and I knew it was an issue he could handle. He said Uhaul has your money and deal with them. I asked him for his name and he pointed to the business cards. I took one and asked him to put his name on the back. He grabbed the card back and told me to get out. I went to grab another card and he chased me out of the building telling me ''Dont ever come back. Boy". I'm 60 years old and have never been treated like this before. Especially by a UHUAL dealer. Obviously Uhaul is not his main business and maybe they can talk, threaten and treat their towing customers this way, but its not what I have grown accustomed to from UHAUL. I expect someone to call me back @ 815-353-6069

John RMake sure the representative tells the renter if they are late to the after hours pickup they will have to call Uhaul to reset the pick up my truck time or there will NOT be an option to get their truck. Also, make sure the representative immediately refunds any charges when they call to say they don't have the add on you are being charged for. I was charged for furniture pads the rep called me to say they did not have and would not be providing.

Justin NMy trailer had obviously seen some hard use with time. The door was hard to open and close and the exterior decals were pealing.
GREGORY MOn the website, we pre-ordered moving blankets, they did not have a single blanket causing a delay in moving. We tried to leave and were blocked in for 15 minutes by a train just sitting on the tracks( I know not any fault of the haul place) but the location is horrible.

PATTI SCharged for 3 days when only reserved and used 2 days. Very helpful rectifying this, but shouldn't have happened to begin with.
Steve KI have been to other locations. They seem more corporate and way less personal. I think this is a family owned business where they value their customers and it shows. I would go out of my way to deal with them again. A+++++

DUSTIN PEverything went smoothly. I was impressed the the quality of the truck: clean, good tires, ran well. The only thing I would prefer would be for the trucks this size (20 ft) should have diesel engines. So much more torque and much better fuel mileage.

We were caught in a small blizzard and our house closing was moved to a week later than expected. I called Obies and by the next morning, the Regional Manager called me with an extension time--at no further cost to us! WOW! I cannot speak any more highly of Obies--the ONLY place in the Dubuqueland area to go for a U-Haul rental! Ken Resch

William FMy reservation was for 10.am...my truck was not available..I was.told i.would recieve a call when it would be ready..I waited over an hour and called back..still no truck so I had no choice but to get a bigger truck of which was the only one available and bigger than what I needed..put my move back over 2 hours which set everything else off..was a very stressful day due to it
