I didn't get the trailer I asked for. I booked a 6x12 flatbed trailer. I got a 6x12 cargo trailer. The error wasn't realized until I was in the yard and the employee was at a cargo trailer waiting for me. I immediately told him that's not the right trailer. I was told the flatbed was booked for someone else. So, after some discussion and weighing out the feasibility. I reluctantly took the cargo trailer because I was pressed for time and I knew I could somehow make it work. When I returned the trailer and opened discussion about the error with the man at the desk. I was met with bad attitude. I was told that it's due to availability. Then I was told to accept charges. I told them to hold on because I wanted to discuss what happened This is when the female employee piped in. She told me again only if it's available. I told her it was available when I came in to book and gave dates. So, I asked for some kind of compensation for the mistake. I was told to go to U-Haul. That they are only a dealer. When told them there was an error. t I was told that trailers are always due to availability. I now understand that booking doesn't mean anything. It's obvious to me the employee at the time of booking made an error and booked the wrong one. Everyone was friendly and nice to me until I brought the trailer back. The man at the desk didn't care at all. He stood firm and said "due to availability. Sign here" So, basically, I don't care, gimme your money" The female employee who piped in over hearing just reinforced what he was saying. Questioning if I made an error in communicating what I wanted. And repeated what he said. I felt teamed up on. I got absolutely no empathy at all. They were both argumentative. Neither even considered that there might have an error. They flat out didn't care if there was. Going so far as to try and put it on me. All I got from him was the attitude that it wasn't his problem, gimme your money. All I got from her was gaslighting and excuses. Ultimately, if I was met with "I'm sorry". I would have accepted that. If I was met with "what can we do to make it right" I would have been ecstatic. What I got instead was I don't care Give me your money Get out. It's a small town, I'll happily tell everyone about the absolute bottom of the barrel customer service.

Zero worked across the country like a machine

The woman who works at this location was great, very helpful. But we had to wait for 15 min because there was another customer who wanted to go over so many different issues about her storage and all the recommendations she had made that were not followed up.We were in a hurry and there was no one to help her. We were finished in 3 min. But waited for 15min.

U-Haul online reservation system has too many prompts for optional add-ons, but Oceanside Storage was great - the vehicle was ready to go and the pick-up and drop-off were easy and quick.

Very good people who care. There was a lady in Fort McMurray who worked at Cold shot, her name is Vann. The trailer didn’t end up in her U haul yard but she helped me from the start to locate the U haul I was looking for. She was also extremely excellent.

I have rented U Haul assets form the team at Oceanside numerous times and my experience with them has been consistently EXCELLENT. I would not think of going anywhere else unless I had no other choice.

There is no way to drop the uhaul off after hours because they close the gate when they aren’t open.

The car dolly trailer was in poor condition, although everything worked. Emergency cables were in need of replacement and nylon tire webbing had damage to it.

Change your policy so that you can rent the same vehicle 2 days in a row, instead of having to rent a van one day at one location and then having to travel down to the next U-Haul to rent for a second day. I understand your algorithm, but it really does amount to nonsense when the U-Haul locations are within 5 minutes of each other. That was very annoying and inconvenient for the customer, it should be about customer experience and not merely parameters of making every dollar possible at the inconvenience to the customer

I have rented here several times and the lady (jen) at the front desk is rude, very disrespectful and continously lies about the uhaul contract. When I return the trailer (before 10:00am)the next day, they try to charge me for an extra day saying the trailer wasn't returned on time.The contract says I have the trailer for 24hrs. This isn't the first time that they have tried to charge me for another day. This is concerning as to how many other customers are treated poorly and being over charged on uhaul rentals. Where would the extra money that they are charging customers going?

Overall pricing structure felt misleading. I reserved online and was left with the impression that the rental rate would be about 50% of what I was actually charged. I do not object to the actual rate charged, I just wish the fee structure was more clear at the time of reservation.

There was no dolly available. I had to rent separate from an equipment rental company at considerable cost and inconvenience. Additionally mileage for fuel purposes was hard to figure out. Instead of returning the truck on full it was an odd measurement. Staff were helpful and friendly despite the quirks. Not sure I’d usual again

I made a two day booking. After pickup it showed as a one day pickup. After returning the unit I was charged an extra $20 for the rental and then an extra $10 for additional insurance. At the end of the day I was charged $30 more than the original booking showed.

Big hic up here I rented the Uhaul Toronto to parksville, they decided after all the driving across Canada , unpacking, that I should keep on going another 1.5 hours to drop off in port alberni . I did not parksville took it from me 5 minutes away!
