The 20 ft truck we rented was old and the cab was quite noisy - like something wasn't closed (but everything was). In “D” (drive) it shifted very stiffly and seemed to grind periodically. The shocks were terribl but maybe that is the nature of the truck

Beer bottles and smoked cigarettes all over the counter and floor. Dirty floor with maintenance logs all over the floor. Was not open at posted time of 9:00am. Smell was horrible the lobby.

There were issues with the gas gauge. This is something that should have been dealt with. Instead, had to keep filling up gas because it wasn't reading right. The place appears out of service, the store area is a mess (looks like its getting repaired or gutted), and you have to call someone for service.

I reserved for 0830 pickup. Day prior was told 1100 by them. Showed up at 1100 and no one was present had to call the owner for him to get one of his employees to show. Truck was good but the car hauler was missing the jack. So I watched the employee rigged something up, to only watch the trailer fall on his foot. He was in pain so he left to the ER. Had to make multiple calls to find a trailer. Not a very pleasant experience. Set me back a whole day in between a late pickup time, to watching the show, to getting all the equipment requested. Honestly something should be done to compensate or I will never use Uhual and I will never recommend to anyone I come across.

Place was disgusting. Staff was unprepared, person who helped me didn't even work there. He was just a friend of the person who worked there. Manager had to help me over the phone. Didnt have a dolly there for me. Other customers were waiting for over an hour before me. Could not believe this was a place of business

We were scheduled to pick the truck up at 1:00 pm, no one was at the dealership when we arrived. The dealership is a complete mess. I called the owner, he had an employee meet us there at 2 for pick up. After several phones between the employee and owner and the owner calling me to verify everything, we finally got the truck. Not sure why there had to be so many phones calls when we reserved it online. We were told that there was at least a quarter of a tank and to return it with a quarter of a tank upon return. I drove to my son's apartment, which was 2.2 miles away. After loading, and heading to his new house I look down and it says 12 miles to empty. I was furious. I stopped and put $15.00 in the truck, it then read 121 miles to empty. I have all this documented with pictures. I drove it probably less then 10 miles total. I have documentation of my final miles as well. I had trouble checking the truck in through my phone and had to call the owner to check it in as well as there was no one at dealership. We had it for 2 hours. It was an extremely frustrating experience. We have rented from Uhaul before, this was a horrible experience. I feel like I should be refunded some of my gas money and rental charge.

Uhaul was dirty, unlocked . This place was not open at 9:00 am , I had to call , an employee just got there at 9:30 to give me keys , locked like he came from the back and just woke up . Horrible experience .

The truck was not ready at our appointment time, but the owner was very responsive. The coronavirus pandemic is currently going on so the location was not staffed. The owner was easy to get ahold of and had everything we needed.

The employees were very helpful to me. However, the location is small and very cramped to get equipment moved around. This lot is also used to sell used cars.When I dropped off the tow dolly I had to put it on the property next to the location because used cars and other U-Haul equipment were blocking my way in. That's just wrong.

The business office was unattended, disorganzied and dirty. I called Mr. Oladipo who told me to go out the truck because the keys were inside and to just drive away. I was in a business suit and the inside was not clean. There was mud on the floor, seats and door panels. The undercarriage was caked in mud and the truck vibrated all the way to OK. I called him back to tell him the truck was in unacceptable condition and he offered to have his mechanic come clean it while I waited. I told him I pre-paid so I wouldn't have to wait and asked if he could deliver it to my house when it was ready and he agreed. The truck was cleaner, but still not acceptable in my opinion. I have rented trucks for years from you, Penske and Hertz and this was the most stressful experience I have ever had. It was simply unacceptable. I spoke with Brittany Wall and Marsha on the phone. They said all of the right things and Marsha gave me a $50 credit on my bill without me asking. Brittany asked me to send photos which I did showing the interior. She wrote back and asked if I could send photos of the exterior which I haven't done yet. An area manager should inspect this rental location because it reflects poorly on U-Haul. I will never rent from that location again.

The location is always a bit tired, but it was an unusual mess the day I checked the truck in because it had suffered from a flood the night before (due to heavy rains), and the power was out. The gentleman helping me was very friendly and knew what he was doing, but was trying to handle things on his phone because he had no functional computer system. He had been working hard trying to clean up the flooded office, and there was still some mud and pools of water on the floor of the office, It was obvious, however, that he had cleaned up quite a bit. I was able to check the truck in online, so we got it done. So, the location was struggling due to the flooding, and the fellow helping me was wonderful.

You advertise for military discount but guy told us they don't. He also stated that they would pro rate my fee if we brought it back sooner so we hurried and instead of the allotted 6 hours we rushed and got it back in 2 then he told us he told us wrong and we paid the same thing.

Both when I picked up and dropped off there was no one at the establishment. I had appointments both times and had to wait 30 minute to pick up and an hour to drop off, only to be told no one could help me and I had to come back five hours later. The business and the staff are extremely shady. The place smells like weed. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. I would not allow them to deal your product if I were you.

Crew there were very helpfull. Went out of the way to help me. They found out that I was scheduled to pick up a trailer in Junction City at 2pm on Sunday. This was 30 miles out of my way. They had a trailer at their location that was not rented and let me rent it. The trailer did have gravel and broken glass in it. Broom took care of this.

Awesome and friendly guys at this UHaul dealer. It's my go to place for buying moving supplies and renting equipment. It's not the cleanest or most modern looking place, but don't judge a book by it's cover.

This was the 2nd location we were sent to. We had reserved a truck online and when we arrived at the 1st location (Midwest Ace Hardware, Manhattan), they did not have a 26' truck. It was missing the oil cap. There was an automotive store right across the street - they could have easily replaced it. I had also called this location the night before to make sure everything would go smoothly. I was told to check my reservation online, and they wouldn't even let me talk to someone at the store.This could have solved the dilemma the next morning when the equipment we reserved was not available. We would have gone to another city (Topeka) to pick up the size of truck we needed. We were unable to move all of the items we needed to because the truck was smaller. At the 2nd location, the building was run down and dirty. When we picked up the 20' truck that we had to settle for, there was a huge bolt in the front tire and the front bumper was coming off. The person was helpful and friendly, but that's about it.

Have the computer system set up correctly and person properly trained. The u haul interface system had troubles with myself and the employees during reservation and drop off.

For starters you can provide a JACK if you're unwilling to keep the trailer elevated to hitch. Also the break lights didn't work and we almost got a citation. Terrible experience finding a jack to hitch the trailer to the truck, cost an awful lot of valuable moving time. Very unsatisfied and still haven't heard back regarding my refund request.

My original location was at Ace Hardware across the street from this location for a reason. My friend had to pick up at Oladipo & it took forever. My experience was similar. The man working was alone & trying to answer the phone as well as help guests coming in to the location. I waited for a very long time. Then the lights on the trailer wouldn't work. After a few troubleshooting options he determined that it was an issue with the wiring on my truck. I then had to go to 4 different auto repair places to find someone that could repair the wiring and fuses. And when I returned to the Oladipo location the man working was GONE!! I waited for about 30-45 mins before contacting someone at Ace Hardware (my original pickup location across the street) & someone there was able to come over & help me connect the trailer. They checked to make sure all the lights were working properly & I left with the trailer because luckily I had already paid & signed my contract. I continued to call The man working at Oladipo to let him know what I did with the trailer & the employee from Ace Hardware. He did not answer the phone or return to that location until about an hour after I left with the trailer. I explained that I was on a time crunch & that the man from Ace had hooked up & checked everything but that I could bring it back so that he could check it if need be. He said that wouldn't be necessary.
