Penske switched locations on me 3 times prior to receiving a truck. Last minute they cancelled saying they didn't have any availiable. I reserved ;my truck 1 month in advance and they still didn't come through. UHaul came to the rescue. Scheduled and picked up a truck within 1 hour, was moving my stuff 30 minutes later. Excellent service. We rented this u-haul to pick up our daughters wedding rentals. We needed everything to go smooth and this location did not dissapoint. U-haul was ready, a/c worked great and fit all of our rentals from A Rental Connection in Moorpark. We had a 50 person guest list for our wedding.Kevin T.
Initially made a reservation at a farther location and unfortunately got a call from customer service saying that the cargo van was not going to be ready at that location instead they found a more convenient location to pick up a van from and my experience was flawless and fast check in process would definitely recommend in the future.Guillermo S.
The â€œapprovalâ€ process took about 15 minutes. I had to reach out to customer service and at that point, it was approved. There was no updates provided along the way and it seemed a long time to wait without any real reason. In the future, it would be great to have that process take less time, especially as I was just waiting outside in the heat next to the truck.Kevin H.

It is a liquor store. I had to wait for all the retail business done and then I could get service. It is not professional in any sense. It is better to find dedicated service and knowledgeable staff. The only good thing is the location.HSINHWEI C.

Refund me at least a partial amount. I scheduled twice and they called me back saying they have to cancel. Then I rescheduled for 4 days later (I had to pay prorated rent to my landlord) and then they changed my reservation without telling me and then cancelled my reservation. Then they made me a new one and said I was gonna get 198 miles but I only got 138 and then I got charged $20.. like really? as if this wasn't bad enough. Overall a terrible and very stressful experience and I'm glad it's over ill never get a uhaul againJOSHUA M.
The person was friendly but stated that she had never done a return of a trailer. It took a fairly long time for her to figure it out as she kept interrupting my transaction to help other customers of the store.Mark G.
Cargo van was great and worked well for the move. I did bring it back 24 hours sooner than expected and was hooping the rate took that into consideration for my final amount but it appears it was only based on mileage.ROBERT K.

I would definitely not go back to this place, I rented a trailer on the 26th and it took forever for paperwork to get finished and am pretty sure I was over charged. I came back on the 27 to give them another chance with their 26' foot moving truck and the lady had given the keys to someone who rented a trailer earlier that day, only took 40 minutes to figure that out. I will definitely not be going back to this place. I would definitely recommend the Simi Uhaul, very organized and professional service. I was in and out within 10 minutes.Ryan C.
The Moorpark location was not what we would expect from this nationwide company. The truck ran and rode fine, very comfortable, but needed maintenance as the multiple idiot alarms sounded throughout the use of the vehicle. The hauler was just what we needed. Would have been much better if we could have dropped off closer to home, we spent money on accommodating the service provider. We will not be using your service in the future and we will not be recommending it to others.SCOTT D.

The van has been dirty inside and out for weeks. Also, if the owner is not there it takes 15-20 minutes for their employee to get your reservation complete by phone thru Uhaul. Aside of that its fine.Anthony Z.

Your online process is a disaster. Logged into my account 4 times and said I had no reservation. Finally, 5th time worked. Then when I dropped off, again, login said I had no reservation. Location host helped me. Technology is great - when it works. I wasted 30 minutes trying to pull-up my reservation both before and after.David B.

Instead of offering to help he immediately questioned us as if we were doing something wrong and didn't identify that he was from the store until after an exchange. I reserved via on-line the truck for all day. when I arrived to pick up the truck, I was told that I could only have the vehicle for 4 hrs. there would be customer waiting for the truck at 11:00. the staff did nothing to help me or fix the problem.David K.
Great experience with all things U-Haul, the staff at Reservations, Pickup Site, and Delivery Site were all excellent. Originally I had 4:30pm reservation at Budget Truck Rental, I showed up at 4:25pm and Pickup Site had sign on door saying closed at 1pm. I never received any notice ! U-haul stopped a potential disaster of our trip, and there is no reason to ever rent from anywhere else.Brad H.

I rented and paid for an appliance dolly prior to picking up my rental. Not only was the person behind the counter clueless as to how to proceed with the check in process AFTER I already did the online check-in, but this location did not have the appliance dolly I had reserved. After finally getting a representative on the online chat (while simultaneously waiting on hold), a rep finally gave me a different number to call. I called that number and was told that I could pick up the dolly I needed from another location en route. Great. I got there, but the ONLY appliance dolly they had on hand had already been reserved by another customer. Somehow this other customer's reservation was more important than mine, and the agent at the facility told me that it wasn't their problem and that I needed to take it up with the location I picked up from - which is ridiculous considering that location had nothing to do with my reservation because I booked through uhaul directly. I finally convinced the attendant to at least let me borrow the dolly for an hour so I could complete my local load, but then I had to stop at yet another location closer to my final destination in order to pick up the dolly for the unload. Needless to say this was an incredibly disappointing experience. Somewhere along the line I was told I would be refunded the $12 for the dolly, but as I have a million and a half things going on in my life and no time or energy to put into fighting with uhaul for it, I won't hold my breath.Justin J.

You changed my location less than 24hrs before my move and I had to drive 20 miles farther...even though I made the reservation 2 weeks in advance. What's the point of making a reservation if you don't know what you have. Also.. location was a dirty liquor store and lady wasn't wearing a mask and seemed confused I was returning. This pickup location was terrible. I went in and asked to pick up. The lady behind the counter turned around dialed a phone number and handed me the phone. Then I talked to a Uhaul rep who was clearly confused about what the lady behind the counter was doing. I will never go back to this pickup location. It was terrible.Matthew G.

Correctly charge for services! My original charge was ~$54.00 for a 2-hour/25 mile van rental returned with the same fuel level. After the 1-hour/16 mile same fuel level return, the charges were increased to $74.05. How does 16 miles equate to charges of $26.13?Mark Y.
Although the pick up is at a liquor store, everything ran smoothly. Staff were very friendly and love that we have these trucks here in town since you have to pay for every mile driven. Overall, very happy. No issues with the truck.Lisa J.
