I booked this trailer online without the safe tow amd ins but when the bill came in, they had added these two ins to my bill. My insurance covers me completely and now I have to fight to get my money back! No one was there at pick up time amd they had to wait. No signage so they had no idea what door to go to. When needed the trailer longer, they said we had to bring it back to get a new contract. Wont rent here again.Randy B.

The truck was damaged and the lady told us that it was done by previous customer and she is putting that in notes. As we were using U-Haul first time, we asked her specifically that if we need to do something or will there be any issue at drop off location due to this but she said don't worry nothing will happen and afterwards we have to wait for about one hour due to this issue at drop off location explaining things to people over there. My only complaint was that I rented a 6 X 12 trailer and had to manually lift it onto my hitch. It should have had a stand and crank to attach it to my vehicle.Tyler H.
They never cleaned the yard. We got the truck stuck in the middle and had to leave it there. Maybe in future when operating in the winter time, the yard should be plowed and salted according to weather conditions. It's not easy turning and maneuvering a 26' truck that you can't push!Kristian R.

I let's Auctions in Powassan is a perfect example of the worst custservice available. When I first arrived the young lady I had to talk to was on the phone conducting business, the biker dude that worked there was no help at all. After the young lady was off the phone, instead of acknowledging I was there continued on with a coy with the biker dude that was working there, she then did more work on her computer before even a koi was standing in front of her. When she finally decided to talk to me and arrangements were being made, I asked about blankets that had been placed on the order. They had no moving blankets. How can they accept an order without having what is to be supplied? Both her and the gentleman there were ready to give me every excuse as to why they accept an order and can't fulfill it to how bad it is to deal with uHaul. While I was trying to figure out how to complete my day, while personally calling every uHaul dealer on my route for blanket availability, the original office I booked through, the drop off location called to make sure I was successful with my truck pick up. Even though this office was closed for the day, when I told her I need blankets, she said I have them and will leave them outside for you. This was excellent customer service from someone that had never met me. The Emsdale location offered to do this for me on her day off, while the people in the Powassan location listened to me phoning to find blankets to be able to fill the order they should not have accepted. I do not recommend this location to anyone. If this behaviour is acceptable to uHaul then I will think seriously about using another service provider. Re-evaluate your fuel calculator. I put fuel in the truck. It was at 1/4 tank. Your calculator said 6.4l to bring back to 5/16ths. I put 10.66l in, and the Guage never moved off 1/4. So I was charged for 6.4l of fuel at over $1.72 per liter. Current price is $1.409 per liter.John S.

The self check-in process at this location took almost an hour to complete the verdi ist ion process. I don't believe this location is responsible for this purpose experience, how vet, the truck had used masks left inside the cab and our rental moving blankets where not left in the truck as part of our rental. Because this location only supports self check out, there was no one around to help us resolve the check in or missing moving blanket issues. We had to call the uhaul support number several times resulting in multiple hours being left on hold without resolving all of our issues. Again, i don't believe this is a direct result of the location, but i would not recommend a self check out option to anyone given the experience we had, couple with the fact that our issues are still not resolved. I feel if this location was a proper uHaul location, there would be staff around to help us resolve the issues on site.JARROD M.

Although there may be a need for it that I can't see removing the online drivers licence verification and just doing it at time of picking up equipment would be helpful. A lot of people like myself use their phone to reserve and that extra data although small makes a deference. Other than that I am happy with everything. Thank You..Paul B.

Amanda saved the day by securing our rental! We were NOT notified that our uhaul reservation was transferred from Arrowhead in Huntsville to Ollie's in Powassan. It took a few phone calls to sort it out but it was only when I spoke to Amanda that I was rest assured!Monique J.
This location completely ignored covid protocols. No one indoors in the location (I saw at least 3 people) wore face masks. That includes the person directly interacting with me. When I reserve the uhaul the reservation was made on pinewood according to the email I received. I needed to change the time of pick up so I called 4 times on pinewood park drive house of blu it's called and they never answered even after leaving messages. Then when I pick up the uhaul no one was there on pinewood had to call 3 different numbers before someone answers me and tells me the reservation was in powassan. House of blu on pinewood north bay is the worst service ever. The place should be shut downDiane T.

Terrible location. Truck sitting in a field. Tried to do the online truck pick up but terrible phone signal. Did not receive the 3 dozen blankets I payed for. Gave me a hand truck instead of a furniture dolly. Got that changed. Truck was rough handling. Poor brakes and lots of rattling. Not very impressive.
