Better communication all around. I made a reservation that was canceled because I arrived a little over an hour late. Thus, my reservation was canceled. While I understand the practice, I wish I would’ve been notified as I was told normally happens when this occurs. I understand staffing issues take place, but quite frankly that isn’t the customers issue. To try to compensate I was then able to make a reservation at another location (out of my way). Once I arrived there was no person on site to speak with. Again, I understand. However, this was an inconvenience because the instructions I received on getting the key DID NOT MATCH UP WITH WHERE THE KEY ACTUALLY WAS. The manager for this location is nowhere to be found and he doesn’t post a phone number to contact him. The number would’ve been useless regardless because once I did try to contact him (through another manager), he didn’t pick up. I ended up having to call around and was eventually given the correct instructions on the whereabouts of the key. I was given the run around for about an hour on a move in day where time was of the essence. I’ve been issued a partial refund after having to speak with several managers and passionately express my frustrations. This was one of the worse customer service experiences I’ve ever had, although I’m very thankful for the compensation. Thank you.
