The location is not the problem. Your online check out and back in takes too long. ( 15 mins each) you should allow people to start the process of checking in for a 7am pick up at 6:30am so they get the use of the full amount of time they rented the van ir truck for. Not happy with the parameters of the check out, check back in( the process sucks).

When I went for pick up the location was closed due to hot weather. I was able to call and talk to a person who helped me complete the transaction online. However I was charged a safe move fee of $15 which I had declined when I made the reservation. When I received the receipt in my email I noticed the extra charge and immediately called back and talk to a male individual who said he would pass that along. When I returned the vehicle and got my final receipt the $15 safe move charge was still on there. I need to get this resolved. Not sure if I call the location or you hold in general. This is my third U-Haul rental of a van where I was charged the safe move fee even though I had declined it and had to get it reversed after the fact. That's the reason that I wanted to pick up the van from a person and verify that I was not charged the safe move fee when I picked up the van.
Jeff II had to take what I would consider extraordinary steps to both make and confirm my reservation. The app was not especially easy to operate/ navigate.
Dan Preservation was made on-line. arrived at location (9 am sat, 8/1/26) for pick up and facility was closed. called a 1-800 number for assistance and Donna was fantastic. she called local area manager Mitch, who was very responsive (arrived in 15 min). upon arrival, Mitch discovered our rental van had not been checked in from previous rental, so he had to navigate that and then manually check me in for the van rental. He did a very good job, and handled it quickly and professionally. The van had not been cleaned, so it was a bit dirty, but overall worked very well. The on-line reservation was a total fail, but the people involved (Donna and Mitch) made the experience an overall success.

Wrong hand truck and blanks were all unfolded and thrown all over the back. Needless to say I am going to purse all available options to be made whole again

Dale SRequested in store pick up, no one was available. Had to call support and convert it to mobile pick up. Received instructions after 3 separate calls and almost 1 1/2 hours in the sun. Instructions displayed drop-off lock box instead of actual lockbox to obtain key. Cut my finger trying the code so many times on the wrong lock.
Haroun AThe 15 foot truck I requested was not actually 15 feet of usable floor space inside the truck. The floor space was a little over 12 feet, but the way U-Haul actually measures is from the front of the small space above the cab “Grandma's attic” to the rear of the truck. The floor space measurement should be the primary measurement used by U-Haul so customers actually know the space available. If this was the advertised measurement I would have gotten a 20 foot truck instead of a 15 foot which made me make two trips.
