I originally made an online reservation to do a remote pick up. I followed the online instructions and gave all the appropriate information. Upon my arrival, the online system made me go through a secondary ID process where they wanted a passport , work number or something else!! This cause much delay and stress. I then had to go into the store and wait in a moderately long line. The service representative was quick and I got the ball rolling with only a 25 minute delay. I don't recommend their online reservation system for a remote pick up at all.

Everything went pretty much flawlessly, and checking in online was smooth. I did have to wait a little while since it needed to use a secondary method to verify my identity (calling my wife). I wish I had known that was needed ahead of time so I could've gotten that done before I arrived.

The van was dirty inside. The employee was friendly but very busy with lots of customers, he was the only person working so I wish he had another person to help him. My link expired to review the van front, sides, back, inside, roof etc and provide the starting condition of the van, which was unfortunate.

Rental truck had items remaining in the cargo area. The cab was dirty. The truck had less than 1/4 tank of gas in it. The padlock on the back didn't work. The trucks wheels were out of alignment so bad that you could not see the speedometer while driving in a straight line.

Why do I have to physically check-in and check-in online as well? When I arrived, I checked-in online but still had to physically check-in with an agent. When I returned my vehicle, I checked-out with the agent thinking that was all I had to do. However, I didn't realize that I had to also check-out online. As a result, the vehicle was not considered returned until the next day, and I was charged 2 days for renting a dolly instead of 1 day. It was only an extra $7, but it was annoying and something that I shouldn't have had to pay extra for because of the way check-in/check-out process is set up.

Took over half an hour to receive keys from location causing us to be late on a pickup deadline. Truck stalls on freeway. After unloading the truck died and kept making this spinning sound. Gas was wasted trying to turn the car back on after sometime. Didn't stop for gas in fear of car not turning back on again.

Place the equipment in the vehicle that is rented via mobile pickup. There was no dolly or furniture pads, and since I did mobile pickup the store was actually closed so I couldn't get the equipment that I paid for

Very rude, would not let me discuss the rental and would not refund me for the unused supplies I left in the back of the truck. There is a 100% buyback guarantee... so they stole from me.

The truck tire pressure was low once I loaded my boxes and beds. The right mirror wouldn't stay in place. I couldn't make safe lane changes. It was bad. Luckily I have logged over 500k miles in my lifetime and an experienced driver. Anybody else less experience would have crashed.

Went to this location (further away from my home) due to equipment needed. When i got there, they didnt have half of the extra equipment i reserved. I could have saved time/miles if they were more organized with their reservations. Overall it was an ok experience.

My husband dropped off the keys around in the morning and asked if there was anything else that he should do, the guy at the counter just said that the receipt will be emailed to him after 12 noon. I called few minutes after 12noon 2x and it was a busy signal. I called again after 1pm 28 times and still busy signal.We decided to go back to sf uhaul and ask about my uhaul app showing "in use" and he told my husband that he'll do the checkout for us for free. He was very busy watching soccer. We were the only customer there. I asked for the keys so i can follow the instructions to check out on the app. That was the worst customer service. We wont be coming back in that location.

Vehicle was a little dirty on the drivers side when I rented it and had low tire pressure when I rented it which caused me to use part of my time to fill air on the tires. It would be good to have a some pressure equipment on site so staff can check vehicles before renting out their inventory.

I have to say out of every U-Haul I've ever rented in my life which is a good many this location is the best. It's small and the professionalism and warm welcoming you get it's just amazing. They're very helpful and straight to the point and always make sure that your rental needs are met in full. I would pick this location over a gigantic location any day because you really feel like you've been helped and taken care of in every way!!!! Outstanding service and outstanding professionalism in every way. Very knowledgeable and helpful!!!!! I will always come back if I ever need a U-Haul and you can guarantee that!!!!!!!

Don't charge people for days they didn't use your equipment. Look at your parking lot at least once a day and count your inventory of trucks so you know when one has been returned.

The manager of this store was unprofessional and quite frankly not the smartest guy I ever met. I needed a two day rental Saturday Sunday which is during the busy time, but I also spent a lot of money - $800. That's no big deal except the guy was rude and mixed things up. I need a few more trips. Won't be using uhaul. Get rid of that guy

For one thing, don't give your customers a filthy van - full of used blankets, with a quarter tank of gas. For another, your app failed to take photos forcing me to use the website on my phone. Furthermore, even though I noted and documented how dirty the van was when I picked it up you guys were trying to charge ME a cleaning fee when I said it needed cleaning when I returned it!

First location I went to the locks wouldn't open on the lock boxes for the keys. Your customer service was extremely rude and not helpful. Second location Cambon the guy who worked there is an all star. Great customer service. Friendly. Great employee

The we arrived only to find that there were no regular dolly's available, only the extra wide appliance ones. Was told this is normal and we should have known better and check with the actual location rather than just rent it online. The first van I was assigned was broken (broken hand brake, stuck in neutral). Thankfully the person helping assigned a new one, but I wasted a bunch of time in the process. A thoroughly unpleasant experience, will use penske in the future.

The steering wheel & ignition was stuck on our rental truck. it wasn't just the locked wheel. it was a big fight getting the truck started each time, even for the large grown men on the street who had to help us unlock the wheel each time. We should not have had to go through that. we were told the service rep was not allowed to advise or help us on how the truck worked. - location was convenient, that was all.
