ralph mThe truck was fine though the truck requiered constant micro-adjustments to stay straight and it wasn't windy. The staff were fine at pick up, though the furniture pads and doll were not in the truck when I picked it up. I had to move them myself. Not a big deal, but I thought they were meant to be in the truck ready for the customer. The truck was also only half full, which made it a little tricky at drop off tog etc it to the same fuel level. I overfilled a little, so u-haul got a couple of extra $s from me there. At drop off, they asked me to move the furinture pads for them inside, not a big deal but I thought I was meant to leave them in the truck and the u-haul location sort it for their customer. They also wanted me to reverse the truck right to a 6 foot vertical drop off, which felt unsafe for a customer as it would have very easily gone backwards off the cedge and damaged the truck. I stated my frustration, that this wasn't easy for the customer. The first person, an older man, made a motion as if moving his hand away from his mouth. I don't know what that means but it certainly didn't feel friendly or professional. I said I would park it though. I guess I was taking too long with the self checkout and the owner requested I give her the keys. Then passing me on the way back in, she made a comment to her colleague quite loudly that 'even I a women could back it up, it's not a big deal' which was unnecessary, unprofessional, ungriendly, and demeaning to women. It's a shame, I've had good experiences at other u-hauls. I won't go back to this location, and it will cause me to have a second thought when thinking about using u-hauls again.

tyler rThey over charged me, I declined the safe move protection and they put it on anyways. That was 15$ The receipt is for 140 but the charged my card 150. They are dishonest and a poor representative of uhaul. When I questioned the price he told me it was taxes. When I picked up the uhaul the representative was on a speaker phone call and did not take a break from it the entire time. Also the equipment was very old.

NIKKI KOrdered a van one month out (availability) and the day to deliver the washer & dryer to mom, no vans available! U-haul lady said that they get van pre-orders all the time but they don't stock vans. Tried to get pick-up instead but they were out. They suggested to U-Haul up the road (Pat's Citgo), but all they had were larger trucks @ $29,95 and 8.4 miles per gallon. The 200 mile trip took $80.00 of gasoline @ 3.42 per gallon and the whole trip was $368. If we had the truck that was promised it would have been half that!! Unprofessional at both U-Hauls. David AAs indicated the truck was on empty at pick up although the sheet was marked as the equipment having a quarter of a tank of gas. Upon return, the location operator was not friendly and used the sheet provided at origin to verify gas marking, which was incorrect, and I was given no gas credit. She was very abrasive and didn’t listen to my concerns. It was minor overall but unfair nonetheless. The location distance from my home at destination was perfect and very nearby.
