DONALD KNOXCommunicate better. Make more trucks available. I needed a truck in Conway, AR. First I was told I would need to use a different location in Conway. No problem. Then I was told I would need to drive down to Maumelle and pick it up (about 20 minutes south). Then when my parents went to pick it up, there was actually no truck available and we had to go all the way to Wooster (about 20 minutes north). Then we couldn’t find the key lock box — it was across the street and down two buildings.

However, the building I rented was leaking in the ceiling, and the moisture caused damage to a lot of my belongings... Clothes, appliances, shoes, and beds were all ruined... They are always full up so I couldn't transfer to another one at that facility. So I decided to just move to one in Conway, close to my home.

patty mcleanThis is MUCH more than a place to store your items. The Pattons are like the Worlds greatest neighbors. My wife and I first met them when we turned in a Uhaul after moving here. Jennifer and her brother did not just perform the transaction they took the time to get to know us. Later we asked if I could park my Semi on their property on the weekends. They went way out of their way to accommodate me. Their father watched over it like a hawk. He taught me a lot through casual conversation, and he had his beautiful trees trimmed up so I could more easily park. You are blessed to met these people. Cannot say enough good things. Lois MartinOnly human on site was Amos, who was welding on a big rig used for hauling chickens. Office was closed (3:00 PM on a Friday) , rental trailers and trucks were parked in a nearby storage facility. Amos told me he was quitting and this was his last day. And he didn't know anything about U hauls. I asked him where I should drop the trailer. He said right where I was would be fine. So I dropped it under an oak tree in front of where Amos was welding away. No one checked in or inspected the trailer. So I drove away, hoping the clock had stopped ticking on my rental days. Felt real uneasy about the Wooster location. But Amos seemed cool.

ROB HURLEYI've rented 2 uhauls in the past 2 months from Conway, but each time I've had to drive 10-20 miles to pick it up at a different location. I think Conway uhaul on Prince should have picked up the truck for me and had it at the pick-up location I chose. If you're going to have a uhaul business, you need to make it convenient for the customer!

Marvin BackyThey did not hook up the break lights etc. to the pull behind a rented and an hr away I was told about it and had to stop of in another town in Sherwood,ar. to get it fixed. my uncle is terminal and was traveling with me. This took almost an hr to handle. all they had to do was put on an adaptor to the plug on the truck. The place in Sherwood was awesome. Please let them hear my praises. I could have gotten a ticket form not having the lights hooked up or in an accident. And I feel this would have been uhaul's responsibility even though I chose not to get the insurance because this was not hooked up properly. I feel I need some what of a refund. And also I had to give my credt card info online for uahul to place the order for the pull behind. And I would like my deposit back of 50.00 The uhaul place in Wooster did not put the deposit amount on the invoice so I did not get my deposit back and she also could not get the computer to work to add the furniture dollie I needed also. so she just hand wrote the items number. I paid for that also but she was not able to add it to the invoice properly. I am very disappointed in Uhaul... Nothing but hassles. I wish I could get all of my money back. My poor uncle is dying and it was bad enough we had to travel but all of the mess ups went form a 7 hr trip to a 12 hr trip. My email is beach.time@yahoo.com I would appreciate a response to my problems I had. and luckly they were not fatal or ticketed. And I feel I need my money back for all of the hassles and my deposit also. Very disappointed in uhaul's standards. Thank you so much for asking how my experience was. Very disappointing.
