There was no check in procedure. No one checked on the condition of the truck or the mileage. We dropped off the truck a day early, but the contract wasn't closed out until the next day several hours after the deadline we had for checking in. We called U-Haul customer support before we left the parking lot to report our uneasiness that the there didn't seem to be a check in procedure. They were supposed to call us back after they contacted the facility and no one called us back. We ended up calling one or two more times to get the matter resolved. U-Haul says they have 72 hours to resolve the issue. We considered to finding another truck rental company to use to move the rest of our stuff.
