There was a drop box, but no attendant or instructions about returning the equipment. If it was on the contract, I didn’t see it. However, I received an email a few hours after drop-off with the final charges. Truthfully, I dropped-off 18 hours early.

Truck was not full, of fuel and was a total rattle trap. Brakes were dangerously “catchy” and the cargo box leaked on the 100-year old heirloom furniture I was hauling. Additionally, it was the first U-Haul unit I’ve ever seen without a loading ramp. Very bad overall experience that I would not repeat.
JAN PI tried to use the app to return the trailer, so I had no interaction with anyone at the site. When the app wouldn’t load the return location, I called the 800 number and it took 10+ minutes to get to speak with someone. The parking area for the return was dirt/gravel and it was raining, so it was muddy. It was conveniently located and easily accessible.

Danny SThe pick was to be in Boone NC At the last minute email sent me to Banner Elk to pick up. When I called the lady was not helpful and a bit rude. I didn't have a choice. She said it was only 9 miles away. NO MORE LIKE 25 miles away. Completely out of the way.

Herman SI was charged for 3 gallons of gas at almost $5/gallon when it was above the level it was at when I got it. Somewhere the documentation was incorrect. Also, no one could ever tell what difference 3 gallons would make in an tank that large.

Steve WThis a 2 Axle open cargo trailer with substantial tongue weight. I was able to lift it with difficulty onto my truck hitch ball, but it should have been fitted with a hand cranked lift jack. Other than that it tracked well and no other issues.

ALAN MThe truck that was assigned to me thru the 24/7 app was blocked in by other UHaul trucks, and the manager was late arriving at the rental site. So although I arrived at 9:15 for my 9 a.m. rental, I was not able to drive off the lot until just before 10 a.m.

I’m a really good customer so if possible can you refund to 2 day local, & I returned a day early. Thx Lynn

CHRIS WRented a trailer for one day. Was charged for two. Called 866-723-3060 and spoke with Katie on 9/16/2022. She advised I would receive my refund in a week. STILL WAITING!
