I rented the truck and literally went less than 40 miles and the location said I went 100 miles. The truck floor had a spill and was very sticky. I don't understand why I was overcharged. Pittsburgh s small I would have had to drive around the entire city 5 times to drive 100 miles. Unsullied told me they can't help but that makes no sense. I will be disputing this with my credit card company. That is ridiculous.Dannai W.

Be very UPFRONT about the cost of mileage added onto the cost of the RENTAL. It's NICE to advertise the 19.95/day, etc., but just be HONEST...more UPFRONT about the REAL COST. I ended up paying over a $100, 5X the price on the side of the truck. You got me..I'll know better NEXT TIME. But thanks for the truck!carmine H.
The lady couldn't get the computer to work. The people on site were not friendly at all no good customer service skills were used at all. They were all about the money. When I returned the truck the attendant barely acknowledge my present went straight to the truck looking to fin problems.karen D.

Someone was smoking inside the building. Reception very slow, the parking lot was packed in with nowhere to park. inside the facility was filthy. We were not shown how to adjust mirrors, etc on the van We had to ask for help just to get the van pulled out into a place that was safe to leave the lot from. The woman who wrote up my contract was friendly and efficient.debra H.

Pick up experience was unstatisfactory. This was a self pick up, as is encouraged on your website, however the location was not experienced in this process, nor did he know it was a self pick up order. Instructions on what to do when arriving at location was unclear to me, and the Penn Hills location. THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT AGAINST Penn Hills AT ALL but rather an issue with the self check out process. The location rep had to contact UHaul to assist with the order completion, and the UHaul rep spoke that was assisting the Penn Hills rep was very abrasive and unprofessional in how she handled his call. The customer service from UHaul on this call was below standards. Also I received NO confirmation call on Friday, the day prior to the rental before 6 pm as we were told we would need in order for our order to be confirmed. We contacted scheduling at UHaul on Friday and were told until we receive the phone call, the order was not confirmed. Unfriendly and abrasive customer service on this call as well with UHaul on Friday 7 July.Douglas V.

I would have gave them above-average but because I had to wait an hour and a half for somebody in the Uhaul Department to come in. online they said the shop opens from 8 to 5 it doesn't is from 9 to 5 and then the U-Haul people usually don't get in until 9:45 10 o'clock in the morning and my reservations were for 8 o'clock that morning so I had to sit in my car and wait which made me behind but besides that the people are nice and the van was cleanErica S.

The location was VERY convenient to where I live. The gentleman who inspected the van did so ALONE and while smoking a cigarette. He didn't show me where anything was in the van. I did the express checkout online to avoid spending time prior to leaving with the van and that was a complete waste of time since the other gentleman that did my transaction couldn't get the system to accept my debit card.Nichole G.

Before I got here i went to uhaul location on 2531 Greensburg Pike, 15221. The dealer at Greensburg pike was really helpful, the frontdesk on the phone made a serious mistake about our reservation but they were able to fix, Im grateful to themmehmet A.

The place is shared with another auto company, I am not aware of the business. There was no parking for the truck as the lot is overly packed with cars. It looked very suspicious I was almost not going to return the truck there.TONI B.

It's a pain when you reserve equipment to one location & then UHaul requires you to somewhere else (out of the way) to pick it up. Then instead of allowing me to return it to the location nearer to my house, I have to go back to the inconvient location. I'll think again before using UHaul in the future.Angela B.

We dropped off the truck on a Saturday at 2:30pm. Online, it said they were open until 3:00pm, but they were closed when we got there. We just left the truck and used the key drop. I can't really rate the service here because we didn't go in or talk to anyone. Everything turned out okay though. I would go there again.DENISE R.
The first 24 hour drop off center had tape of the box and a sign that said "this location no longer accepts uhaul drop off." I then went to Penn Hills Automotive and my key did not fit in their drop box. When I received my receipt this morning, it charged me 106.8 extra miles, stating mileage in to be 1982.8. I took a picture with my phone of the mileage at drop off and it was 1897.2. So I was significantly cheated and overcharged.CHRISTOPHER M.

The location was convenient for us to drop the truck off but it was very hard to get the truck into the lot. It is very difficult locating the place. Drove right by the first time. It got the job done but you just do not feel comfortable in the lot.FRANK D.

Equipment was not working upon arrival due to being poorly maintained and rusty. The equiptment I rented (dolly and furniture pads) were not put in the truck or included and were later subtracted from my bill. . One of the workers had a poor attitude and needed to be coaxed to help with loading the car on the dolly which was apparently "not his job" and some other choice words. We reserved the u haul over the phone and when we got there we had nothing but trouble. The truck was there ready for pickup but the rental information on the computer was totally wrong. It took an hour and a half and a few phone calls to get things right. We were on a schedule and it put us way behind. I was not impressed with the entire process, it caused more stress than was needed.CONNIE P.

The cab of our truck was filthy. Cigarette ashes filled the cab. There was trash in the pockets of both doors. Cigarette ashes and sevral butts were in the ashtray. The floor between the seats had cigarette ashes all over. The door steps on the passenger side had mud on it and up along the door. The driver's side had mud along the door and all over the pedals. I rent from UHAUL when I rent, and I have never received a truck in this condition. Will I rent again, I may check out Budget. I called and made a complaint with the "800" number and have yet to hear from someone. I do not need to use a contact form. With a review like this, someone should be getting in touch with me.
