Horrible the place was closed and I had to park up front where another U-Haul was the drop box was nowhere to be found and the terrible app loaded away just as I was clicking for the drop box. I used the horrible chat cuz the phone was making me wait 20 minutes turns out it was on the inside of the fence I had to awkwardly reach and straddle the fence to drop off.

I didn't have any problems with any of the location. My issue was with uhal(they change my pick up locations twice out of thin air.. I assume is because they have Régular clients that are their priority and gave them the truck I had already reserved at the Hollywood location.

Take close up pictures so that the customer can actually see the entire car. Don't put pictures that customers cannot click or zoom in, otherwise they will miss any minor damages that are already on the car prior to pickup. Or have the customer take pictures themselves. Pre-loaded pictures are wrong especially taken by your company or staff. Customer should take pictures of the cars current condition at the time of pickup so that they can verify that accuracy of the damages. Instead of verifying the damages with pre loaded photos from your website.

The parking lot and other businesses were crowded. There was no available parking on the street. We had to park in a NO PARKING area. Otherwise the rental process went along smoothly.

I had trouble confirming the reservation online initially. I made a reservation online and chose the phone check-out (vs checking out at the counter). When I received the confirmation it was to a different pick-up location. When I called, the first u-haul rep told me that happens all the time when you use online reservations. He told me not to do the online reservations and I should always call instead. He then transferred to me to someone who was supposed to help me, but instead I got disconnected. The 2nd time (I called back), the rep informed me that the online reservation isn't accurate and that it's only giving the user a chance to pick a “preferred” pick-up location, but the system would redirect to another location that actually has the type of vehichle requested? What?! That's like making a reservation at a specific hotel location (when it shows avails), but then the system redirects the user to another hotel for the final confirmation! I cancelled the whole reservation b/c the rep told me there were no trucks available in my city of choice (even though there were several locations showing availability online). I went back online and the same location I chose initially was still showing it had the type of vehicle I wanted; and it was available when I needed it. This time, I chose the “check-out at the counter” option. The reservation was confirmed. I was leery. However, when I showed up to the location, not only did they have a truck ready for me, it also was practically new (only about 3k miles on the truck) and with pads inside that they allowed me to use (keep in the truck). The location was great! They had my reservation and welcomed me by name when I said I had reserved a truck. I was in and out quickly. I would highly recommend this location, but I can't say I would recommend the u-Haul online reservation system or support reps. They both said the online reservations system isnt accurate. In my case today it was the service reps who need improvement.

Truck had it's cabin insanely dirty. Cigarette butts in the ashtray, dust all over it, spilled coffee on the dashboard. Windshield whippers didn't work and had no cleaning fluid in it. Horn didn't work, and I've only noticed when I needed to use it to avoid an accident. You've put my life and others in jeopardy.

Customers should be warned about the street parking enforcement for overnight parking. I was in the rush and didn't read the rules to double check as I was told that it's ok to park on the street. I remembered just in time that there was some restrictions and went and got my car before I was ticketed. But if I relied on the advise of your staff it could've been costly!

It was very confusing and when we arrived after a very hard move no one knew how to check in our truck. We were disappointed as in the past its been very easy to turn in trucks to rental drop off locations.

These little mom and pop shops should not be allowed to carry U-Haul trucks. So unorganized and since U-Haul rental isn't the primary business your needs are second nature.

when i arrived, the person who was helping me had no idea that i was picking up the uhal. he had none of my information ready. i ended up waiting for nearly an hour to get the truck i was picking up, which delayed our whole day of moving. this is just the issue i had at the pick up location. there were many, many other issues on top of that. i will not be using uhal again, nor would i ever recommend it to someone.

YOUR STAFF WAS VEERY HELPFUL, PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY. THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE OF PICKING UP THE VAN WAS EXCEPTIONAL AND VERY GOOD. HE EVEN EXPLAINED HOW TO CHECK THE GAS MILEAGE PLAN BEFORE BUYING GAS INTO THE VAN. EXCELLENT SERVICE!!

The attendants need to listen more to the customer My wife need the truck parked on the street in front and the guys there were more interested in driving her car than anything else. She repeated herself more than once and the guys there just were not listening. Aside from that the experience was fine.

Best Uhaul experience I've ever had. Every Uhaul location I've ever been to has been the biggest hassle on an already stressful day of moving. Whether its a line out the door when they open, the customer service people answering phone calls instead of waiting on me standing right in front of them, or not having the truck I wanted. Totally different here. Walked right in, guy at front desk was attentive, and I was out in 15 minutes or less. Highly recommended.

My experience was subpar and my issues twofold- Firstly, for some (never adequately explained) reason my pickup location was changed and I was not informed. After waiting in line to be told I was in the wrong spot, the lady working behind the counter took about 20 minutes to find the address of the right one (while other customers grew impatient), because apparently Uhaul employees don't have information about how their own company works readily available. I was needlessly late getting the van, throwing off my work schedule for the rest of the day. Secondly, when I finally did find the correct pickup location the guy working there tried to sneakily upsell me things I didn't need- I had already specified on the website that I didn't need luggage pads or anything to that effect, but he pretended like I had, and then continually pulled an "oh man, you mean you DIDN'T want those? I already sent the guy out to pick them up" or "now I have to start the whole thing over again." A scam as lazy as it is sleazy. I'm sorry, I'm NOT going to pay considerably more than necessary because some guy with a chinstrap pretends i'm inconveniencing him.

When you are in the business of helping people move, try being helpful. Hell, try caring at all. This location doesn't care about being on time or helping the customer. Made this the worst move ever. Thanks for nothing uHaul. Next time I know to use Budget or something.

When I returned the vehicle, I had to wait for a half an hour for someone to return to process my receipt. I guess not everyone at the store can do it, which seems like a problem. Also, I told the guy I would be back between 2 and 3 (and I was, 2:40) and he didn't get back til after 3. That's just bad business.

I did not appreciate my pickup location changing from the orignial request on line without any notification - I arrived at the location that I "thought" I had selected according to my online confirmation number - but the company (corporate) changed it and did not notifiy me - and this caused me more money to change my flight reservations at the last minute in order to make it to that "location" before they closed. Which I still did not know I was dealing with a "new" location - I just thought the web page had posted the wrong operational hours for this location.

Truck rented had very litl power driving over inclined of %5. At times i was only unable to drive between 25-35 miles per hour while other rental move trucks such as hertz, and budget passed me by. The truck cannot keep up with traffic and unsafe! What should of been a 18 hr drive took 26 - not good!
