My experience was first class. I will not hesitate to use this location again!! One suggestion: Having a second person in the store to process rentals. Other customers who came in the store for general purchases were kept waiting while my rental was processed. The same happened when I returned the truck. I had to wait approx. 30 minutes while another rental was being processed and while the employee had to wait on other customers. I simply suggest this because there is an easy fix. The employees who processed my rental and my return were excellent!Charles M.

They don't answer there phones and I had a reservation and the lady told me that my card wouldn't work..so I had to cancel that reservation and make a new one and pay online ...I have never had any other problems with uhaul except this locationTerry T.

I made a reservation a few days ahead at a different location. They had no trucks so they sent me to another location, they had trucks but were all broke down. Finally I got sent to the third location and they had a truck available. Reservation was pointless.Corey D.

Only one person working, taking care of store customers' purchases while taking care of my transaction. Charged me for gas when I clearly returned the truck with more gas than it had when I rented it. Took another 20 minutes for a refund to be authorized. Person was friendly, but overall, very unprofessional in my opinion.Peggy I.
We had tried to pick up from a local dealership that morning, and the experience was nothing like what we received from Ashely(?) at Pickett Mart. She was knowledgeable, professional, and a true help. She deserves much praise for making the process smooth, and overall incredible customer service!LEE H.

Our reservation (prepaid) was to pickup at a location (Cheap gas station) in North Charleston, SC, but when we arrived, the facility did not have the two furniture dollies we paid for, nor was there reservation system working. We then had to go to another location to pick up the dollies, and then a third location to pick up the truck. It took 1 hour and 45 minutes to finally secure our rental. I was given one price but give a larger truck and not told it would cost more. It was $10 more per day that I could not afford. Plus I had to move a truck to get to the one I was renting. I will not be using again since I was lied to and not told in advance.Dale H.

I went online to UHaul to rent a 10ft Truck and instead of being charged 0.69 per mile I was charged 0.99 per mile. I called customer service which got me nowhere. I am beyond angry at this price. Its a scam.Ella D.

Young lady was very personable and polite. However, you should never assume to charge the customer before verifying the method. You charged my credit card without asking if that was what I wanted or another method of payment. Not happy about that.DANIEL M.

When i called to reserve my truck i reserved the biggest one they had the guy told me he had one and when i went to pick it upit was a small truck and he said im sorry this is all i have and i had to start moving asap and then i put a $100 deposit down the guy said i would get back when i returned the truck welli had to have the truck an extra couple hrs when i called the guy he said o thats fine as long as you have it back by today and i asked him how much more it would cost me for those few hours he said oh it wont cost u a thing as long as you have it back before todays over.i said ok i just need it for maybe a hr longer he said youre perfectly fine. Well after i return the uhaul he calls me the nxt day saying i owed $129 for keeping it past the time it was suppose to be returned i told him i filled the tank completely up and u said i wouldnt be charged for the extra hour i had it he said oh no i didnt mean not charged i meant it would charge u also i didnt get none of my deposit back. The guy was a con and i will never rent from u haul again..tiffany R.

This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with UHAUL! After MULTIPLE complaints filed, I finally got a call back 4 days later. Not to mention I had to leave belonging behind because I was given a smaller truck than I reserved! I can't get those belongings back. HORRIBLE experience!!!Shelley S.

The online pre check in was useless. Basically had to do it all over again right down to the tag number of the towed vehicle.james M.
Workers had a real hard time processing check in and check out.. Need more training of the system.. Charged insurance without my knowledge.. Did not want it.. They stated they would have to call to get it removed.. However I could not wait for that.. Roaches were in the truck I guess from the before movers and not swept out. Will never go back to this Uhaul place again.Eric P.
The man who helped was kind. The truck was filthy in the actual storage area. The cab was like eating a cigarette- never smoked a day of my life. Horrid smell and residues. The truck was marked as 1/4 of tank only an 1/8 a tank. I was charged for the twice the miles I was going.JANISE H.

When we arrived to pick up the truck we were given a truck without mirrors it took over 30 min to straighten it out and get another truck. When we returned the truck there was an equipment charge added we did not buy or rent anything other than the truck. We waited for an hour for the store clerk to finally get the manager on the phone so we could leave. The next day I received a call at work from the manager stating the equipment charge was because we did not put gas in the truck prior to returning it. This was not true we actually returned it with more gas than it had when we rented it. The clerk took a picture of the gauges at rental and at return The manager was rude but did state he would review the pictures. I texted him later that day to see what the status was and he stated he had to ask his supervisor to make any changes. The next day , Tuesday, I received the receipt by email with the charge removed. I will not use U-Haul again. Horrible experienceKaren D.

The location doesn't have fuel capabilities, so the truck had a 1/2 tank of fuel, prompting me to make an additional stop, before I could proceed with my move. Given my circumstances, I was really pressed for time & milage. It was a small inconvenience, but worth mentioning.William H.

I will never use uhaul again, l will use budget from here out, we were quoted one price, and charged a different price on delivery, we had to pay for gas used but we ask did we need to put gas back in because the line hadnt moved and we were told no, it wasnt a problem, we could have put the gas back in ourselves, we have in the past, so we were lied to, if you make reservations and told one price, it should be honored, that what reservations are for, l know what l was told and it was soppose to be $111.00, and since they didnt have our dolly we reserved, it was told to us one would be given to us for free, so the whole rental was manipulated, l know what l was told....unprofessional all around, wont happen again...SARAH E J.
