If took me3 nd a half hours to pickup the truck. Was hung up on after a 49 minute wait on the phone with 1800 Uhaul it took3 more of these calls before i was able to retrive the keyv. And to get payment processed due to wrong verification code being sent . I ended up in tears before i left the place. The most horrible experience i have ever had with Uhaul. And will diffently be the last. And i will let everyone i know to use Ryder

I was able to use the app to complete the pick up, but the approval process took nearly 15 minutes. This would have been fine if the app had mentioned this long of a wait. Instead it just says please wait and nothing happens, caused me to ultimately abandon the process and go into the rental facility.

I should have asked about how to adjust the mirrors (needed Allen wrench?) Didn't know vehicle had speed governor... found out driving through mountains. Vehicle didn't have cruise control

This location is phenomena and I would always go to this location I will not go to another even if it is out of my way I will make it my business to return to this particular location the gentleman that work there are outstanding their equipment and their trucks are always clean and the customer service is outstanding you don't get that anymore so when you find somewhere that got good customer service you stick with it

Reservation was at 7am, got there at 650 but didn’t get the truck until 755. Key was not in lock box and had to wait almost an hour for the manager to show up. Had a deadline to deliver by 9 am. Got there at 930. I don’t appreciate people being late and for me to do it is even worse. Very dissatisfied with U-Haul this time. Was promised a credit to my account but was still charged full rate.

We had a great experience renting our Uhaul truck. The truck size we originally rented was not going to be available during the time we needed, so they gave us a larger truck for the same price. We appreciate their help!

I was charged for fuel when the needle was exactly where it was when I picked it up. You absolutely need a MORE ACCURATE system for gauging fuel.

They were closed for lunch from 12:30-1:30 but had 3 people working. The cab of the truck Had roaches The employee had to spray the cab and when I got to destination there were still roaches dying

The 24/7 use your moblile device is much more of a hassle and you have to go inside anyway to pick up keys. It does not save time.

I was charged for a dolly that i did not need and charged for fuel . I drove the truck about 10 miles , I put $2.00 of gas in before my return. I am not happy as I have been overcharged in a sneaky way. I would like my money back for the fuel and dolly.

I rented a truck for an in town move on June 2, 2019. The truck was picked up at noon and returned before 5 pm the same day - earlier than the scheduled return time of 6 pm. The next morning, Monday June 3, 2019 the facility I rented the truck from called and left a voicemail saying they couldn’t find the truck and we about to call the police and report it as stolen. I immediately called back, both through the answering service for the facility and directly to the person at the facility who left the message. He again stated they couldn’t find the keys, which I put into the drop box as instructed when I returned the truck. I asked if the truck was missing, as I had parked it back in the exact same space that I pulled it out of when I picked it up. The facility rep replied he didn’t know. They had not actually looked to see if the truck was there, just saw the keys were not in the drop box basket. I requested he go check the drop box again while I stayed on the phone. He checked and it turns out the keys were stuck on some part of the drop box door and thus had not fallen into the basket. The truck itself was exactly as expected and very clean. In summation, grade A for the truck itself. Grade D for the facility for nearly giving me a panic attack. Hopefully this was a fluke, one-time thing, but the next time I need to rent a UHaul, I’ll choose a different facility.

Name changed from Coastal Storage to Pinnacle Storage, this made drop off confusing as my GPS kept trying to take me around to Coastal Storage. Money should be refunded if dropped off early or with extra gas, as I would be charged if I kept it longer and if it had less gas.

Having lived in Wilmington, this location was not in the best neighborhood in my opinion. The office man was excellent to deal with. He was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. Just the address not the safest.

The truck i ordered in advance you did not have. So you offered me the bigger truck for the same charge. That was good, but when they charged me they got me for the higher truck price.

Prices seem to be very high for a local move! It would have been nice to see a break on the .99 per mile charge considering we are a town devastated by Florence and everyone has lost sooo much!

The location NEVER answers the phone or return MULTIPLE messages. I only had a few simple questions but it took days to get a answer. Also, the fuel level was so low that the first thing I had to do was fill up and because of the hurricane we didn't use any fuel and couldn't get any money back.

Upon arrival, Sylvester, the manager at Coastal Mini Storage, was pleasant and helpful. We completed the paperwork and inspection of the rental truck, however, he gave us the keys for the wrong truck and suggested we couldn't open the door. When he looked at the numbers on the truck again, he realized he gave us the wrong truck for our rental. We waited for him to get the correct truck that was located in a different area, and then completed another inspection and paperwork. He reviewed the gas level on the paperwork without checking the level indicated in the truck itself. Once we turned on the vehicle to leave, we realized the gas tank was less than what he indicated on the gas document. We had to delay our departure, yet again, so Sylvester could adjust the paperwork to show the low gas level. He told us we would have to fill it to the 1/4 tank level, get a receipt, then continue to fill the rest of the tank. He told us we would be given our money back for the low gas level when we dropped the truck off at the other location, as it was a one-way rental. The person in Columbia, SC, where we dropped the truck off at, said it was the responsibility of the pick-up location to have the correct amount of gas, and he could not reimburse our gas receipt, as Sylvester had told us. We called Sylvester with the information, and he said he would credit our card through U-Haul. Our card was never credited, so we made another call, and ware told the same, Sylvester would credit our account through U-Haul. I sent an email to U-Haul and Sylvester, with all the paperwork of the transaction attached, and more than one month later, we have not received our $30 gas credit! When we called U-Haul several times to resolve this situation, we were placed on hold for more than 30 minutes. This was our first time using U-Haul, please refund our $30 and restore my faith in your company.
