System was down when I went to pick up truck. . Clerk at store used her phone WiFi service was poor . Took forever to complete rental. Left 45 minutes later. When I brought it back it was same problem. Haul was down at store. Another 45 minutes. Wasn't able to pay balanced owed then. Balance emailed 2 days later. Had nerve to bill me a late fee 30.00.When you finally realized I had a balance it should have been paid with card on file. No you waited so you could charge me late fee. Your service sucks and its nothing but a problem.in renting.You stole 30.00 in a late fee that if your system was up would have been paid that .
Brian DFirst when I arrived to pick up the key was not located in the lick box, also the extra equipment was not in the truck and ready. When I dropped off I put 1/4 tank of gas extra, it was on 1/2 tank when I picked up and 3/4 tank when I dropped off. I knew there would be an extra charge because my estimated mileage was 30 miles off and this location charged me $123.00 for 30 miles that is supposed to be $1.49 per mile. It should have been an extra $44.70 not $123.00 extra. Probably won't be using uhaul in the future.
Malena MMy only issue with the entire experience was that we originally booked a pickup location that would allow us to stay within the 145 allotted miles included with the rental. The location was changed by U-Haul at the last minute, and while the new location was a fine experience, its location caused us to go over the allotted miles by 15, resulting in an additional charge of $15 on the final invoice.
