The interior of the vehicle we rented was pretty filthy and smell really bad. Also both seats were cover in dog hair. Very disappointing ðŸ˜žJuan G.

Fix your app, kicked me out of my order so i had to redo it numerous times. Make it so you don't need to check out with your app but that you can check out with a physical person at the counter and dont use the verification method that forces customers to recieve a link to take a photo of their ID.ARIEL R.

It took me about 3 hours to get the key to the truck. I couldn't believe it. I called U-Haul personnel and got hung up on 2 times. The app did not work for me for 3 hours. Currently the kind people at the San Bernardino facility is trying to get me a discount which I truly deserve. I personally will more than likely never again use this company. The trailer smelled like pot when I opened it up. Their is poor lighting in this area and me and my girlfriend did not feel safe. Very scetchy people in the area. There was even a group of 3 guys that were punching each other on their way to the key box on the side street and if was pitch black. My request was to drop off in a Menifee not in Perris so I had to drive even farther which cost me more in fuel cost and I could not get a hold of a live person when I called U-HaulSean P.

My husband picked up the trailer. I asked ahead of time if it was ok and if I need to change the reservation. I was told it was ok for him to pick it up. The person gave him a very hard time along with attitude. He was calling and talking to someone walking away instead of explaining if there was an issue. I was flying back in town when my husband called me. I called the Moreno valley location whom I had spoken to and they called the Perris location. He then formed my husband the reservation needed to changed to his name. That was ok but the charges was still placed on my card. I also ordered the smaller trailer but the location did not have it. I was told I would be up grated for the same price, I was charged the higher price. I was also charge for the insurance in which I had declined if before. I do not have a issue with my card being charged but if it was a issue for my husband to pick it up in my name but not a issue with charging my card.Ricky K.

The location is a broken down junkyard. It was a dirt lot with junk all over, I wasn't sure I was at the right place but I did see the Uhaul sign, otherwise I would have left. I've rented vans before and this was the dirtiest. The inside of the van was somewhat clean but the outside was filthy. I have pictures if you'd like to see them. If this is the only place to rent a Uhaul, I'll pass on the rental.Leticia G.
This was our first time trying to use a not in store pick-up. First after we arrived , I found out my drivers license hadn't been returned to me the previous day from a business. So didn't know how to change to my husband as renter. We were there prior 7am pick up time. No one seemed around for some time to ask for help. Then a man drove up. We waited some more. A man not in uhaul shirt or markings came out of gate. I tried to converse with him, he ignired me,, and went to the other man and spoke to him about a pressure washer he seemed to have, conversation appeared more almost a possible sell regarding. Wouldnt allow myself or husband in gate , altho we had been there prior to 7am. but took that gentleman, and as i tried following in gate, shoed me away. He vaguely with back turned to me,walking away said something regarding on line pick up. Ignoring my trying to tell him needed help. We had a third person with us who observed. I called uhaul customer service numerous times for help. At one time another man inside gate showed up. My husband tried talking to him, he ignore my husband completely and chained fence. The place looked like some wrecking yard, dirty, with some uhaul vechicles inside fence and on street. Truthfully when we first got there never would I thought it was a business. I've dealt for over 30 yrs with UHaul. This was absolutely the worst experience! Up to this experience, I have known only clean, organized , and well maintained facilities, courteous, and efficient employees. I would be ashamed having this kind of reputation tied to my company's good name. I told the person I was handicapped, didn't matter. We waited hours before got truck. With no help from on site men. Thank You big time customer service!!! Then too when brought back place was closed. We called well ahead,, no answer.. got back well before 6pm. I phoned to see if someone there first. I had problems with my cell phone checking back in truck.. again, Frusterating ...thanks big time again to those at customer service who helped us. This experience didn't even slightly at site come up to being courteous, professional, efficient, clean, or recognizing a handicapped persons request for assistance. It was more of a attitude of " go away lady your bothering me". I've been a business owner. I know Good Service, and this was appallng ! We had very limited time to do what needed with the truck. Needing to finish by Noon. The person with us had appts. He had to cancel as for not getting Help from your on site persons, so we could complete our task by noon. Rather delays due to no assistance on site, returned in late afternoon. Our friend who came to assist us too is a business owner, and a highly regarded community person. He stood and observed how we were ignored, treated, disrespected and blantly any lack of concern shown. Nor did employees care we had an unusual situation arise needing assistance. Never Again! I lost 45 minutes. At the beginning said that page was not working, I spoke with 4 different people they all help to their limit. First time renting ussing the application do not bad. I return the truck 1 hour 1/2 early plus the time I lost at the begining total 2 hours. At the moment of pick up the truck was not polish because was raining and I didn't washed because was raining at the time of return, I hope they don't charge me any extras because of that. The interior was 100% clean. Not bad ?? I'll recommend to a friend for sure!!Bernie M.
I was set to pick up my truck via electronic pickup at 7 am., with a lockbox on it. There was no lockbox on that truck, so i had to wait til 9 when the facility opened. So after being on the phone with traffic for 45 minutes it was determined that nothing could be done until 2 hours. Forcing me to explain to my client that we had to wait. They were not thrilled because thei disabled son had an appointment at a certain time, which completely messed up by not getting me to thebsite on time. After 2 hours i returned only to be issued another truck because that one was not checked in to system. The person was as helpful as he could be considering. Finally once move was completed i wasted another hour due to issues with the eletronic check in system. I tried on my end, clerk tried on his end had to call main number yet again only to not het any real time assistance. After a couple more tries it finally went through. So unfortunately 3 hours of my day was wasted due to truck/system issues, causing me to miss making it to my bank in a timely fashion. This was once of the most frustrating rentals ive ever had, and ive rented Uhaul regularly since 2008. The dealer was as helpful but his hands were tied, but somehow the process need an update. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER AT ALL!!!!!willie W.

This is a dirt lot and it had been raining so it was a mud fest. I did not feel safe in this location and certainly did not feel safe dropping off the truck outside on a side street and leaving the keys in a lock box. I had to go to another storage facility and traffic prevented me from arriving at 6:00, but i was told that i had until the same time the next day to bring the truck back. STOP ASKING FOR A RETURN TIME AND RENT 24 HOURS. I CALLED THE NUMBER AND SPOKE TO SOMEONE AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD MAKE NOTE OF MY SITUATION. UNHAPPY WITH THE ADDITIONAL CHARGES. I was told both the renter and uhaul customer service that after my purchased miles, if I go over, its $.40/mile after that. However, I was charged $.89/mile and the employee who informed me initially that it was $.40/mile, sort of admitted that it was true, but then denied that he said it, and it was all heard on speaker by u haul customer service, however nothing was done about it. I was never informed that an in town rental was .$89/mile after going over my purchased miles, better yet I was told by both the location and uhaul customer otherwise.
