GERALD M.There was sand on the overhead compartment. No big deal. I swept off. Everything went well. The fluid level of the windshield wash was almost non existent. Roads were a mess. I did get enough out to make to to my destination.
MARK R.Upon checking out the representative rudely commented on two sheets of plywood in the trailer and told me I had to dispose of them. I told him I'm not going to dispose of plywood that was in the trailer when I rented it. He then said he would not give me a receipt, and that I needed to drop off the trailer at another uhaul location or drive it back to where I rented it….which was 7 hrs away. He told me it was my problem because I didn't take pictures of the two sheets of plywood, which I explained, why would I take pictures of plywood that I assumed was uhauls wood left there to protect the floor of the trailer from all the ice and snow. I also assumed that uhaul checks the trailers upon arrival and before renting to their next customer (me)so that being said it solidified my assumption that it was their wood and that it was supposed to be there. And to top off the rude treatment from the representative within 15 minutes of my departure from the location I received an email from uhaul with a $79.00 fee for cleanup (removal of 2 sheets of plywood) Poor customer treatment!

Michael J.The trailer was full of snow when I picked it up. When we shoveled out the snow it was full of frozen dirt and rocks in the grooves in the floor. It was frozen in there and unable to be cleaned out when returned. Not sure if they are going to charge we for returning it dirty when I picked it up dirty.

CHARLES G.Door handle in truck was loose, and felt like it was going to fall off. At check in was almost charged more than my quote online, he said due to fees, insurance, and miles. I had already entered that all in on my reservation and was given a price, but he wanted to charge more. The facility was closed when I went to return truck, and the return my equipment app didn't work. It wouldn't upload the pictures or find my location. After 30 min of trying I gave up put my keys in the drop box and called Uhaul only to be told I had to return it online. Again said your online app doesn't work properly. Finally they told me they would note my account and I had to call the pick up site today. Just a headache after moving all day! Not a great expirence. Oil light in truck said 0% life remaining. Glad it didn't break down, the site said I could call if things didn't work, but he wasn't coming to help. Gave me a roadside assistance number to call just in case!
Cortney W.He changed for the one way drop off and not return ing to Hurley. ???? Not happy. Original wouldn't put in the drop off point. He said there would be no problem dropping off at the next location and didn't inform me of extra fee. Hayward location also informed me the the trailer had mixed tires. I said that's nothing to do with me, that's the tires that were on the trailer.

KENNETH S.I had to request that the attendant hook up and show me how to hook up the trailer and he never checked that the lights worked. I believe it should be automatic that the attendant hooks up the trailer, inspects the lights, etc.
Karen R.The owner was amazingly nice and great customer service. He was the first to tell us it's 72 hours not 3 days. No one said out loud (yes it was on the contract) that we had 72 hours with the truck, the gentleman here helped us with this.
