The truck was clean and did the job, but the truck has seen many miles. The backup camera didn’t work resulting in a grey screen on the rear mirror which in reverse. There was a warning message about the transmission that popped up halfway through the rental.. A loud ‘thunk’ sound would happen when accelerating uphill. The handle of the window crank on the driver side popped off while driving. One or two of these things maybe understandable but all of these things happening and I’m still paying full price doesn’t feel great. I’ve had much better experiences of as of many years at this location with these vehicles, but this vehicle specifically needs some expert help.

I was only at this location because the location in Putney who had a trailer didn't have 1. The right trailer in the system 2. The trailer had failed wiring. 3. The corporate office refused to bring a replacement trailer to the Putney location and made the whole thing my problem. The customer service representative from the corporate location was rude, interrupted frequently, and seemed to not possess the ability to listen or be constructive with a solution. I seriously considered cancelling the reservation. I also dropped the trailer off Sunday evening as was charged for the full week as my rental wasn't "clocked in" until Monday morning at 1115. At this point I'll probably go out of my way to find something different.

Zygmunt DI rent a U-Haul van every 3 months or so, and the gentleman who helps me there is always very kind. Also, this last band that I rented was the nicest one I've ever rented. It was brand new and the air conditioning worked so well.

debra mWhen we finally dropped off the vehicle after getting a new battery placed in it, the guy stayed after hours waiting for us to arrive to receive the truck from us. He checked the vehicle in for us so we wouldn’t have to bother with the app, he even brought up my original photos to prove a dent he found was there before we took the truck. It was probably the only positive experience with the whole UHaul thing we had.

STEPHEN JIt's in a recycling garbage centre that stinks. I was FORCED to drive there against my will 24 miles each way and pay $60 to get back to Bellows Falls, it's disgraceful your policy.
JOHN LAbsolutely nothing. The person who served us when we picked up the van was personable and knowledgable. We didn't have high expectations for the rental, but it was easy and pleasant from start to finish. I would definitely recommend UHAUL in Brattleboro without hesitation!!

CRYSTAL MUhaul changed the pick up location multiple times; the last time was when I was driving to the wrong pickup location. This caused delays ans confusion on my moving day. Uhaul also changed the drop off location to one further away from me.
