Valerie MTrailer pulled great, tie downs, electrical hookup, tires, all went well. This was a long pull, loading & unloading was easy. Have always had success with UHaul rentals from Trucks to trailers for over 40 years.
Forest AI arrived at 810 am. Website said they opened at 8 am. The location was not open at 8 am. I checked in to uhaul and found my truck. I could not get the keys because the office was closed. I called the 2 ppl whos name and numbers were posted on the shop door with uhaul written below them. I left 2 vvoice-mailsand texts. NNooneresponded. 1 hour and a half later I called the shop and a representative answered. He said he received my voice-mail and text but did not respond because he was feeding his mom. He also stated his shop didn't open until 830 even though his website and uhaul website said 8 am. When I arrived back to the shop, I was not greeted. I was finally told he would speak to be after he helped someone else. This was even after I said I already checked in and just needed the uhaul key. I waited another 30 minutes. Representative could not find my rreservation and even though I said I had checked in and paid he still said he didn't see my reservation. I even gave him the 2 names of the drivers. I told him I had a contract. He finally listened when I gave him the code for the key. He handed me the key didn't say thank you or anything else. He was rude, unprofessional and delayed mey move. I was waiting for movers who were just waiting on the uhaul. The rep did not apologize or show concern on his part. This is not a reliable location.

I was with my family, in Uvalde, for a 4th of July get together and my car breaks down, I am from San Antonio and had no way to bring my car back home. He too was with his family but he opened up his shop, on the 4th of July, so I could rent this trailer.
rosalinda lI don’t normally leave negative reviews. Since you’ve asked twice, here you go. I reserved a 20’ truck 3 weeks before needed. I drove 150 miles to Uvalde. There was no truck. The guy called UHAUL to see what to do. The young lady on the phone said there was a truck available 75 miles back in the direction I came from. A round trip of at least 3 hours. I asked about getting a large trailer. The only one in Uvalde was “in town only”, so she wouldn’t rent it to me. There was supposed to be an open top available in Kerrville, again very far out of my way and a long round trip. I had 2 guys hired to help load the truck that day. Luckily one of them had a truck. We ended up with 2 of your 5’ x 8’ enclosed trailers- which in no way, shape, manner or form equal a 20’ truck like I originally reserved. The incompetence on the part of Uhaul cost me double labor. To try to stop a repeat failure on your part, why don’t you contact the location a day ahead to see if the reserved equipment is actually available?! Then you could let the renter know before he drives that far and has to pay for helpers to stand around while we try to fix YOUR PROBLEM!!

Ryan HHad to wait 1 HR for customer getting informaation on a rental then when I connect the tow dolly and there's tape holding the ramp on passenger side. Start driving Nd the ramp comes flying out had to stop and tie it with a rope I found on the side of the road.

tara dI scheduled my truck to be in Del Rio 2 weeks ahead of time. It was not there when it came time to pick it up. I only found out due to extensive effort on my part. The location did not answer the phone for days, then asked me to text them from a different number without identifying themselves. After another day of calling they answered via text and identified themselves. This was the day before scheduled pickup. Corporate told me I’d have to drive to Uvalde to pick up my truck, and the guy stayed open to give it to me, but I’m not sure he checked the truck. The trailer lights were connected backwards. He had the truck hooked up and ready to go, but left before I did, so if I had questions they didn’t get answered.

Nichole HI had to travel two hours round trip to pick up truck. Place was closed and not aware of my reservation. Truck had less fuel than indicated. Some Equipment needed unavailable. Unaware of windshield chip (have pictures of truck at pick up location) Truck cabin was dirty.
Rafael Gno problem at all
Bob VI reserved the truck and am appliance dolly. There was no dolly and they didn’t have one. They told me to call around to the other 3 UHaul places in town to find one. I did and he was very rude when I got there. He tried to charge me again (I paid in full online), argues with me and finally called Ramos and they worked out a transfer of the dolly. I felt like I had done all the work in locating and going to get it. I was not happy.

Shanna HWe returned the truck and additional equipment Sunday afternoon to the Ramos Auto Parts location. The location was closed; so the key was left in the lockbox. Monday I received a message that the appliance dolly, furniture dolly and blankets had not been returned; and I would be charged for them. I drove 50 miles (100 miles round trip) back to Uvalde to consult with the dealer. The truck was parked with the back panel down; when he opened it the equipment was in there as I had left it. He blamed it on his brother; I blame the dealership. I was extremely tired from the move, and I was in no mood to drive 199 miles due to someone's total imcompotence. I would never use or recommend Ramos U Haul to anyone...ever !!!
