I used the online service and it seemed like it would be convenient but I ran into issues with the system glitching. It didn't become an actual problem until I was checking in and the last step of taking a picture of the vehicle location would not go through. I spent 15 minutes trying to resend my picture for it to not work and spent half an hour trying to reach customer service as the office of the location was closed. For something that was supposed to be a quick and efficient option, it ended up not being that way at all.Kimberly O.

I wanted to pick up at a place 2 minutes away, and did go there to find out although he had "ONE" I could not get it and had to drive 45 minutes. Okay here is the kicker I was returning that same night so after being told I had to go to the one 45 minutes away when I returning that one I still see the one sitting there at the two minute away place. IF I knew that renter was not picking the tailer up that day or it not being used that same day I would have said I only need mine for 7-8 hours but that was never told to me I guess I learned and hope you did to..TO let a person know "HEY IF YOU REALLY JUST NEED IT FOR TODAY AND WILL DROP THE TRAILER OFF TONIGHT YOU CAN USE THIS ONE." seeing the trailer still sitting there not used and I still had a 40 minute drive one way to go drop the one I rented really had me seeing RED and I was really pissed. I wish the communication was better and I could have been told the one I needed just needed to be returned and a leaser amount of time it really would have not been any issue. The place I did end up renting from where nice people and I wanted to shop in their little store front but there was an odor anddon S.

The lot was a little tight since there were many other vehicles there. The lady was very helpful. The check out process was NOT organized well. You should have CLEAR steps to walk through the process. Due to the check in AND check out process difficulty, I would NOT recommend uhaul as a 1st choice.Richard L.

The staff here were friendly, and helpful. I have no complaints with them. The person that rented the trailer before me was very late returning it and it did cause a bit of a problem. I didn't want my rating to reflect poorly on the location, it wasn't their fault that the person renting before me caused so much trouble. While the equipment was fine, and the perfect size, the overall experience was awful. Nowhere was I instructed on what was required after I called upon arrival. The U-Haul site said call when you get there. We had to take pictures, and navigate codes. I know the majority understands how their smart phone works, but I am a bit older and don't. It shouldn't be assumed. I will only pick up and deal with a person from now on. The lady at the R&R Merchantile was very kind when we returned the truck, and understanding about the trouble I had with using the phone for pick up.Allan L.

I have to ask a question: does uhaul not require the rental centers to be able to service rental equipment? This is the third rental center I have done business with in Delaware that is predominately an antique store type business. What I am getting at is that they have no real ability to service the equipment. This trailer was perfect this time but it came from capital Accra in Hartford ct where they are set up to handle the mechanical requirements of maintenance. Antique stores and â€œjunkâ€ shops have no expertise. If I were picking up there I would have no confidence that even tire pressures are checked.John K.

I had a reservation for a 26ft box truck which I could of moved in 1 load but the reservation that was done 6 days in advance was never recieved I guess. No one from uhaul contacted me regarding my reservation like they said they would. I had to take a smaller 20ft box truck and I made 2 trips instead. The second trip was only to take my couch and love seat and with a 26ft truck I would of had space left over. So that being said im charged for double the distance instead of what I had planned out. Not my first rental from uhaul but it'll most likely be my last. I have a budget I was trying to maintain and this did not helpJoshua D.

U-haul had no trucks available. This location did everything possible to get one for me but had to refer me to the national reservation. That was a futile exercise; the best they could do was find the wrong equipment too many miles away to be of any use. These smaller branches need more access to equipment.Robert W.

Close this location completely. I was billed incorrectly and it took me over an hour to pick up the truck. Incorrect billing, they didn't seem to know what they were doing and the hours are so limited that I can't even get me billing straightened out for 4 days. Pick up location was awesome, but once the truck got on the road some kind of nasty smelling rotten food mess slid forward from under the seats... we cleaned it up but ewwww..... otherwise everything was great. Personnel were very nice and very helpful and we loved the set up there!lyn T.
