When I went to pick up my U-Haul, The lady there was awesome. I mixed up my dates and she figured out a way to make it happen. She knew what customer service was and how to communicate. When I returned it, an old Indian (from India) man who had a sense of entitlement and was just an old prick served me. I asked him twice if he got the same reading as me and his answer was - YA. Through a mask it was difficult. Then I was really upset and he proceeded to tell me I should listen. Fuck Him! I will never go back there. I work in immigration and this man is just an asshole and should go back to India. After that, two younger people explained what was what. He sat there like an idiot. He should not be serving customers. I will not go back ever!SCOTT B.

This was my worst U-Haul experience ever. The person that was present when I returned the vehicle told me that the vehicle was dirty when I had to clean it because it was so disgusting and told me the fuel was at the incorrect level when I put more fuel in it than what I had to.JASON M.
Got the vehicle told to return it clean, it was absolutely disgusting covered in mud and dirt in the cab and back. Took photos of all the damages and the gas at which it was showing less than the contract said. Went and showed the uhaul employee before I left with the vehicle the photos of the gas being off and how dirty it was. Returned and there was a new guy on and tried excusing me of being the gas back low and was gonna charge me and I showed him the picture of when I left and told him I showed the lady that morning and he made me sit there 10mins while he tried calling the morning lady as he didn't believe me . I had a picture time stamped of 1 min after my contract started.Gabrielle S.
Better overall maintenance. The cab was filthy with spilled food. The passenger door had to be slammed with great force to close . There was brocken glass in the cargo area and the rear rollup door was difficult to close. That being said , the costumer service at the location was good.Dan M.

Online retrieval system doesn't understand late. It froze my transaction. I had to call uhaul myself and figure it out and get it fixed. The agents were not communicating with me about what was going on. I ordered a dozen moving blankets for the rental. It added just fine at the time of rental for that location. When I areived and was picking up my equipment, they said there were no blankets due to COVID-19. If this was the case, it shouldn't have even been an option on the website. It took me 45 minutes to check in when I was supposed to have â€˜seamlessly' checked in online. The truck smelled awful in the cab like cigarette smoke. There were ashes on the dash and it looked like it had been someone's work truck for a week without cleaning. Would not recommend again.Simon N.

We waited 10 minutes after our scheduled pick up time for them to open, and we're not able to leave until almost 30 minutes past our pick up time. For next time it would be nice to be notified about a delay in advance. Our experience returning the uhaul was great,Jordon A.

For EZ Fuel Sales was 74.63 dollars, it is too expensive. Because I used the car for only 61.7 mile. And I think the fuel needed could be only 7 gallons at most. The cost of 7 gallons could be 40 dollars if I calculated it by 5.7 dollars per gallon. Would you explain it ?ILGON K.

The truck was very old, back of the truck the roof leaked so our stuff inside got wet, the steering wheel was very bad and the truck kept wandering to the right, very hard to keep the truck travelling straight.Antony B.

Trucks service lights kept beeping saying the stabiltrack needed servicing. The box was covered in dirt and sand that I had to clean befor moving my furniture. Stunk like the landfill like somone did a rotten dump run and didnt sweep up. Staff at red apple were pleasant and helpful.tristin alexande A.

I have rented lots of Uhauls in my time, and this location has far been the best expierence that I have encountered. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. No issue whatsoever. I will definitely rent a Uhaul from this location again!Jessica M.
We were harrassed and threatened with them calling it in stolen within first 8hrs of renting the truck because THEY overbooked. When rented i specifically told them 24hrs atleast,they failed to add in their notes or database. When we returned the truck we were over charged and treated terribly after numerous apologies from each of us ad we were busy moving and not glued to our phones when she saw fit. I made sure to give them updates as to where we were at in our move and she continued to argue and threaten extra charges ontop of what she had already charged us. I will never use this service or location nor would i recommend it to anyone in the future. It was the move from hell and main cause of stress was dealing with these owners/employees of the red apple food store in abbotsford bc.Candice B.

I returned the truck with the same amount of fuel as when we took it. We even took photos of it before we left, in case there was an issueâ€¦ and they still charged us an additional $25 for fuel. They said that it wasn't the sameâ€¦ Even though it clearly was and we held up our photo to the gas gauge. They were the same.Heather B.

Vehicle was tidy but not clean, very dusty inside, windows very poor. Back roll up door was missing a wheel and that axle jumped ouT of the track making rolling it up and down difficult, needing tools to correct. Check in and check out was fine.David J.

I swept out the complete inside of the 1-Ton Van we rented and it was all the previous person's dirt, but I left it well dusted and swept the floor. I swept out the two seating areas on the floor but found some- ones smoke butts in the holding trays on the passenger door. Not nice to see them. Very satisfied with the Service we got from owners.Bella S.

First of all, the truck was very dirty and there was water bottle left in cupholder and there was all over on dashboard and they said that the sanitize the truck before they gave it someone else. Even there was another lady the time, the time, I went to pickup the truck and she was complaining about the same thing and backside the floor was really dirty and I have to use my own bedsheets yo cover the dirty, so my mattress won't get dirty. The lady called me back today to clean that freaking truck. I just left one piece of cardboard box inside it and she want me to clean the whole truck for her. Moreover, she was very rude over the phone and she said to me that did I inform to them that truck was dirty. Really, is it my duty to tell them? How come I suppose to know all these things, it was my first time renting a truckGopi S.

Covid-19 physical distancing was not clearly being practiced. It made one question whether the truck cab had been cleaned prior to our rental, so we cleaned it down ourselves. This location is central which is great, but organization and cleanliness of the store is lacking.Mason G.

I have rented U-Haul before. Truck has had blankets and dolly in it when I have preordered. Here I had to take them out to the truck and carry them back in. Not a big deal, but not the service I have been accustomed to. Also, I am not impressed with the policy of sending a vehicle out with a less than full tank of gas. How is a customer supposed to estimate how much gas it takes to fill to 3/4 tank? I end up â€œdonatingâ€ several litres of gas. Not real impressed with that.Brian T.

I was quoted one price by Jason in Arizona and again by a lady for Uhaul in New York. I asked them if this was Canadian they said yes. When I got to The Red Apple for pickup they would NOT let me have the truck for less than $250 deposit. Fortunately I just had it. I used the truck for 2 1/2 hours and I got $177.20 cents back.Point is Don't quote the customer one thing and then it's more than double at the pick up. Thank you.SUSAN H.
