I believe the price per mileage is a little high. I think uhaul should charge by hour instead of miles. It's a little unforgiving for those who have to travel further then down the street.

Ajaykumar PThe location, in a strip mall, has no sign on the business itself to indicate that it is the uhaul site as well as Richmond Geeks. When we finally figured it out, thanks to a neighboring business, the person was rude and simply held out his hand saying " I just need the keys. When I asked where I should park as there is no truck drop off site he again said he only needed the keys. It's a poor location with poor service.
Leslie MI did not have the equipment that I paid for and I never received the refund on top of that I was charged an extra $50 for whatever reason totaling 134 for a 7 hour U-Haul . I drove less than 2 miles 2x and less than 1 mile to drop the truck off. I wanna recommend this specific location to anyone.

NAVEEN KStore opened 15 minutes late. They didn’t have the moving blankets that I had reserved on line. So basically I didn’t have moving blankets that are critically important to protecting furniture during transport. This shouldn’t be a reflection on the business that supports U-Haul but on U-Haul itself.
ROBERT SI returned the truck. They called me and told they couldn’t find the truck. Accused me of stealing the truck, U-Haul yep on phone and zeke at the location. Come to find out the truck was sitting in the parking lot the whole time. Pissed off what I am. I will be getting a lawyer because you have no right to threatening me with reporting it stolen and accuse me of stealing the truck when the truck was in the parking lot the whole time. Your employees was in competent and lazy and really didn’t check the parking lot like Zeke said.someone from corporate needs to refund me what I paid for truck ASAP!!

Mark SVehicle was not well maintained. It is not even cleaned properly. However I got charged for fuel even though fuel state is same when I took the vehicle . I reserved for 4 hours and gave it back within 2 hours and used only 4 miles. However I have refuel the used fuel as well but still I got charged. It’s very disappointing and don’t want to use this in future.

Chris CTried to use the APP to return the truck but it crashed several times. I would not recommend to anyone to use the self return option on the app. Only return to a location with a live person.
Joseph LThey wanted nothing to do with helping us, they acted annoyed when we called (as instructions say to call upon arrival in drop of city) and said if we wanted any help we should change locations to the uhaul center in the next city over.
Stacey SI got the truck at half the gas tank and return at same half of tank but they still charge me for 14.95 for gas . That is not right. I will never rent from this place again.
Gina TBe friendly and professional. They did come out later and helped me hook up trailer. Did not take time to put in drop off location. It took an extra call to fix.

Jake OWe reserved two dollies. Upon arrival, we learned that these had been given to other people. As two people who were moving by ourselves, we were incredibly frustrated by this. We asked if we could extend our rental time to offset this inconvenience, but we were told no. It made a stressful day of moving even more stressful.
Sam WTruck didn't start the first time I tried it and sounded like it was barely running the whole time I was driving. Storage area of the truck was clean but the cab was gross. Mobile pickup was very confusing and took me forever cycling through the UHaul website - would have been nice to be warned ahead of time to arrive 30+ minutes before my pickup time. Chose this location because it was the only one near me with the size truck I needed but will plan further in advance to avoid this location in the future.

Tiffani KRefund me the $13 gas charge. I drove 35 miles and filled that truck with 3 gallons of gas before returning. At 15 miles per gallon for that truck I should have easily gotten back to the amount I started with.

Joshua RWe tried 3 other locations and was unsuccessful; so we were glad when we called and a truck was available. We were expecting to get a pick-up for $19.95; the box truck was the only availability. I realized the box truck is what I needed.
Terry JThe pick-up process was very efficient. I also appreciated the ability to pick up after 6:00 PM on Saturday and return on Sunday. No other place near me was open after 2:00 PM on Saturday, which doesn't make much sense to me. The truck itself was old and very bare bones. There was no way to charge or listen to my phone. Still, the truck served its purpose.
KATHERINE RThere was just one employee in the store and so he was trying to multi-task. Was on the phone the entire time I was in the store. I get it but don't like it.
Terrence MWhen I went to pick up the rental truck that I reserved earlier, I found out that my pickup location of the reservation has been changed and I have not been notified. The person at the pick up location helped me get the truck but I went through the entire process again even though I put all my information and uploaded my driver license in your system.
Sinan OWe dropped off before office hours (our choice), so no one was present to help us with the drop-off/check-out process. See my comments for Pick-up section above, as we felt the same way about checking out - very time-consuming, difficult, and confusing.

We went to the original place and after waiting for calls to UHaul, were redirected to this location. We had difficulty seeing where the business was located, but they were simple enough in dropoff.

Joyce TWhen I arrived, I was told the equipment was not going to be available. When I requested my $50 which was promised if the equipment was not available he said he didn’t know anything about that. Eventually he did give me the equipment. There was trash in the cabin.

mohammad SNot the fault of the rental location but the self check in through the site is glitchy. I wasn't able to submit a photo of the mileage and gas level when I returned the truck. I have one saved on my phone just in case it comes up but I wasn't able to include it with the sales record. Also, be aware that when it says "available for pick-up at 8:00am" you should factor in the 30-40 minutes of navigating the u-haul site for self checkout. This includes taking a selfie of the driver(s), their driver's license(s) and waiting for a customer service rep to approve every photo. A time consuming process that will eat into your rental window. Also, when selecting the option of self checkout at the time of reservation, they don't notify you of the fact that if you self checkout you have to return the truck via the same process or a $20 "processing" fee is charged. I'm not entirely sure of WHY that fee is required since it doesn't change anything a u-haul employee would have to do. They still have to inspect the truck for damage, the mileage and gas levels. It just seems a quick and easy way to tack on an extra $20 (see the second sentence above). Fortunately this location didn't do this but the fact remains that it's possible and no defense could be made by the customer without a lengthy customer service phone call and a lucky dice roll that you receive a sympathetic agent.

Delano LNot I would not recommmend thiis location, if same person behind counter. He was not very personable and the truck was in A parking lot at least 1/2 mile from counter. He didnot take me to the truck & I had never driven a truck like that. I could not get it started & I didnot turn the truck on. He billed me on line for $200. I have no intention of paying anything. I didnot get the truck started. He was in a hurry to close, another person was in shop with him. Do not bill me. Audrey Pape I worked for Avis Rent A Car 54 years & I do know how these Rental Agents should treat their customers & he wood not be there if I was in charge.
AUDREY PTrucks needs better maintenence. Is not fair to be ask to leave a clean truck when im getting a dirty mess one. And the pictures should be updated so that we dont have to be taking our time to take new pictures and explain all the flaws, dents and scratches of the rental

Kavey DI used less than 2 hours and only 27 miles of use. Filled the gas to the same level when I picked up they still charge $16.09 for the gas. The agent didnt have time to check when you return the vehicle and you have to pay the price. Not recommend.

Brandolyn JI used the mobile pick up/drop off and it was great. I cannot speak much to the location or staff itself, but they provided clear instructions online which were easy to follow.
Kareena DThere was a sign that they'd be back in 30 minutes and it was in midst of our pick up time. They were out for well over an hour, and got to use the Uhaul for less time than we rented it for. There were 2 other uhaul renters that this happened to as well who waited longer and they offered no solution to it, no compensation or anything. Acted like it wasn't a problem to begin with.
Neida HI have rented a lot of uhauls and for the most part, I have always had an average experience. Today I had the best experience with uhaul I ever have. The man who helped me (I don't remember his name unfortunately) was extremely patient with me and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. I will only use this location from now on when using uhaul because the customer service was so amazing!
